President Trump’s return to the Middle East this week, the first since his first-term 2017 visit, will take place amidst great turmoil. It is a region that bears little resemblance to the Middle East of 2017 and it appears, at least from media reporting this past week, that the Trump Administration has some understanding of this reality.
Syria has been over-run and is now controlled by the same al-Qaeda that the US government supposedly spent 20 years fighting in the “war on terror.” Violence against religious and ethnic minorities has, predictably, exploded under the “rule” of a self-proclaimed Syrian president who until very recently was on the US “most wanted” terrorist list.
After the October 7, 2023, Hamas raid, Gaza has been reduced to rubble and turned into a humanitarian catastrophe. Tens of thousands of civilians have been killed and perhaps another million face starvation. US bombs and financial aid have facilitated the utter destruction of Gaza.
Iran has made peace with Saudi Arabia thanks to Chinese mediation and is deepening its ties with the Kingdom. Thus, the US has little leverage in talks with the two former enemies.
Israel is conducting military operations against several countries in the region simultaneously as the world increasingly condemns its aggression against its neighbors.
After tearing up the JCPOA nuclear deal with Iran in his first term, President Trump is pushing for a new deal with Iran while threatening to attack if negotiations do not produce the results he demands.
Massively increased US military action against the Houthis in Yemen starting in March did not result in their capitulation to US demands. Despite attempting to put the best spin on things, it is clear that the US retreated from the region in the face of a series of successful Yemeni actions in defense of their homeland.
Biden and then Trump launched attacks against Yemen on behalf of Israel, but in the end the US president wisely removed US military assets from the area and called off the bombing.
In short, President Trump will be wading into a minefield this week, but it is a peril that the US government has largely brought upon itself. Decades of US interventionism, from at least the 2003 Iraq war, have not produced the peaceful transformation of the region, as promised by the neocons and their mentor, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
From the unnecessary Iraq war – based on lies – to the destruction of Libya and Syria and countless other interventions, the Middle East is a basket case. And it turns out none of it actually helped Israel at all!
Having ignited the tinder box of the region with US backing, Israel has now found itself friendless in a region increasingly hostile to its policies and even its very existence. Now there are indications that the Trump Administration is tiring of this entangling alliance as the MAGA base looks more warily on foreign interventionism.
The lesson that President Trump should take with him is that to a large degree it has been US interventionism in the Middle East that has produced these poisoned fruits. His wise military disengagement from the Houthis in Yemen should serve as a US model for the region. Ties forged by trade and friendship produce peace and prosperity and are far preferable to endless neocon war cries.
Is this for real? Or is it con-trick whereby Trump tries to fool the Muslim world into thinking he’s on its side to wheedle out some deal? Like In MILLER’S CROSSING where the Irishman pretends to go over to the Italians, when it was all just a con.
Or like when Don Corleone told Luca Brasi to pretend to join with the Tataglias.

These ethnic or religious feuds tend to be endless, whether they involve Israeli Jews versus Muslims, Ukrainians versus Russians or the various other feuds around the planet. The wisest thing the United States can do is just stay out of them.
In addition to the fact that it is unlikely we will resolve such feuds, they take our focus off more important problems here at home. Trump has done a good job on getting the border under control but has largely failed to get government overspending under control. The DOGE cuts of a hundred and fifty billion dollars are not nearly enough when you are running two trillion dollar a year deficits. Interest on the federal debt is now over a trillion dollars a year and growing.
The current low interest rate Fed policy is encouraging borrowing and spending rather than saving and investing. Economic growth comes from such investing and the lack of it is leading this country into a recession. Voters will likely blame Trump for the upcoming recession, causing Republicans to lose in 2028.
Hard to believe that wasn’t understood when America endorsed the creation of the state of Israel which has led to irreconcilable problems, trillion dollar wars, and massive loss of life plus having America become a puppet for Zionist lunatics.
It’s surely a sign of the depraved character of a nation when it selects, through whatever system it uses, three supreme leaders out of three who have no loyalty to the nation.
Obama had his loyalty to the Muslims and to some of the Blacks. Biden was loyal to older women and illegal immigrants and Trump’s loyalty is to loud, brash, tasteless material excess. Everything else gets lip service.
This is not going to end well.
That is a great movie Miller’s Crossing. I think Trump is just telling the kikes to go F-off already and if that’s the case I’m all for it.
