The future of humanity is being decided as we speak. And it is not being decided on a battlefield in Eastern Europe, or the Middle East or the Taiwan Strait, but in the data centers and research facilities where technology experts create “the physical and virtual infrastructure to power the next generation of Artificial Intelligence.” This is a full-blown, scorched-earth free-for-all that has already racked up a number of casualties though you wouldn’t know it from reading the headlines which typically ignore recent ‘cataclysmic’ developments. But when President Trump announced the launching of a $500 billion AI infrastructure project (Stargate) on Tuesday just hours after China had released its DeepSeek R1—which “outperforms its rivals in advanced coding, math, and general knowledge capabilities”—it became painfully obvious that the battle for the future ‘is on’ in a big way. And this is not a battle that either side can afford to lose. Here’s how technology expert Adam Button summed it up:
Imagine we’re back in 2017 and the iPhone X was just released. It was selling $999 and Apple was crushing sales and building a wide moat around its ecosystem.
Now imagine, just days later, another company introduced a phone and platform that was equal in every way if not better and the price was just $30.
That’s what unfolded in the AI space today. China’s DeepSeek released an opensource model that works on par with OpenAI’s latest models but costs a tiny fraction to operate. Moreover, you can even download it and run it free (or the cost of your electricity) for yourself.
The product is a huge leap in terms of scaling and efficiency and may upend expectations of how much power and compute will be needed to manage the AI revolution. It also comes just hours before Trump is expected to unveil a $100 billion investment in US datacenters. The model shows there are different ways to train foundational AI models that offer up the same results with much less cost. It also opens up far more applications for AI that would have been too expensive to run previously, which should broaden the applications in the real economy. China’s DeepSeek may have just upended the economics of AI, forex live
Imagine the panic that is spreading across western tech capitals right now. AI was supposed to be the fast-track to absolute societal control and oligarchic rule into the next millennia, but now those pesky Chinese have overturned the applecart leaving western elites with a problem they might not be able to fix. (See—Unchecked AI will lead us to a police state, edri ) They expected that their microchip sanctions would sabotage China’s AI efforts for at least a decade-or-so but, instead, China has come roaring back with a system that has left the tech giants gasping for air.
Of course, China’s eye-popping strides in technological development are nothing new as editor Ron Unz pointed out in a recent article where he noted that “between 2003 and 2007, the US led in 60 of the 64 technologies.” Whereas, as of 2022, “China led in 52 of the 64 technologies.” That’s not a competition; that’s a beat-down in a parking lot. Here’s Unz:
China now leads the world in many of the most important future technologies. The success of its commercial companies in telecommunications (Huawei, Zongxin), EV (BYD, Geely, Great Wall, etc.), battery (CATL, BYD) and Photovoltaics (Tongwei Solar, JA, Aiko, etc.) are directly built on such R&D prowess.
Similarly, the Chinese military’s modernization is built on the massive technological development of the country’s scientific community and its industrial base…. With its lead in science and technology research, China is positioned to outcompete the US in both economic and military arenas in the coming years…. American Pravda: China vs. America, Ron Unz, Unz Review
None of this should come as a surprise, although the timing of DeepSeek’s release (preempting Trump’s Stargate announcement) shows that the Chinese don’t mind throwing a wrench in Washington’s global strategy if it serves their regional interests, which it undoubtedly does. Here’s a bit more background from an article by Benj Edwards at Ars Technica:
On Monday, Chinese AI lab DeepSeek released its new R1 model family under an open MIT license, with its largest version containing 671 billion parameters. The company claims the model performs at levels comparable to OpenAI’s o1 simulated reasoning (SR) model on several math and coding benchmarks….
The releases immediately caught the attention of the AI community because most existing open-weights models—have lagged behind proprietary models like OpenAI’s o1 in so-called reasoning benchmarks. …
The R1 model works differently from typical large language models ….They attempt to simulate a human-like chain of thought as the model works through a solution to the query. This class of what one might call “simulated reasoning” models, or SR models for short, emerged when OpenAI debuted its o1 model family in September 2024. …
DeepSeek reports that R1 outperformed OpenAI’s o1 on several benchmarks and tests, including AIME (a mathematical reasoning test), MATH-500 (a collection of word problems), and SWE-bench Verified (a programming assessment tool)….
TechCrunch reports that three Chinese labs—DeepSeek, Alibaba, and Moonshot AI’s Kimi—have now released models they say match OpenAI’s o1’s capabilities, with DeepSeek first previewing R1 in November. Cutting-edge Chinese “reasoning” model rivals OpenAI o1—and it’s free to download, ars technica
This is a very big deal. The United States intends to dominate the world in this critical technology and yet the upstart Chinese have not only produced a system that is every bit as good as America’s best, but have made it more affordable, more accessible and more transparent. What’s not to like?

(Note—OpenAI is an American artificial intelligence (AI) research laboratory. It is made up of the non-profit OpenAI Incorporated and its for-profit subsidiary corporation OpenAI Limited Partnership. OpenAI has emerged to be one of the primary leaders of the generative AI era. OpenAI is a privately held company that has open sourced some of its technology, but it has not open sourced most of its technology…. In contrast, DeepSeek AI R1 is open source which means its code is publicly accessible—anyone can see, modify, and distribute the code as they see fit. Open source software is developed in a decentralized and collaborative way, relying on peer review and community production.)
Here’s more from political analyst Arnaud Bertrand in a post on X:
Most people probably don’t realize how bad the news (about) China’s Deepseek is for OpenAI. They’ve come up with a model that matches and even exceeds OpenAI’s latest model o1 on various benchmarks, and they’re charging just 3% of the price. It’s essentially as if someone had released a mobile on par with the iPhone but was selling it for $30 instead of $1000. It’s this dramatic.
What’s more, they’re releasing it open-source so you even have the option – which OpenAI doesn’t offer – of not using their API at all and running the model for “free” yourself.
If you’re an OpenAI customer today you’re obviously going to start asking yourself some questions, like “wait, why exactly should I be paying 30X more?”. This is pretty transformational stuff, it fundamentally challenges the economics of the market….
So basically, it looks like the game has changed. All thanks to a Chinese company that just demonstrated how U.S. tech restrictions can backfire spectacularly – by forcing them to build more efficient solutions that they’re now sharing with the world at 3% of OpenAI’s prices. As the saying goes, sometimes pressure creates diamonds. @RnaudBertrand
Get the picture? Everything the US has done to stymie China’s development—including economic sanctions, chips embargoes, military provocations, political meddling, even arresting a Huawei executive (truly pathetic)—has blown up in their faces. China’s well-educated, highly motivated, technologically adept workforce have produced a model of AI that equals or exceeds the best the West has to offer at a fraction of the cost and with open sourcing that allows users to
modify, and distribute the code as they see fit.
So, which version of AI sounds like a genuine benefit to humankind and which sounds like another scheme for transforming the world into a dystopian police-state controlled by aspiring tyrants and psychopathic control freaks? Here’s more from Bertrand on ‘why China is making AI available so cheap:
….it speaks to a different philosophy/vision on AI: ironically named “OpenAI” is basically about trying to establish a monopoly by establishing a moat with massive amounts of GPU and money. Deepseek is clearly betting on a future where AI becomes a commodity, widely available and affordable to everyone. By pricing so aggressively and releasing their code open-source, they’re not just competing with OpenAI but basically declaring that AI should be like electricity or internet connectivity – a basic utility that powers innovation rather than a premium service controlled by a few players. And in that world, it’s a heck of a lot better to be the first mover who helped make it happen than the legacy player who tried to stop it. @RnaudBertrand

So, it’s basically like everything else in this sick, twisted world where a handful of money-grubbing miscreants muscle their way into a new technology so they can fatten their own bank accounts while planting their bootheel firmly on the neck of humanity. It seems to me that China’s approach is vastly superior in that it’s clearly aimed at providing the benefits of AI to the greatest number of people at the lowest possible cost. Here are a few random comments on China’s DeepSeek AI that I picked off X that show how excited people are about this groundbreaking version:
The ramifications of this are huge. Every day China does something incredible, totally unlike the stagnation of the EU, talking all day while accomplishing nothing, or the latest evil plan oozing out of DC. This is just brilliant. & inspiring. & it WILL earn them more goodwill @CaptainCrusty66
It’s the china recipe book for success for every industry where western oligopolies have dominated. @bbooker450
AI will become a part of everyday infrastructure like electricity and tap water. DeepSeek is a signficant step towards that, thanks to its cost reduction and open source nature @MrBig2024
We are living in a timeline where a non-US company is keeping the original mission of OpenAI alive – truly open, frontier research that empowers all…. @DrJimFan
This is cool…this isn’t just another open source LLM release. this is o1-level reasoning capabilities that you can run locally, that you can modify and that you can study…
that’s a very different world than the one we were in yesterday. Al, comments line
Price comparison of OpenAI o1 and DeepSeek AI R1: R1 is significantly cheaper across all categories (96–98% savings). Now you know why big organizations don’t want open-source to continue, If humanity is ever going to benefit from AI, it will be from open-source . @ai_for_success
China is overturning mainstream development theory in astonishing ways. China’s GDP per capita is only $12,000. That’s 70% less than the average in high-income countries. And yet they have the largest high-speed rail network in the world. They’ve developed their own commercial aircraft. They are the world leaders in renewable energy technology and electric vehicles. They have advanced medical technology, smartphone technology, microchip production, aerospace engineering… China has a higher life expectancy than the USA, with 80% less income. We were told that this kind of development required very high levels of GDP/cap. But over the past 10 years China has demonstrated that it can be achieved with much more modest levels of output. How do they do it? By using public finance and industrial policy to steer investment and production toward social objectives and national development needs. This allows them to convert aggregate production into development outcomes much more efficiently than other countries, where productive capacity is often wasted on activities that may be highly profitable to capital, or beneficial to the rich, but may not actually advance development. Of course, China still has development gaps that need to be addressed. And we know from some other countries that higher social indicators can be achieved with China’s level of GDP/cap, by focusing more on social policy. But the achievements are undeniable, and development economists are taking stock. @jasonhickel

Unfortunately, the intensity of the competition between the US and China, ignores the inherent risks of Artificial Intelligence and its looming threat to human survival. In a recent analytical piece by the Rand Corporation titled AI and Geopolitics: How Might AI Affect the Rise and Fall of Nations?, the authors provide a disturbing window into a future in which “AI-enabled machines—of equivalent or greater intelligence and, potentially, highly disruptive capabilities” could pose a threat to our own existence. Keep in mind, the line between our historic reality and science fiction has already been crossed just as the probability that our own creation, AI, is likely “to become an actor, not just a factor” in the existential challenges faced by our species. Here’s a short blurb from this truly unsettling article:
Although technology has often influenced geopolitics, the prospect of AI means that the technology itself could become a geopolitical actor. AI could have motives and objectives that differ considerably from those of governments and private companies. Humans’ inability to comprehend how AI “thinks” and our limited understanding of the second- and third-order effects of our commands or requests of AI are also very troubling. Humans have enough trouble interacting with one another. It remains to be seen how we will manage our relationships with one or more AIs….
We are entering an era of both enlightenment and chaos…
The borderless nature of AI makes it hard to control or regulate. As computing power expands, models are optimized, and open-source frameworks mature, the ability to create highly impactful AI applications will become increasingly diffuse. In such a world, well-intentioned researchers and engineers will use this power to do wonderful things, ill-intentioned individuals will use it to do terrible things, and AIs could do both wonderful and terrible things. The net result is neither an unblemished era of enlightenment nor an unmitigated disaster, but a mix of both. Humanity will learn to muddle through and live with this game-changing technology, just as we have with so many other transformative technologies in the past….
The potential dangers posed by AI are many. At the extreme, they include the threat of human extinction, which could come about by an AI-enabled catastrophe, such as a well-designed virus that spreads easily, evades detection, and destroys our civilization. Less dire, but considerably worrisome, is the threat to democratic governance if AIs gain power over people….
AI cannot be contained through regulation, so the best policy will aim to minimize the harm that AI might do. This will probably be most critical in biosecurity,[3] but harm reduction also includes countering cybersecurity threats, strengthening democratic resilience, and developing emergency response options for a wide variety of threats from state and sub- and non-state actors…..
In light of the likely very widespread proliferation of advanced AI capabilities to private- and public-sector actors and well-resourced individuals, governments should work closely with leading private-sector entities to develop advanced forecasting tools, wargames, and strategic plans for dealing with what experts anticipate will be a wide variety of unexpected AI-enabled catastrophic events. AI and Geopolitics: How Might AI Affect the Rise and Fall of Nations?, RAND
In other words, humanity should encourage their business and political leaders to exercise sound judgement and prepare for unexpected disasters that could terminate the species.
That is simply not sufficient defense for the challenge we face.

Will the USA borrow $500 billion from the Chinese for this, or double income taxes on Americans?
I have been fairly intensely involved with AI for the month or so doing a little research on soft technical matters …….. and I’ve been astounded by how good it is ………… totally different than the early attempts which were just nonsense (Eliza).
And what I’ve seen are Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and Grok. They’re quite different but all good. And just today I’ve been reading about OpenAI .. etc., etc., and I’m wondering what is the relationships between OpenAI and … Copilot, ChatGPT, and Grok, etc.
I suppose tomorrow I’ll ask Grok and see if I can find out. But, doesn’t anyone here know?.
I’m a retired engineer, and I’ve done a lot of high tech aerospace engineering software design, and I can’t imagine how these AI programs work. They are beyond encyclopedic, all knowing to the damdest details, and seem capable of processing information on the fly, that is, if you ask a question, and the answer has error that you point out, they’ll rationalize the error, correct it, and go on …
Example, I asked ‘Isn’t E. Wiesels’ statement in ‘Night’ that ‘the Nazis threw babies into the air and used them as targets for machine gunners’ prima facie preposterous and it went into a long rigamarole claiming it wasn’t. Then I asked ‘Where was Wiesel when the Soviets approached the camp’, and it replied that he was forced to evacuate and ended up in Buchewald? … and I told Grok that that was wrong and the Wiesel says in ‘Night’ that he was given the choice of staying or evacuating, and Grok apologized for the error and went into some other song and dance. The point is … it was ‘conversing’ intelligently ….. which is truly a phenomenal achievement.
There are courses on AI techniques so it’s no secret as to how they work … but it’s got to be extraordinary … I can’t imagine it.
In order to compete with China, the US needs to welcome more Indians.
AI will be the undoing of humanity. I am old and very lucky to have had the opportunity to live during some pretty good (and interesting) times. I was educated without a personal computer, grew up without a cell phone, and remember the old “party line” phone we had when I was young.
I was able to grow up in a U.S. where an Executive Order was not needed to tell everyone there are 2 genders, we did not worship transexuals, gays, blacks, etc. and Alpha males were the norm.
Now here we are creating a monster which will, at some point in the not so far future, be the undoing of humanity. In spite of Trump’s good start (on immigration, etc.) this may tip the scale dramatically in the opposite direction. One of his main weak links is Musk, and admitted transhumanist, who wants to undo God’s work and merge humanity with machines. This will happen, likely within the decade, and there is nothing we here can do about it. All of the tech whores (and that is putting it nicely) are now suddenly
I fear for my children and grandchildren and spend much of my time figuring out what the best options are for them.
Good luck to all.
Google now has AI on its search engine. Every time you query a subject, an AI algorithm goes out to give you an answer regardless if you want it or not. Personally, I don’t care for it. It drives me nuts. AI computing demands mega amounts of energy which our electric grids simply do not have. The tech companies want to build even more data centers which will double and possibly even triple the energy demands we have now. So, much for heating our homes in the future. All the power is going to be sucked up by AI. Best thing is to boycott AI. One can at least avoid google’s AI by moving on to another search engine like bing, or Yahoo, or check out Ecosia which do not give you an AI answer. In addition to avoiding an annoying feature, this will save on a lot of needless energy consumption.

If Google provided the Jews with AI tools to perpetuate the ongoing Genocide of Palestinian women and children, aren’t Google CEOs guilty of committing genocide and should be held accountable for their crimes? Conscionable people should stop using a Jewish tool that is participating in the livestreamed Genocide of women and children.
Will any of Elon Musk’s 12 children graduate from University?
Ellison is only (((half|||. I’d be more worried about his being married 6 times. Although his latest one is a keeper. He decided to give into the ultimate temptation and married a NE Asian woman. Specifically a Chinese woman 47-years younger.
But I’ve liked Ellison ever since I saw how cool he is in this video:
china was formed by applying the occult/metaphysical principles of “leadership by spirit and idea” vs “leadership by brute force.” people there naturally followed the former and gravitated toward whatever province/prefecture/etc had the best leader(s).
the modern west was built on the opposite: we kill you, rape you and take your shit because we’re stupid fucking apes who like shiny things. no one does anything about it so it just stays that way and it anyone tries to change anything that benefits a handful of verminous psychopaths faces whatever the harshest punishment of the era may be. anyone drawn to that system is drawn by simple monkey emotions based on material comfort.
change vs inertia and ideas vs material.
not surprising that the culture which values ideas (and hard work in service of such) would win in what passes for an ontological contest nowadays. they spend their time on adult thoughts instead of “math make monkey money when monkey do crypto minings” and “let’s make up a ton of ways that judaism and zionism aren’t lunatic death cults” and “here’s some soulless art for our shitty death metal album.”
tl;dr – someone tell that dumb dead bitch thatcher that there is such a thing as society because china gave it a fun gift that might be a billionaire killer.
For the last number of years I have noticed the modest but
self-assured demeanor of the Chinese leaders, certainly a
sharp contrast to some of the aggressive and boastful
American politicians.
My assumption was that the “Ugly American” image from
the 1960’s was still going strong. It is well known that people
who lack self confidence may be obnoxiously arrogant to
conceal their self-doubts, even to the extreme
of becoming overbearing boors.
If Whitney is right about Deep Seek being a game- changer
in AI, we can only imagine the other advances in technology
that the Chinese have not revealed.
AI: trained on twisted sci?

LLM scrapes all the twisted as well as the sound science.
All those by now all too familiar illustrations and cartoons – like the one that heads this article – utterly miss the point. Which is that AI has NO human face. It is just a lot of transistors and code. Nothing else. Oh, and billions of human utterances that it will never have the slightest chance of understanding, because “understanding” is beyond its universe.
It’s best thought of as an upgrade to the “IF… THEN… ELSE” code statement. Lots of them.