Hi HT: I have question for you or anybody on UNZ that’s somewhat off topic but related to the kike trying to run our country America like their own personal fiefdom. This involves the Federal Reserve Bank (which I have said this before isn’t Federal, it didn’t have any reserves, it is an organized criminal racket) how many genuine American men (meaning of Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Northern European lineage) has had the chairmanship of this central bank in the past 50 years? I know Paul Volcker (who was a yid with a German last name even though he isn’t German) was a jew and I think everyone since his term up to today has been a yid. Anybody want to answer me that question? And who the hell gave them the right to control this central bank by themselves even though I think there was one yid at Jekyll Island in 1910 and that was that commie supporting yid rat Paul Warburg (again a yid with a German last name). Who the hell gave these aliens who didn’t even create America as a new country the right to run it like their own fiefdom? Anybody want to answer the 2nd part also?
Trump’s half-truths.
But the US never tried to topple regimes like the ones in Saudi Arabia because they were puppets of the US. The US, under Jewish control, targeted the Arab countries that sought to secularize and modernize, like Iraq, Libya, and Syria. Trump ignores that.

Neocons have been the dominant faction in the Republican party since the eighties, with Ron Paul type libertarians and Pat Buchanan type paleocons in the minority. Neocons believe in hegemony over the rest of the world.
This group would consider Israel to be an extension of this hegemony in the Middle East, expanding Nato to be extending U.S. hegemony in Europe, and continued support of South Korea, Japan and Taiwan to be extending hegemony into the Orient.
This attempt at world hegemony has driven Russia, China and Iran together as allies to oppose it. It has also led to trillion dollar a year defense budgets, something this country can’t really afford with two trillion dollar a year federal deficits.
Pythagoras writes:
Every move the Orange Baboon makes suggests the exact opposite. eg:
1) The Ukraine proxy war continues (after Donald Chump promised during his campaigning for the 2024 election that he’d end it in 24 hours).
2) The ongoing U.S support (like fast tracking 2000 lb bombs) to the Apartheid Israeli state, so that they can keep slaughtering and dismembering the Palestinians in their tens of thousands.
3) The way Donald Chump fellates Bibi Netan-yahoo on the regular.
Pythagoras, WHAT THE EFF IS WRONG WITH YOU?
Are you that much of a MAGAt cultist that you can’t see that the Orange clown is, and always was, a ZOG sock puppet?
Can’t answer. Long as I can remember organized jewry has dominated banking at all levels. All part of their belief that what’s theirs is theirs and what’s yours is theirs too.
Fiat/FED is the way they keep us under control. Honest money is the way to break that control.
They stole so much wealth from the elderly with zero interest rates which also helped run up our national debt even more.
Trump is going there to milk 🐄 his Sunni cows and crown 👑 Jew Lany our man in Syria.
To make sure his stay in Riyadh is safe, he made a temporary truce with Yemen.
To ensure his Sunni 🐄 🐮 🐄 🐮 allow him to drain their udders with a straightface and withmote ease, he had to feign a “I am not Bibi’s puppet. Death to Bibi” act, which the Sunni 🐄 🐮 welcomed with trillions of dollars and a big smile.
Meanwhile Trump sent the biggest 🚢 🚢 shipment of explosives ever to Israel. Today Bibi dropped a huge 😳 load of bombs 💣 😍 😅 on Gaza, just in case anyone took Trump ‘s playacting seriously.
Our Lord the Devil 😈 😊 🙏 💪 works in mysterious ways.
Why is it everyone plays along 🤔 with Trump, including the ugly midgets in Beijing, our Kremlin Gremlin, the Ayatollah l, et Al ??? Why does everyone falls for his lies, every time, each ⏲️ time, all the time?
The answer is obvious. Our Lord pulls everyone’s strings here where everything is set up for his chosen few to win.

You write an interesting question as to why were the Jews allowed to do this, found a national central bank and get the permission of the national government to do so?
It happened in 1694 when the Bank of England was founded, and in 1913 when the USA Federal Reserve Bank was founded. Other countries also had central banks that has less effects on world affair.
Permit me to give my opinion as to why this banking nonsense was allowed to happen.
It was a sales job made to the governmental powers that be by promising what were for all intent unlimited funds for the government without raising or adding taxes. What was not to like by government types? Up until then governments got their money through taxation, various levies, import duties, and tariffs. The quantity of these incomes could be highly variable due to variations of economy, harvests, shipping, etc. A central bank was able to guarantee a steady income stream for the government independent of economic activity.
Central banks can print and circulate money without restraint ie. create it out of thin air and, by making this money available first to the government, keeps those types happy and in power. The effect of course is inflation, but that is a separate issue which requires no action by the government. But the taxpayer and his descendants will be faced with paying these bills with higher prices, taxes, and reduced value of the currency, eventually.