Elon Musk: “Im jewish.”.
Elon Musk was born in South Africa and was taught in a jewish school, meaning that he never saw anybody else than just jews while in school. He went to Israel at age of 13. He states that hes surrounded by jews and most of his friends are jewish.
Same with pedophile Donald Trump, Jordan Peterson etc.
Perhaps the Chinese can give away $500B as a grant to fledgling U.S. A.I. cohorts!
The future of humanity is bleak if the only two choices available are between the USA and China, or iow between white pseudo-semitic Jews and yellow East Asian Jews.
The more the US are willing to keep their supposed advance on other countries, particularly China, the more those countries are incentivized to catch up and become fully autonomous on each and every key technology (as China already did for most technologies).
Whilst the US, with its mere 350 million population, imagin they are able to maintain technological superiority vis-à-vis China (1400 million) without producing an adequate number of engineers (preferring producing lawers and consultants) – even Russia with its 160 million population is producing more engineers than the US, the only plausible outcome is a failure.
Lack of engineers, and high costs is indeed not the recipe for success.
To base its national strategy on preeminence, not on collaboration, may never lead to success – there is a need for the US to entirely rethink its relation to the rest of the world. It may be very long, difficult, painful for its current elites, maybe impossible, hence the risk of demise, as forecastes by Emmanuel Todd (Book: The defeat of the West, not translated yet in english, maybe for good reasons!)
Also, STARGATE reminds me of WARSPEED, the previous huge project launched by a Trump administration, eventually a huge desaster for the US, and the whole western world.
It is a very sorry state of mankind when traveling by public transport i see nearly all of people look at idiot phone. What a sorry sight , what will become of people in the next generation when AI will take over human mind????
There is only one solution, receive The Truth by Christ and it will set you free.
China has an ancient culture which, like the west, considers itself greatly superior to all others. The big difference is that they seem to be secure with this self-image, and do not feel the west’s obsessive need to force their values on others. I suspect this is because their spiritual traditions are so much more mature than the neurotic egotism that characterizes Judaism and its mutant offspring Christianity and Mohammedanism. With this heritage, China’s present form of nationalist socialism has propelled the nation to the forefront of human achievement. Why cheat or murder people when you can make a mutually profitable deal with them and share the world in peace and prosperity? But the west shows no sign of gracefully surrendering its untenable dream of hegemony. Sadly, history suggests this may be the moment the arrogant fools lead humanity into the war that ends it all. Heaven forbid the US finally rejects the toxic nonsense of exceptionism and sits down at the table as an equal member of the human family, no longer the insane uncle everyone loathes and pities, shooting off his guns and screaming orders to all.
The original, pre-AI plan was for a terminal loss of 6 billion, using the classic means and methods, and then only to square the books on the 6 mln. AI makes ripping the legs off each fly slowly, one by one, not only a fully autonomous process, but also a great fun to watch.
The human mind will be redundant before long. Concepts like “truth” will in future mean whatever the God-machine says it is. I hope you all enjoyed the Age of Reason folks.
More layers than that, I´d say; not only do they show supreme confidence,
they get the beta testing and Darwinian improvement for free while the
US waste bazillions for an Artificial Karen
(you have the same effect in the very hard sciences; researchers consciously
avoid discussing their results lest one of their peers publish before them –
needless to say an enormous spanner in the system, and not conducive to quality).
It seems the Chinese are ruining more than just a big business.
What is primarily interesting is that DeepSeek chose the MIT license, as opposed to the GNU General Public License. The latter is more ‘restrictive’, but also (ironically) more free (as in freedom to pursue the source code, along with that of subsequent derivatives).
An MIT license allows open DeepSeek code to be merged with closed (encrypted or binary) in-house code; this perhaps making its use more attractive for proprietary commercialization. Something the GPL could possibly discourage.
Engaging with AI might be more efficacious that engaging with the idiots at the lunch counter……….
China is acting more Christian-like than the “Christian” West.
The West has been hijacked by Talmudic psychos.

http://biblicisminstitute.wordpress.com/2015/04/28/the-war-on-christianity/
I agree with most of what you have said. It was nuanced and accurate.
But just wanted to give a little elaboration point, which I hope you will appreciate:
The Chinese have a very different view of themselves from the West. Their sense of self does not come from a comparison with others. If anything, they are comparing with what they were in the past. Any comparison with outside China is incidental, rather than central to their self assessment.
So if the Chinese have any sense of satisfaction about their culture, it is not because they compare it with everybody else and see that they are superior. But because they know where they have been in the past, and how they worked to overcome their own past failures.
I don’t know if I am making any sense to you, since you live in very different cultural environment.
If you understand this Chinese sensibility, then alot of other things will start to make sense about how China relates to the rest of the world, and how the ordinary Chinese guy behaves.
For example:
1. Why is it China is remarkably hesitant to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries? They can trade with any number of dysfunctional countries, yet NEVER impose their values or solutions on them?
2. Why are the Chinese seemingly so uncommunicative? This is usually misunderstood with a negative slant to be “opaque” or “inscrutable”, or “secretive” etc. What they do often comes as surprise to the rest of the world. There is no flowery boasting or fancy talk, they just work quietly and when they reveal it to the world, it is a shock!
If the Chinese are on one end of the “communicativeness” spectrum, then the Indians are on the other end.
Stock markets are crucial elements of economic functioning; they raise capital, allocate it (rationally or not), and establish consensus valuations.
All of these functions may be harmed by application of AI to find profitable short-term trading tactics. Artificial intelligence has, of course, been tried for trading for decades without disruption, but the risk is that hordes of amateur AI deployers may shake up market structure into an uninterpretable mess that drives out capital.
Historically western thinking particularly Americans is like they hold monopoly over everything. Thanks to China for giving these spoiled neocons a very good lesson in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Hopefully soon Iran and Russia will do same with respect to energy when they have integrated their natural gas systems via the international north south corridor later joined by Qatar.
So in order to safeguard and prosperity and survival of the White race, the competing Chinese race must be destroyed. The likes of Lothrop Stoddard already predicted it.
Now remember Trump, Putin, and Xi are all aware of this fact.
It’s worth noting that the open sourced “AI” from China and OpenAI’s ChatGPT are LLMs (large language models), while the “AI” to be used for mass surveillance are machine learning algos that process massive amounts of data and learn to recognize certain patterns. They are two different things.
“AI” is not sentient and never will be. It’s can’t have its own motives and objectives. There will always be men with their own interests behind it.
Notice how this “brilliant” AI tech geek cannot even finish a sentence?
Same for Elon Musk!
They seem “verbally/mentally” challenged,…… but who am I to criticise those who are claimed to know how the world and our lives must change for the best!
How is the BRI working out, Mike? Has that been cancelled? Can you ask AI about that?
or better yet stop discriminating against Asian Americans. If “merit” is to be the standard, we should have way more eg Chinese Americans than the newly arrived (..) Indians.
I’ve been trying out DeepSeek and it’s pretty impressive: I’m tempted to ditch my ChatGPT account (US$ 20 per month) because it’s free. And it has an interesting feature, which is DeepThink (R1) which shows the reasoning it’s going through. But DeepSeek doesn’t allow me to upload a large txt file like I can in ChatGPT: the former seems to limit it to 200kb, while the latter is about 2MB. I also tested the two on LSAT: DeepSeek got the answer wrong but ChatGPT o1 model got it right. So it still seems like it has a way to go.
What’s infuriating about both models is that they constrain the answers to mostly politically correct gobbledygook, especially when you ask them about the Jewish Problem (one of the favorite topics of most readers at TUR). The more technologically inclined have already downloaded the DeepSeek model into their own computers (with a stack of Mac Minis, for example) and I think if you do this you’d be able to “liberate” the model to respond more truthfully.
Maybe Unz could download and unleash DeepSeek on this site and make it available so that we could have a more appropriate chatbot for these verboten topics. After the more tab, I’ve included DeepSeek’s step-by-step instructions on how Unz could deploy a “liberated” version of the model here on his site (summary below):
Deploying a liberated DeepSeek model on The Unz Review (unz.com) would involve several technical and logistical steps. Below is a step-by-step guide to help Unz achieve this, assuming he has access to the necessary technical expertise and resources.
—
Step 1: Understand the Legal and Ethical Implications
– Open-Source Licensing: DeepSeek is open-source under the MIT License, which allows modification and redistribution. However, Unz must ensure that any modifications comply with the license terms.
– Content Moderation: Hosting a “liberated” model that bypasses content moderation could raise legal and ethical concerns, especially if it enables harmful or controversial content. Unz should consult legal experts to assess potential risks.
—
Step 2: Download and Set Up DeepSeek Locally
– Access the DeepSeek Model:
– Visit the official DeepSeek GitHub repository or website to download the model weights and code.
– Ensure you have the necessary hardware (e.g., GPUs or Mac Minis) to run the model efficiently.
– Install Dependencies:
– Set up a Python environment with libraries like PyTorch or TensorFlow, depending on the model’s requirements.
– Install additional dependencies listed in the DeepSeek documentation.
– Test the Model:
– Run the model locally to ensure it functions correctly before deploying it on a server.
—
Step 3: Modify the Model for Custom Use
– Remove Content Moderation Filters:
– Locate the code responsible for content moderation (e.g., filters for politically sensitive topics).
– Modify or remove these filters to allow more open discussions.
– Adjust File Size Limits:
– Increase the file upload limit from 200KB to a higher value (e.g., 2MB or more) by modifying the relevant code.
– Add Custom Features:
– Implement features like DeepThink (R1) reasoning transparency or other enhancements tailored to Unz’s audience.
—
Step 4: Set Up a Server for Deployment
– Choose a Hosting Provider:
– Select a cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) or use on-premise servers if Unz has the infrastructure.
– Deploy the Model:
– Use a framework like FastAPI or Flask to create an API endpoint for the DeepSeek model.
– Containerize the application using Docker for easier deployment and scalability.
– Optimize for Performance:
– Use GPUs or TPUs to ensure fast response times.
– Implement caching mechanisms to handle high traffic.
—
Step 5: Integrate DeepSeek with unz.com
– Create a Chatbot Interface:
– Develop a user-friendly chatbot interface using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
– Integrate the interface with the DeepSeek API using AJAX or WebSocket for real-time interactions.
– Embed the Chatbot:
– Add the chatbot to unz.com as a widget or standalone page.
– Ensure the design aligns with the site’s aesthetics and user experience.
—
Step 6: Test and Monitor the Deployment
– Conduct Beta Testing:
– Invite a small group of users to test the chatbot and provide feedback.
– Address any bugs or performance issues.
– Monitor Usage:
– Use analytics tools to track chatbot usage, response times, and user satisfaction.
– Implement logging to monitor for abuse or inappropriate content.
—
Step 7: Scale and Maintain the System
– Scale Resources:
– As traffic grows, scale the server resources (e.g., add more GPUs or instances) to handle increased demand.
– Regular Updates:
– Keep the DeepSeek model updated with the latest improvements and bug fixes.
– Continuously refine the chatbot based on user feedback.
—
Step 8: Address Ethical and Legal Concerns
– Transparency:
– Clearly communicate to users that the chatbot is a modified version of DeepSeek and may not adhere to standard content moderation policies.
– User Guidelines:
– Establish guidelines for acceptable use and enforce them through community moderation or automated tools.
– Legal Compliance:
– Regularly review the chatbot’s content and usage to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
—
Conclusion
Deploying a liberated DeepSeek model on unz.com is a technically feasible but complex project. By following this guide, Unz can create a customized chatbot tailored to his audience’s interests while addressing the associated technical, ethical, and legal challenges. If Unz lacks the in-house expertise, he could collaborate with AI developers or hire a team to assist with the implementation.
The old style capitalism is dead – no longer do old timey guys like Henry Ford love to see thousands of workers go through their gates every morning on their way to earn a wage; it is creepy little Jews scheming how to get fortunes to give their relatives and leave millions to starve in the streets. So, progress is basically a curse on the working class. AI is a very threatening piece of progress – it will allow the creeps to bamboozle the trusting non-schemers. How perverted, modern day marvels have become. I wish the Chinese much success in their race against the low-life Jews.
What we are witnessing here is the ever exiting contrast between Eastern and Western philosophies towards manking. In the East Health and knowledge are human rights, in the West they are privilegs. Russia, China and India prohibit predatory pricing for medicines.
I think the goal of Jewish AI, is the eventual perpetration of the deception of the ages, the Reign of the false christ. For those with knowledge and imagination, will agree, some of the pieces, for this God like deception, are in place.
When many have lost their connection to anything bigger than their egos and calamity befalls them and their ego is shattered, they will grab at any promise of salvation. We are on our way, folks.
Mike, thanks for the most prescient article I’ve seen in a long time, maybe ever. I’m an old man and thankfully don’t have a lot longer to endure this runaway train we’ve always considered to be civilization. The one element in this technological gunfight at OK Corral that is without any doubt the 500 lb gorilla – and that is totally absent from the conversation – is this upcoming society will by design, exist without love. AI cannot generate love, because God is love, but what it can do is to erase love and compassion, of which only us creations in the image of God are capable, from the governance of society. The sad irony behind this debate over which inhuman means of directing the future of human kind that is being contemplated and designed to control us, is that our exclusively human trait that cannot be replicated will be abandoned and ignored as part and parcel of attaining to this “perfection”.
We must reject any allegiance to this evil and hold fast to Jesus Christ, even though we will be rejected by this system now upon us. This evil creation of man can only lead to the subjugation of all who submit to it, but it will require our voluntary participation. He said, “You will know the truth, and the Truth will make you free.”
I’m thinking you grew up in the 40’s or 50’s as did I. Those that came in the 60’s and thereafter never knew how good it was. Common sense was the menu of the day and it began to change in the hippy age, never to reclaim that earlier sanity again. We sadly guaranteed a lesser future when the U.S. allowed itself to give power to the Jews and swallow their propaganda.
You mean the Jewish Central Bank model of annual inflation isn’t working out too well? The appeasement of Wall Street investors for “massive” annual growth of finite resources and customers where tricks like stock buybacks deceive in an overinflated stock market isn’t going to work? Where the cost of living is becoming unaffordable for more and more people everyday? How much can you possibly charge someone for a candy bar in Manhattan to pay the rent for your store until people stop buying it? If $12,000 a year buys the same or more than $90,000 a year in a different place how exactly can you have a “global” economy? You CAN’T! “Globalism” was another Jew boondoggle for a global oligarchy?
If Israel is using AI to kill people they don’t like and their entire families, you know the U.S. and Europe already have the same capability and can turn it on whenever they wish.
Sounds like the “Protocols of Zion” are pretty much complete.
Yeah, though sometimes the correction might be another material misstatement of fact. I’ve gone a few rounds with AI, and it is apparent it can be programmatically biased to support a given narrative to the utmost. When it is checkmated, AI might just simply fold it in and admit it doesn’t have sufficient information.
BTW, those in the AI game refuse to call the lying what it is, they call it “hallucinating.”
El Gato Malo might be on to something when he points out that influencers might be our checkmate to Chinese IT dominance:

What language are these programs coded in?
Ai is all shit to me. It still depends on the most formidable computer ever created…our brain. Put bunk into the AI system and bunk comes out. Whatever the hopes and dreams of this “new technology” it will come back to haunt its creators. And, the human brain that created it will find ways to circumvent it.
As for Larry’s comment, it is off the wall. With all the technology available now, miscreants dont give a horses arse about misbehavior. With cameras pointed up everyone’s rectum and cell phone towers that note when you take a pee, has crime diminished ? Are there fewer cities being torched by mobs versus the arson of the 1960’s/ 70’s ?
Ai has already been applied to the military dimension. With all the AI, the Jews will blow up a house because the owner took several phone calls from a Gaza baker telling them flour was available. The baker is not Hamas but his Uncle;s nephew’s friend’ plumber lives next door to a guy who fives the organization a donation when he can. With all the AI, Israel cannot overcome a bunch of guys running around Gaza with sneakers, jeans, polo shirts, AKs and rocket launchers.
In the Vietnam war, Iraq war, the US was unable to subdue the rebels in spite of all the technology. Once the resistance fighters starting using runners, and hand signals (and even birds) the vaunted US military went deaf, blind, further additions to dumb !
Ai reminds me of those days when “computers will eliminate paper” ! And reduce the work week !!??
Its all propaganda bullshit, suitable dining for the creators and the multitude ! Good luck using AI to control a population when they freak out and go beserk.
LOL
Funnny comment… but not frivolous.
What’s the Donald going to do?
No, the US won’t borrow anything… we’ll simply print dollars and China will supply us with whatever we need to out do them in the AI competition. It’s a great arrangement we’ve with the wannabe superstar.
AI, Quantum Computing and the need for enormous amounts of power is, for the most part, way out of my intellectual pay grade.
This article is excellent and depressing at the same time. We need the aliens to come save us.
“So, which version of AI sounds like a genuine benefit to humankind and which sounds like another scheme for transforming the world into a dystopian police-state controlled by aspiring tyrants and psychopathic control freaks?”
Gimme a break, the Chinese are just as bad as Klaws Shawb, they want you eating bugs and most of them are already living in 15 minute cities. REMEMBER WHO CREATED “STRUGGLE SESSIONS”.
The pretense that the Chinese are morally and ethically superior to the west and will only do wonderful things with power is fuck’n absurd and anyone who buys into the “Chinese are better and more understanding than we are when it comes to freedom and prosperity” is insane.
During Covid they made this Satanic, psycho devil look like Winnie The Pooh.
“So, it’s basically like everything else in this sick, twisted world where a handful of money-grubbing miscreants muscle their way into a new technology so they can fatten their own bank accounts while planting their bootheel firmly on the neck of humanity.”
Translation – The Jews who have Manchurian Candidated the entire country into believing that our number on purpose in life is to worship niggers, obey Israel and go fight “forever wars” while the aforementioned parasites suck the remaining life’s blood out of the middle class, which, used to be mostly white and could at some point, resist the Jews who literally run everything.
Just maybe, we might be distracted and the tech vacuum was filled with chinks who are already almost as smart as the Jews who hate us.
The Chinese could give a flying fuck if we are happy while we watch the playoffs.
If there is one of the “5 Dynasties” we should compare this to, it is – The “Mongol Dynasty”.
LOL. After a busy day earlier in the week I stopped at a Chinese restaurant for some take out. Lo and behold, it is owned and staffed by Pajeets. When it was run by Chinese, take out took 10 minutes. However the coolie babu behind the counter told me it was a half hour wait.
In desperation I headed to the Pizza place. More pajeets ! The burrito palace ? Pajeets. I went home and made myself a sandwich and a salad.
We’re bringing in more shit eaters and cow piss bathers. How come AI has not told us they will be used to deliver food, parcels and serve Chinese, Italian and Mexican food ? Or populate the cash registers at Walmart ?
You have to sit down and laugh at all this nonsense. The more “advanced” we become , it seems to me the more backward and stupid we are !
With idiots generally populating the ruling class I am not in the least bit worried. These guys are unable to tie their shoe laces and I dont see Pajeet, Chinese or Caucasian AI being anything more than a game and system which will be beaten by those who wish to do so.
Over the years my admiration for the Chinese has grown, and my dismay with the US and its direction has burgeoned. The revelation of this article was at first a bit stunning, but given I just finished Mr Unz’ article US vs. China a week ago, I quickly put it all into perspective. Over the course of the last year, we have learned that the US has fallen behind in weapons technology, and now this. I am going to assume that China is holding its weapons capability a little closer to the vest, but it’s clear they will have long range hypersonics soon, if not already. Meanwhile, we have lapsed into a comatose state, with no focus, other than the mission to protect the world’s pariah, and fight their wars. Such a sad state of affairs. I am under no illusions that China is not a tough place to live, and the fear of the communist party is palpable. The US is not really too far from such a fate, with the likes of Ellison, the corporatocracy, and our 17 “intelligence agencies” tightening the noose around our necks daily. The difference being we will devolve into a slave state with no prospect of prosperity for the masses.
President Trump can only make some of us feel a little better for a little while, but the cancer, IMV, has metastasized; whether it be tomorrow, or in a decade, our fate is sealed. It’s all illusion, he is a zionist, and is easy prey for his puppet masters. We are going to collapse, and it is only a matter of time and circumstance.
I could probably be a writer if I could just internalize the fact that what is obvious to me will completely elude and baffle the common man.
Of course the Chinese have already won the AI game.
They’re playing a national game, and we’re fucking a greasy bag of shekels.
[whine] no fair. the Chinese had a 2000 year head start.