Retail banks add to this scam by loaning out money that it doesn’t have on deposit, and charging interest on this “free” money. Nice racket if you can get into it.
Tooth – What has your CCP masters offered you to keep acting as their mouthpiece?
Joker, there is no one (absolutely NO ONE) in the UR webzine, that is even close to me as far advocating for Free Market Ron Paul libertarianism and Capitalism (thus making me the mortal enemy of Communism/Socialism in all its forms)
All UR readers are well aware of that.
So when you claim I’m affiliated with the CPC (Communist Party of China), you emphasise to the other readers what an absolute idiot you are and demonstrate that you’re employing projection.
(In other words, you accuse others of what you are most guilty of).
And seeing as I oppose Socialism and all its variants, that’s a major factor for my opposing the U.S in its current form.
Because America has descended into being a Socialist* shit hole – hence the reason why hordes of homeless in the U.S reside in tent cities, sleep under freeway overpasses and bridges, or walk around in an opioid induced stupor.
Contrast that to China, which is the bastion of Capitalism among the major countries of the world today. (ie: Minimal Gubmint as a % of GDP, low income and corporate taxes, minimal regulatory impediments that hinder the private sector from generating wealth and prosperity for the nation).
And most importantly of all, China employs Ron Paul’s core Non Aggression Principle.
China does not bomb/threaten with sanctions/intimidate other nations like the ZOG controlled U.S does routinely.
China employs the Jeffersonian maxim of:
‘Trade and peaceful relations with all nations, entangling alliances with none’.
(*The hallmark of Socialism is unrestrained expansion of Big Gubmint and heavy-handed tyranny and authoritarianism. Witness for example, what occurred during the Covid Psyop as people were mandated to take the toxic clot shots or risk being terminated from their employment. Witness also how a majority of U.S states have passed anti-BDS legislation and how U.S university students are being brutalised, deported etc, if they protest against the slaughter occurring in Gaza).
For sure China was guilty of some of that Covid tyranny itself during the scamdemic, and so is hardly a perfect society. But, even though China’s system has numerous shortcomings (which I’ve highlighted in my UR commentary on numerous occasions over the years), from an overall standpoint they’re light years ahead of the depravity that the U.S regularly engages in.
Getting back to where I was earlier, and in relation to the atrocities being committed in Gaza (with the full backing of the USSA), you don’t lose any sleep over that. You’re all for innocent civilians and non combatants being dismembered by U.S made 2000 pound bombs graciously supplied to the IDF, or seeing Palestinian civilians who, whilst still alive, being run over by IDF tanks.
In fact, the UR readers suspect that you get off on it.
It’s because of bloodthirsty neocons and rabid warmongers like yourself (you’re someone who never met a war/U.S foreign intervention that you weren’t ‘All-in’ for), that the U.S is able to do what it does around the world, yielding death and despair in its wake.
You wholeheartedly approve of your beloved Anglo-Zionist empire spending countless trillions engaging in wars on behalf of the Apartheid Israeli state.
That money that is squandered each year by the ZOG sock puppets (like Donald J Chump), could be much better utilised back home to help your fellow countrymen in need.
But you’re having none of that.
People like you put Senators Tom Cotton and Lindsey (The Pederast) Graham to shame, in your commitment to increase expenditures on the ZOG controlled MISSS (Military Industrial Security Surveillance State).
Joker, you are a conscience-free lowlife and foot soldier of the Talmudic misfits that rule America.
Tooth – Practically every comment you make in UR expresses admiration for a Marxist nation of some variant, peppered copiously with name-calling and insults.
Then you call me an idiot…
Joker, you do have a propensity for making idiotic comments.
So, if the shoe fits …..
Tooth – You have me confused with yourself. I think that is the worst insult I have ever heard from you, and you did not even say it.
Trump is not dumb. He has to see that dealing with most of the Arab world is better than dealing with the Zionists. This week was all about business agreements which is Trump’s comfort zone. It was not like dealing with Israel and their constant demands and endless victimhood. However, if Trump does figure it out and start to turn on the Israelis he may well get the JFK treatment.
If only. I think the idea is to extend Jewish hegemony over the US, and then use US power to allow Israel to wage victorious war on an ever-expanding circle of antagonists in perpetuity.
Isn’t that what has actually happened? After all, at no point has anything occurred that materially benefits the US; that hasn’t even been sought. All this is not for our benefit; we’ve become a tool.