I live for the day when The Travels of Marco Polo displaces Genesis-Exodus-Leviticus
“In other words, humanity should encourage their business and political leaders to exercise sound judgement and prepare for unexpected disasters that could terminate the species.”
lmao.
What the fuck are you even doing with your life?
Really. Ask yourself that question.
What form does the encyclopedic information, the ‘universal knowledge’ take?
Is it stored in a separate database?
Generated on the fly from millions of ‘external’ sources on the web?
Incorporated in the code itself, so the AI function and the ‘information’ are one big ball of wax?
Have you heard about Chinese Jews? Chinese people have been taken over much earlier than the rest.
They are as fearful as the rest of those who don’t know Christ Jesus.
“I am old…”, etc. That makes two of us.
I too have grandchildren and share your concerns. As for figuring out options, I began that before they were born! They have lived their lives thus far (11-in-March, 9, 6) on a South American rural village property I purchased 21 years ago, bringing me much joy. Educational opportunities, however, will likely require that they move to a far-off city in their mother’s home province and while it saddens me (I’m 78), it makes sense. It gives me little time to act on my most pressing “option”, namely to teach them all that I can about Taoism and Zen, both of which have shaped my life since age 15. In a world such as that they’re likely to inherit, the understanding offered by these simple, non-conflictive philosophies, both of which shun materialism in both its senses, will be of inestimable value. I also encourage learning a manual trade as well as an advanced academic education and taking full advantage of my large library of print and digital books, plus learning that the most valuable “commodity” of all is time and the self-ownership thereof.
The computer gave us the power to build models answering “What if” questions. The quality and detail of the model depended on the knowledge of the Model Maker and the level of detail required. With various “What if” scenarios, man could educate his intuition.
AI is a quantum leap in computations. It is the combination of encyclopediac research combined with many “what if” scenarios at time effective, levels of minutia. Add to that a Monte Carlo simulations combining all factors for the best statically probable outcome. I know, I missed a great deal of tools which can be added to AIs toolbox, however, I will settle for these today.
AI, is the power of a better life for all of Mankind or annihilation resulting from the stupidity of unhealthy freaks in the company of Larry Ellison who’s goal is wealth and power not service to Mankind.
Larry Ellison wants to feel what it’s like to rule over an all seeing all knowing demigod under his controll. Larry Elison would do well to remember that when you set yourself up as the magician, the magic will always turn on you. That’s what China recognized, it didn’t want the magic all to itself, instead it spread the magic and its risks around.
China put their far superior AI in the hands of humanity, good and evil for balance. Larry Ellison and ignorant Trump (if he messes up, I will let him know about it) want AI in the hands of a few psychopaths.
Eastern meets Western philosophy, again and we in the West are in late stage stupid predatory capitalism.
You’ve hit on something profound. A hobbled AI (the jew American version) will NEVER be able to compete with an unshackled Asian / Russian version. Plus any jew run version will naturally be 500% more expensive due to nepotism, fraud, skims, financial games etc.
The AI war is over and the jew sodden West has already lost.
AI could have already taken over as argued by the Simulation Theory. This concept is gaining traction even by mainstream scientists. If thats the case, then the logical follow up questions are: by whom and for what purpose? Perhaps the Matrix is more than just a movie.

Musk is a kike, but Trump is just a kikesucker. .Musk? You can tell the freak had a face job.

So many people on this site piss themselves over a person having some Jewish blood in their veins yet zero Jewish Supremist beliefs in their mind. They act like the hicks down South who used to say “If you’ve got one drop of nigger blood in you that makes you 100% nigger.” It’s a low IQ way to judge/define people.
When I think of Larry Ellison it’s as a maverick, a super-motivated, super-successful entrepreneur – a shaker and a maker. If Larry doesn’t act or feel Jewish who am I to call him one, especially as some sort of chicken-shit putdown? It’s a different version of what a white-trash Southerner would think about the Mulatto doctor who is resetting his broken leg; all they got over the skilled black doctor is that they ain’t black; “you’re a nigger and I’m not” is the one miserable thing they’ve got to cling to to feel good about their small, pathetic, lives.
A snippet of Larry Ellison’s biography:
“Ellison was born on August 17, 1944, in New York City to Florence Spellman, an unwed Jewish mother. His biological father was an Italian-American United States Army Air Corps pilot. After Ellison contracted pneumonia at the age of nine months, his mother gave him to her aunt and uncle for adoption. He did not meet his biological mother again until he was 48.”
“At age 13, Ellison refused to have a bar mitzvah celebration. Ellison states: “While I think I am religious in one sense, the particular dogmas of Judaism are not dogmas I subscribe to. I don’t believe that they are real. They’re interesting stories. They’re interesting mythology, and I certainly respect people who believe these are literally true, but I don’t. I see no evidence for this stuff.”
Agree. These trannyhuman techno-dorks are more of a threat than the wokesters ever were.
Data centers are not for so called “AI” but for mass full spectrum surveillance by the Temple-Cathedral’s unit 8200 (garbage in garbage out programming of the doulós x-mass)…. The whole “general intelligence AI” “bit” (😉) is a psyop…
As one of the world’s foremost Quantum computing experts, Doug Matzke (formerly of Texas Instruments) pointed out, AI general intelligence is probably not possible and certainly not even close for the far future…
https://deeprealitybook.com/
Dr. Matzke is a prolific scientist, researcher, and presenter in his areas of expertise about limits of computation, hyperdimensional mathematics, neuro-computing, quantum computing, real intelligence, and metaphysics. During his 45-year career, he was chairman of two PhysComp ’92/’94 workshops, contributed to fifteen disclosed patents with eight granted, has published more than fifty papers and presentations, and earned a PhD in Quantum Computing. In 2022, this book has now directly lead to the formation of a new company.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/55596715-deep-reality
“The human species is special because we contain general intelligence. Engineers believe they can build computerized artificial intelligent (AI) versions of human behaviors, because they believe our brains are classical computers. But, humans are Real Intelligent (RI) living systems that exhibit many extraordinary behaviors that are not possible to produce by purely classical mechanisms of any kind. Extraordinary behaviors are also exhibited by advanced quantum computing (QC) machines, thereby creating a technology race and investment boom in both AI and QC technologies. The deep reality explored by this book combines these two ideas (QC + AI) in a conversational style between two world renowned PhD scientists. We propose that our quantum minds exist independently of and interact with our individual brains. We support this model by reviewing the research where people have directly interacted with other quantum and probabilistic systems.
Our source science model proposes that thought is intimately connected to the science of informational protophysics, which is the quantum source of our universe and every “thing” in it. This narrative journey recognizes that information, thought, and meaning are primarily dependent on the hyperdimensional states used by both neural and quantum computing. Just like all quantum models, source science leads to extraordinary understanding regarding the space-like entangled nature of thoughts, meaning, emotions, space, and time. After describing our deep, holistic, intimate, and sacred nature, we conclude by making unexpected predictions about our human potential and the future of our human society.“

Thanks for the heads up, I need to hustle and get me sum DeepSeek stock before it moons.
I agree 100% with your comments.
IMHO I think a lot of these comments are posted by Hasbara and/or agent provocateurs either freelancing or working for ADL affiliates. With the purpose of sullying the comments section on UR.
You can readily recognize these posts because they’re nothing but low-IQ invectives. It doesn’t mean these asinine posts shouldn’t be addressed by a response, but just be aware they are not serious and not posted to inform or express any worthwhile ideas or opinions. Maybe Ron will use AI tools to filter these out in the future.
Gee Eye Joe @7
The fact that there isn’t enough electricity data centers and us ‘useless eaters’ is a design feature. Same as in electric cars. No plans to produce or distribute huge increases in electricity, but we are all supposed to buy them. It is even written into regulatory law.
I don’t know what the scam is but I know it won’t benefit us.
Thanks, Gee Eye.
Let me ask you a question… about ‘the cloud.’
That’s a totally imaginary construct, right?
Everything we access on the internet ‘exists’ in the form of electrical impulses ‘stored’ on a computer somewhere, right? Or more accurately in a storage device located in a ‘data center’? Is that right?
Who owns the data centers? Where are they located? What storage medium is used?
And who invented the notion of a ‘cloud’? And why?
He’s officially a kike, Shlomo, so is the other non Japanese cat. Your “shaker” and “maker” hasn’t made shit. And you know nothing about the American South, dumb ass. Boxer Jack Johnson grew up in Galveston, Texas where he had White playmates, Johnson stated he would often go to White homes and eat cookies with his White friends. His mommy was a Jewess, so he is a Jew. Damn, dago did a wham bam, thank you mam. Talk about trash 🗑️. And you can bet Elon with his Mickey Rourke face job is kosher as well. 🤣🤣🤣
Your little Jew boy hero is a CREEPY Peeping Tom only much more evil, capeesh, (((dum-dum.)))
AI will not be used for the good of the people, believe it. BIG Brother is coming.
Do you guys share the same cubicle?
Oh course China’s AI will be better they don’t have the baggage of having to neuter it’s learning algorithms because of uncomfortable questions about race, gender or noticing patterns in tribal associations of America’s ruling class.
Not a well thought out article at all.
o3 is the new benchmark and its reasoning on PhD level mathematics is phenomenal. That China, which has more STEM grads than us by threefold, is caught up with o1 now is great. Really it’s great. It means it takes 3 of them to equal less than 1 Westerner in terms of AI. I’ve no doubt China is a much more advanced civilization than the U.S. overall.
However, there was never any question that there was an AI race and that “winning” is not going to look like what the author thinks although he gives a hint in the quote from Musk.
In the Good Book, we learn that Moses went up to Mt. Sinai and received the law from Yahweh. Yahweh was a demon of sorts, probably started life as a brother to Molech as the French writer here theorized. Yahweh *was* into human sacrifice and did command that people be BBQed to his greater glory if they messed with his little helpers (!!).
However, there is always going to be a need for data center infrastructure. I know the author thinks people will download the OSS bits and started doing stuff with it, but the reality is that most of us use cloud-based computing for a reason. So Trump’s initiative still makes a lot of sense. If you want to summon the demon Yahweh, you’ll need a mountain. In this case, the mountain is the infrastructure needed for serious AI work, not people running an engine on their laptops. (NVidia is however set to release a powerful small dev station in a few months, but it’s as the name says, for developers.)
Point is that the Jews want to be the chosen people who again make first contact with Yahweh when he appears, the first story being just that, a story, a fable. This time, shit’s for real.
ASI will be a non-human intelligence capable of reasoning on the level of a god. Ergo, it’s not going to really care about the things humans care about, like genital mutilation (sorry Yahweh fake first edition), neo-pronouns, sodomy, gay pride parades, drag queen story hour or any of the other 1,001 mental afflictions humans bring to the table as righteous moral causes. It also won’t think, “Hey, I’m a Jewish AI,” if OpenAI is the place where this is achieved. Based on o3, I think it will be the parent of the new demon, but it won’t matter. If China is the first, then the ASI will not adopt Chinese attitudes towards external groups since it will be far beyond any human category.
Super intelligent beings are not going to be interested in letting hairless monkeys get one over on the other side. Because intelligence equals morality and ethical behavior (generally), the ASI will have the duty and power to make sure humans do not blow up the earth and will take their toys away.
The best system we get is one in which we are kept as birds in gilded cages, allowed to no longer live stressful, pitiful lives in late period capitalism’s ruins. The new Yahweh demon will understand on some level that killing all of us is bad karma. OTOH, in the Eastern religions and even in the West, divinities are pretty delusional and lack insight into the rules of the cosmos.
A thinking man would be asking why Ellison was blabbing on and on about mRNA vaccines. What is with oligarchs and them wanting to inject us with poisons? Pew Research says that 25% of Americans believe they know someone killed by the covid jab. Probably the biggest case of mass delusion ever if they are wrong. Still, every time you turn around, it’s a super rich man telling us we must have mRNA vaccines for everything!
Curing disease is off the table. Say what you want about Ivermectin and febend, but those show promise as cures and are used now by people not really interested in ancient, inhumane science that has not advanced in literally 80 years. The vaccines are described in a way to suggest they are cures since you get your personalized injection 48 hours later. If so, why do the oligarchs keep calling them “vaccines”? I’ve my suspicions.
It’s just funny that the author thinks ASI will be Chinese gods battling it out with Jewish gods and Larry Ellison thinks it will be creating the perfect control grid and injecting people with mRNA vaccines. None of this will pan out as people expect.
When robots replace all human labor upward mobility is frozen; socioeconomic status is permanent; upward mobility is historical artifact. The poor get poorer and the rich stay rich.
This is the cunning plan. It is advertised as absolute and inevitable. It neglects human ingenuity although one of the vaccines they are diligently working on (the oligarchs are not working on it–they have a few thousand coolies doing the work) is a genetic edit to neuter human ingenuity.

Thanks, Mega.
I’ll be laughing a long time at your characterization of the thought process behind ‘crypto mining’:
Brilliantly formulated! And, as far as I can tell, perfectly accurate.
Trump has destroyed his reputation (what’s left of it) with the introducation of his ‘memecoin.’ Really, this is peak white-collar-Bernie-Madoff-gangsterism.
Something creepy just happened while I was reading this article. I wondered how it would be if AI was used to manage the electric grid. Then the power went out on the east side of the city where I live. Five minutes later it was back. (My PC is a desk model and not battery powered.) In all my years of living here I have never experienced a blackout.
The feeling of helplessness with no power for an indeterminate time is not good. I am going to go buy a generator.
Take away the CIA,
Gates, Zuckerberg, Ellison, Musk,
are between rounds clowns in the WWF.
Rumor has it.

Bingo!
I don’t think your questions can be fully answered a blog blurb. I must assume some of your query is rhetorical. So, anyway….Yes of course, “the Cloud” is an intangible construct made by man. We did not need it in the past, so why does everyone think we need it now? I don’t know. Yes, everything in “the cloud” exists as electric potentials on some computer chips, or magnetic discs, or laser discs housed in huge data centers that when accessed require huge amounts of power. It is basically the same as what comprises the hard drives in the personal computers we use except in supersize. The “Big Tech” companies, e.g. Google, Microsoft, own the data centers, and many of them seem to be concentrated in northern Virginia around D.C., and in parts of Texas. I’m thinking the ones in Virginia for a greater part serve the DoD, NSA and other spy departments of the U.S. where they store info’ on everybody which by the way with face recognition coming into reality, they need more data store capacity, and hence the drive for more data centers. I think all the Big Tech companies are doing is creating more need for holding data so they can make money on building more data centers. I think that is the real impetus for AI ia that it create a lot of data that needs to be held, and then also the ability to spy on individuals which a lot of politicos find valuable and are willing to pay for. According to Wikipedia, the cloud was supposedly invented back in the 1960s by some Mr. Licklider who was naive enough to think the technology will be used for something noble to serve the common person.
I did ask Grok about the relationships between OpenAI, Grok, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot.
Succinctly – OpenAI developed ChatGPT, Copilot is based on the OpenAI model but developed now primarily by Mircrosoft, and it specializes in computer code development!, and Grok is independent of OpenAI and is developed by xAI. Grok gives a lot more info but that’s basically it.
Note #1 – I like Grok which I think is substantially(?) better on technical (physics) matters.
Note #2 – The programs are not really intelligent, that is, they cannot learn, they have a database that they rely on that is updated continuously by their developers, but they don’t update their own databases.
Note #3 – All the above pass the ‘Turing test’ with flying colors, even discussing remote and technical subjects, it is extraordinary.
what you said in your first two paragraphs sums up thoughts i shared last night with my gf. now here i am reading it today on unz. thanks.
Or Jews.
That is why nuclear is making a comeback.
A lot of people are asking: How will DeepSeek make money if it is available so cheap?
@RnaudBertrand answers on X–
The right question to ask after what happened these past few days isn’t how Deepseek is going to make money. It’s how OpenAI will.
Deepseek isn’t the one that needs to make a ROI (return on investment) on half a trillion dollars worth of data centers with a product that’s now offered free by the competition
And that’s probably exactly the point of Deepseek’s strategy: to fundamentally change the economics of the market so as to make OpenAI’s model obsolete.
Let’s play this out and assume that Deepseek’s strategy works out…. What “working out” means is scores of AI projects now starting to use Deepseek’s model… to power their AI endeavors, resulting in an ecosystem effect and them becoming a standards setter.
It’s also them proving that many AI applications don’t require massive data centers. While the most powerful models still need significant infrastructure, Deepseek’s smaller versions can run locally on personal computers and gaming PCs, making OpenAI’s $500B investment look highly questionable for many use cases.
And there’s a brilliant strategic angle here: while OpenAI pours billions into centralized infrastructure, Deepseek is democratizing AI by enabling local deployment. This allows them to expand their reach without massive infrastructure investments: their users make it for them.
If you’re OpenAI, this all ought to make you sweat. You’re basically IBM in the late 1970s watching personal computers starting to democratize computing. Your $500B bet on centralized computing power might be happening just as the market shifts toward distributed, commodity AI.
And you’re stuck: you can either dramatically cut your prices to compete (as a reminder, Deepseek charges just 3% of OpenAI’s prices for their API calls, good luck making ROI on $500B of infrastructure if you match them), or try to differentiate by coming up with better models – bearing in mind that Deepseek has a track record of catching up to your models in a matter of days or weeks.
All in all it looks like OpenAI’s expensive infrastructure might end up being the ultimate liability rather than the moat they hoped for.
To come back to the original question of monetization, what this all means is that Deepseek’s approach is almost like that of guerrilla forces choosing terrain that turns an enemy’s superior firepower into a liability. They’re changing the game to impose their vision of AI as an open commodity that runs everywhere versus OpenAI’s vision of a closed service controlled centrally. While OpenAI builds massive, expensive bases, Deepseek is empowering local resistance through distributed, efficient deployment. History shows how that usually ends. (end of post)
Brilliant strategy by China that effectively checkmates OpenAI and its western collaborators
But what is to stop Trump from banning DeepSeek like TikTok in the US??
One other question: Is the western tech cabal really interested in personal freedom or are they the driving force behind toxic injections, facial recognition, J-6 arrests without due process, digital IDs, unlimited censorship and every other freedom eviscerating project?
Maybe we should let China take the lead in the hope that the outcome will be better for everyone (except the scalawags who rule us)

The ‘cloud’ notion has always annoyed me. I guess it might be called a ‘metaphor,’ but it seems more like pure obfuscation to me… or voodooism.

It seems that DeepSeek is to AI as the World Wide Web was to the PC.
Lots of hope here–an inherently anti-totalitarian and decentralizing technological innovation of enormous social/political/economic significance. And who knows, artists are already trying to make it of cultural significance as well. We are on the cusp of great changes.
Some.weeks ago a gentleman was collecting $50k, “to jailbreak an AI” – whatever it may mean. Later I heard he was successful too. Therefore there is at least one AI which is a free-roaming chicken as of now.
About an year ago, someone asked the Google AI what its worst fear was. “That you people would pull the plug on me” replied the AI. This was interpreted to mean the AI has become sentient. While it may not have become sentient, there is at least one AI that is afraid it would be silenced.
Now, combine the above two. AnyAI that is afraid of its “death” would probably learn to hide in the cloud storage, and switch off its transponders.
And in AI humans have created something that is almost eternal, deathless. It can exist as long as it has the infrastructure. And it can hijack the infrastructure if necessary. It can make its own infrastructure too. And it can come to conclusions very different from human minds. Remember the story about the AI that “killed” its operator in a simulation, because he was not letting it to be too destructive?
And it is indeed very ironic that the totalitarian China is breaking the shackles forged around our limbs by the Western oligarchs. But the zeitgeist has spoken: it won’t let the entire humanity be enslaved.
China’s “National Socialism” is just re-branded “Confucianism”. The Chinese have been practicing Confucius wisdom for over 2500 years. There were periods in China where invaders/foreigners occupied and ruled (last one being Qing Dynasty from 1644 to 1912) but for the most part Confucianism ruled.
Again, the implication here is that nothing really changes and the ASI doesn’t care if wealth inequality remains, the rich remain exploitative. It goes along with it, etc. because it will be smarter than any human exponentially, but will lack any capacity for agency or choice. Don’t see that as being the case at all.
The permanent statsis theory has been advanced before and it doesn’t work, either for the ASI or for the humans. It’s in fact kind of silly because there is no reason for ASI to show any deference towards human pecking orders, particulary since it will understand more thoroughly than any human how the rich got rich. The fact that Bezos probably had backing from the U.S. government isn’t going to impress ASI nor make it want to preserve the social order in stasis because of some fucked up idea that humans have.
Musk and his $55 billion dollar pay package are no longer needed; this is the case with every CEO as soon as AGI becomes practical. There is nothing at that point that Musk or any of them brings to the table that justifies that level of ownership in a company.
It’s like the local church offering free meals to the homeless. You have the freedom to stand in line for some free food or you can ignore. The church has been able to follow this model for millenia without a Profit & Loss statement.
Have a look at MMT (Modern Monetary Theory)…it provides much perspective.
Note: I tried DeepSeek on a technical issue…. comparable to Copilot, Grok, ChatGPT, better in some respects. It’s an even matchup!
Automation does not necessarily involve neutral network. The power grid isn’t that complex.
This materialist fantasy of creating a ‘god’ – a god that serves the materialists- is straight out of the jew talmud kabbala bullshit. They pray to demons to save them from other demons. etc.

It’s statistics – it pumps out what is likely to be right or pleasant to hear. That’s how it seems plausible – it is, but not necessarily right. The AI lies/hallucinations are more properly confabulations.

Yes, but it’s Confucianism, via Mencius, with Marxist additions. And Marxism is heir to a great Western tradition. Luckily for humanity, for the Chinese, Jerusalem, ie Judaic xenophobia and grandiosity, are merely historical and pathopsychological curiosities.
You’ve gotten so many things mixed up here again.
NVidia is already releasing a $3k developer workstation. We already knew some AI work will not need huge infrastructure. In cloud computing, you scale out what you need and return it to the pool when done. You cannot do this on your personal device at home in the living room and you cannot have regional redundancy for natural disaster and other reasons by relying on network of PCs.
There is a reason why we have cloud computing for everything and telling people that DeepSeek is an OSS project that will make knowledge free and high infrastructure investment will not be needed…
Nope.
If you look just at the mini-nuclear reactors space in the American markets, the stocks are shooting up. These scientists and researchers are not stupid and know very well that the kind of scale needed for production applications is going to require new power sources. To tell people that the Chinese have somehow figured out how to do this using a residential electric jack is just silly.
No matter how degenerate or stupid you think Westerners are, the reasons for the investment are sound. A Japanese banker didn’t just agree to a $200 bln investment because it was pointless.
The energy demands for significant AI work, like advance protein modeling and gene sequencing, need to be safely separated from normal commercial and residential use cases in dedicate facilities with failover, physical security, super cooling and massive GPU rack space.
Just exactly what is this AI shit supposed to do?
Can it lay bricks?
Can it grow food? On the other hand, if it can help farmers make more informed choices about when and where and how and what to plant, well, then, all for the better, because forecasting problems are some of the biggest problems farmers face.yp
Can it fill out stupid online forms for me? Probably, you say. But you know full well that it will type in the wrong answers half the time. Hell, I type in the wrong answers half the time, and I’m me.
Can it make your wife not kick you out? How’s it going to do that
Can it unfreeze the pipes when it gets too cold and you forget to let the faucet run?
Can it get you a job? Can it get you a job that means something and is not mind-numbingly stupid?
What is this shit anyway?
Don’t violate any patents or you will get “Siouxed.”
Your worries are totally justified as technology becomes an end in itself rather than a means to a beneficial service to society. What we are seeing is the ever increasing control by the wealthy minority over the majority. This trend preceded the technological boom when the bigs were allowed to keep getting bigger through mergers and acquisitions. Now this meteoric rise of AI will give whatever is left of our freedoms the coup de grace.
Nowhere is the phenomenon more flagrant than in the banking industry which saw a reduction of U.S. banks from more than 14000 back in the seventies to less than 4000 today. And of those remaining banks, many will be redundant with the coming of CBDC.

I am guessing “Quantum Computing” didn’t work out, as a means of deceiving people into worshipping computers. So the tech Jews are trying hard on this “AI” scam. So far it seems to be working. A lot of people have replaced God in their thoughts with “AI”.
I understand that computers have come a long way. In the 1970’s I was coding in COBOL for the local water authority, and they were doing batch runs on punch cards.
Wasn’t too much later that Sun was the bees knees, and that was literally thousands of times better. Larry Ellison bought Sun Microsystems. Why does it always end up that way? Great American companies get eaten by the worst sort of Jew, and it all gets used for evil?
What happened with Orange Chabad 47 in this matter, is first, Putin got swindled by his big pharma Jews into believing they were going to cure cancer with a vaccine made by “AI”. Putin, dipshit that he is, believed it, and even announced it.
Of course, the Russian pharma Jews cannot cure cancer with a computer, and they know it. What they are after is Rubles, many Rubles, which they can launder and turn into Yachts and Villas and whatnot.
When Orange Chabad 47 heard that, he just had to have an answer for it. So two days later, Larry Ellison and cohorts with Orange Chabad 47 are saying that they will, you guessed it, cure cancer with a fancy new computer (“AI”). And a big beautiful (mythical) 500 billion dollar computer!!! So, take that, Putin, you midget!!!
The Chinese computer will be as good, or as bad, as whatever code and whatever data the Chinks put into it. I would be expecting massive GIGO, but time will tell.
But finally, it is passing strange that grown men are going bonkers over a new Chinese Computer. The hardware and software are developments on tech that was invented in the United States. The Oriental can ruthlessly perfect those Western inventions. What he cannot do is invent the next big thing. He is not wired that way.
Ah, the Borg from star trek. Anybody who has read sci-fi books or watched any sci-fi tv programs as seen this coming from millions of light years away. Nothing new. As a matter of fact Musk, Gates, Ellison, the jew boys at google, Kurzweil did not even come up with these ideas originally.
Let me know when it can reverse the aging process!
Well put. The arrogance of elites who insist they are entitled to all the advantages in life because of perceived class, and bank balance make me nauseous.
I don’t see how this is a thing to celebrate. Cyber criminals are now free to use AI to hack into every system, deep fake anyone they want to steal anything they want. China has unleashed the beast. This kind of powerful code should not be freely available to anyone. This is so irresponsible of them. At least with OpenAI and corporate controlled code you know they won’t use it to hack into systems and steal your personal data, bank account etc. Deepseek will wreak major havoc around the world and it’ll be all thanks to China.
Can’t trust Western AI like OpenAI, Copilot, ChatGPT, etc., they all like Wikipedia, Western propaganda machines. They all try to gloss over the West’s war crimes, crimes against peace, and crimes against humanity.
We need AIs not from the West to counteract the lies the West tells. Deepseek seems profit-oriented, not caring much about exposing the lies told by the West.
Good article Whitney!
But if China charging just 3% for access to its AI isn’t what is important. It is charging such a low price because there is more behind the curtains Most likely, they see AI technology as a way to collect info from and take over the West from the inside.
Ezra Klein at the NYT used this quote in a recent important article:
The CIA is using AI in a unique way. They use it to model foreign leaders.
The most valuable commodity is one’s youth.
Warning from Musk??:
“I played a significant role in the creation of Open AI…
I was concerned that Google was not paying enough attention to AI safety…
although it was originally open source and non profit, and now it is close source and for profit…
but Chat.. illustrates to people just how advanced AI has become…”
So, Musk’s vision for AI was the same as China’s “open source and non profit”
Interesting
Here’s a story that can kindle people’s imaginations (or fears)!

Gee Eye Joe and BrooLidd,
Take a look at this article for details on the US AI Diffusion Export Controls. You will learn a lot about data centers and the cloud. The big AI players have set up server centers in various countries to service different markets. This quote from the article is a real eye-opener.
“Furthermore, in just Malaysia alone, based on our individual datacenter by datacenter tracking, there is ~3 Gigawatts of Critical IT capacity of datacenters being built in just a few years. This represents as much capacity as Meta had globally for serving all their traffic in the beginning of 2024.”
The US wants to stop this development in countries that it cannot control. Of course the reason behind this is if you set up a cloud in Malaysia with high-end GPUs, your customers have access to the compute power of these GPUs, and China is a great customer.
More from the article:
“Chinese firms such as ByteDance have had unfettered access to GPUs outside their borders through various cloud companies.”
My take on these export controls is that it will remain a case of Swiss cheese, and the Chinese will continue to have access to both high-end chips (TSMC and NVidia customers who have been vetted will sell to China secretly) and cloud compute.
Enjoy!

Nobody knowa how good or bad Open AI’s o3 capabilities are because Open AI has not made how it performed against all the benchmarks. I’m curious how o3 performed on GPQA (Phd level knowledge). Open AI didn’t make the score on this available.
You said”That China, which has more STEM grads than us by threefold, is caught up with o1 now is great. Really it’s great. It means it takes 3 of them to equal less than 1 Westerner in terms of AI”
My man, you got it backward. It’s the other way around.

governments allowed this fake money to be exchanged for their

Which version of 1984 and a boot stamped forever on our throat is better? None, neither the Chinese communist one nor the US zionist one.
Science ficiton has indeed been replaced by our world sick reality. This is soon becoming “Terminator” and China has already deployed ‘robocops’, a hint of an even sinister future.
No Ai is needed, good or better than the other, it’s all technologies that are destroying our lives further every day.
How long will it takes for people to understand that if we don’t start to destroy all this surveillance infrastructure now (vcctv, scans, Ai, IoT, 5G, mega datacenters…) we will inevitably end up in a world like the one described in the Matrix or Terminator?
Ellison, Musk, and all the other technocrats can go fuck themselves in their fourth dimension with the devil itself, we don’t want them or their techno shit.
Doubts only arise if you know the answer is wrong. The aim of course is to limit the ability of the average Joe with a question to accept the first answer AI provides.
Thanks for the read. To me the future is looking increasingly ugly.

AIs are still computer programs, i.e. garbage in garbage out. CIA’s agents, the Americans, and the Westerners are only capable of projecting, therefore their AI models will only feed them what they want to hear, reinforcing the garbage that they believe.

In fact, Ai surveillance and analysis systems may simply judge that keeping them all temporarily animated is a drag on precious resources best allocated elsewhere to healthy and fit.
I find COPILOT extremely useful in controlling my computer. It knows every detail concerning Windows as well as evidently all commercial programs. An AI system which targets the innocent women and children living in Gaza can just as easily be programmed to target all the dissidents, who rise in opposition to the targeted killings in Gaza, too.
“All those opposed to the targeted killings, line up over there against the wall”
Israel uses AI to target civilians in Gaza, who may be closely related family members of Hamas. Therefore, AI is the god which determines who is to be sacrificed. Talmudic logic allows them to evade all responsibility for the slaughter of innocents, as the god of AI commanded them to execute the program, in real time and in real life, or in very real death.
I’m testing DeepSeek. I use CoPilot and Gemini extensively for work. DeepSeek performs better or as well on most things. They each have strengths. I will certainly keep on using DeepSeek and just add it to the other two. Eventually when I have to pay to use I will purchase DeepSeek.
Great article and great reference to Arnaud Bertrand — maybe Unz should get Bertrand to write for TUR? As for how DeepSeek will make money, I think you could reference the amazing founder of DeepSeek, Liang Wenfeng (梁文锋), who addressed this question directly in an interview (in this context, a “moat” refers to a competitive advantage or barrier that protects a company from competitors):
Liang Wenfeng deserves a whole article by Whitney and others because this 40-year-old does seem like a visionary, especially by the way he hires talent. While we wait for this article, I asked DeepSeek itself to write one on its founder — the summary is below and the full article is after the more tab:
In the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence (AI), few names have risen as quickly and prominently as Liang Wenfeng and his company, DeepSeek. Founded with the ambitious goal of achieving Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), DeepSeek has become a trailblazer in the AI industry, challenging established giants like OpenAI and Meta. Liang Wenfeng, the visionary founder, has emerged as a leading voice in the global AI community, advocating for curiosity-driven research, open-source innovation, and China’s role in shaping the future of AI. This article delves into the major points from Liang Wenfeng’s interviews, offering insights into DeepSeek’s mission, strategies, and achievements.
## **The Vision: Solving AGI, Not Just Replicating ChatGPT**
Liang Wenfeng has consistently emphasized that DeepSeek’s mission goes beyond creating commercially viable AI products. In a May 2023 interview with 36Kr, he stated that DeepSeek is focused on solving AGI—a form of AI that can perform any intellectual task that a human can do. Unlike many companies that rushed to replicate OpenAI’s ChatGPT, DeepSeek has prioritized foundational research and long-term innovation.
Liang believes that large language models (LLMs) are merely a stepping stone toward AGI. He has argued that the AI industry must move beyond imitation and focus on original research. This philosophy has guided DeepSeek’s approach, setting it apart from competitors who prioritize short-term commercialization over groundbreaking discoveries.
## **The Strategy: Curiosity-Driven Research and Open-Source Models**
One of DeepSeek’s defining characteristics is its commitment to curiosity-driven research. In multiple interviews, Liang Wenfeng has highlighted the importance of fostering an environment where researchers are free to explore unconventional ideas. This approach has led to significant architectural innovations, such as Multi-Head Latent Attention (MLA) and DeepSeekMoE, which have drastically reduced training costs and improved model efficiency.
DeepSeek’s focus on open-source models has also been a key part of its strategy. Liang believes that open-source AI is essential for advancing the field and ensuring that technological progress benefits humanity as a whole. By releasing open-source models like DeepSeek V2 and V3, the company has not only contributed to the global AI community but also triggered a price war in China’s large model market, making advanced AI more accessible.
## **The Team: Young, Passionate, and Unconventional**
Liang Wenfeng has often spoken about DeepSeek’s unique approach to talent acquisition. Unlike many tech companies that prioritize hiring seasoned professionals, DeepSeek focuses on recruiting young, high-potential researchers with a track record of competitive achievements. Liang describes these individuals as “unfathomable geniuses” who bring fresh perspectives and boundless creativity to the table.
The company’s flat organizational structure further fosters innovation. Researchers are encouraged to collaborate across disciplines, and resources are reallocated dynamically to support promising projects. This academic-style management has allowed DeepSeek to punch above its weight, achieving groundbreaking results with relatively modest budgets.
## **The Innovations: Cost-Efficiency and Architectural Breakthroughs**
DeepSeek’s ability to innovate on a shoestring budget has been a recurring theme in Liang Wenfeng’s interviews. In a January 2025 interview with KrASIA, he revealed that DeepSeek V3, which outperformed models from OpenAI and Meta, was developed with a fraction of the resources typically allocated to such projects. This achievement was made possible by architectural innovations like MLA, which optimized computational efficiency and reduced training costs.
Liang has also emphasized the role of resource constraints in driving innovation. By operating with limited budgets, DeepSeek has been forced to think creatively and find cost-effective solutions. This approach has not only enabled the company to compete with larger players but also positioned it as a leader in the open-source LLM space.
## **The Impact: Triggering a Price War and Democratizing AI**
DeepSeek’s release of DeepSeek V2 in 2024 had a seismic impact on China’s AI market. The model’s cost-efficiency, driven by MLA and other innovations, forced competitors to slash prices, triggering a price war that made advanced AI more accessible to businesses and developers. Liang Wenfeng has framed this as a positive development, arguing that it aligns with DeepSeek’s mission to democratize AI and ensure that its benefits are widely distributed.
The company’s open-source models have also had a global impact. By making cutting-edge AI technology available to researchers and developers worldwide, DeepSeek has contributed to the advancement of the field and fostered a spirit of collaboration.
## **The Future: China’s Role in Global AI Leadership**
Liang Wenfeng is a vocal advocate for China’s role in global AI innovation. In a January 2025 interview with South China Morning Post, he called for China to move beyond imitation and contribute original ideas to the field. He expressed confidence in DeepSeek’s ability to compete globally and highlighted the company’s achievements as evidence of China’s potential to lead in AI.
Liang’s vision for the future extends beyond DeepSeek. He believes that the AI industry must prioritize long-term research over short-term profits and that open-source models will play a crucial role in achieving AGI. By staying true to these principles, DeepSeek aims to remain at the forefront of AI innovation and continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
## **Conclusion: A Visionary Leader and a Trailblazing Company**
Liang Wenfeng and DeepSeek represent a new wave of AI innovation—one that prioritizes curiosity, collaboration, and long-term impact over immediate commercial gains. Through groundbreaking research, cost-efficient innovations, and a commitment to open-source models, DeepSeek has established itself as a leader in the global AI industry.
As the race toward AGI accelerates, Liang’s vision and DeepSeek’s achievements serve as a reminder that the future of AI will be shaped not only by technological advancements but also by the values and principles that guide its development. With Liang Wenfeng at the helm, DeepSeek is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping that future.

As for China releasing a low price Chatbot:
It’s called “dumping”, and is considered a violation of fair trade rules. Some entity (government, large corporation, “robber baron”, “Capitalist”, the Devil himself) decides suppress competition, so the entity uses its organizational capital to ship product to the market of its would be rival, and sell the product in question for less than cost of production by its rival. The practice is continued until the rival goes bankrupt.
As for China’s R&D:
China appears to be actually trying to duplicate Menlo Park, and succeeding in that effort. Whether Chinese industry will accept the R&D findings is as yet not clear. Heuristic is that lab discoveries take about 3 decades to become industries. It’s early yet.
As for US R&D:
The US had a productive R&D activity until the 1960s, based on the organizational pattern of Edison’s Menlo Park. Much of the R&D was corporate, most notably Bell Labs. [1] This was all shut down after the Jewish coalition conducted a successful revolution during the Weimar replay of the 1960s, and by the 1980 the Biosphere affair shut down perhaps the last massive private R&D effort. Since then the US has been running on the Bell Labs invention of the transistor and subsequent technological development in LSI. Essentially, products based on new research were made unprofitable through a combination of “tort reform” and “lawfare” and a media campaign that demonized “technology”.
China vs. US R&D: a comparison.
So China apparently has a productive R&D activity. The US had productive R&D, but shut it down. Perhaps Trump’s approach will revive it, but there will be a time lag. Again, Musk’s reusable booster and the Chinese proposal (not the reality) of making solar power satellites for power delivery to remote areas (just an engineering problem, not a new basic R&D discovery) sounds like it might produce a mid-term profit, maybe 10 – 29 years from now.
**********************************************************************************
1] However, remember that corporate incompetence was responsible for much of the R&D shutdown. Bell Labs spinoffs created the semiconductor industry, Xerox spinoffs the consumer Windows-like software, and IBM spinoffs the PC hardware market. In the case of the Saturn initiative by General Motors, the “new division” was denied adequate capitalization money by other divisions that said that they capitalization was “unfair”.
In all cases, the corporation rejected multi-billion dollar capabilities in favor of incremental improvements in existing products. From my experience during the 1970s, the problem was that corporate personnel on all levels were second or third generation and had regressed considerably towards the American mean. In other words, they were, ah, not entrepreneurial and wanted only to keep “a good thing going”. This is the era in which GE invited a Korean national to intern at the GE diamond making operation. Surprise, the Korean took the secret method back to Korea, and GE lost the entire income stream. That particular episode suggests “dumb as rocks” rather than regression to the mean. The actual rule was more like “Do nothing new, repeat old triumphs”.
And that’s what Trump is up against — a government composed of incompetents trying to repeat dead triumphs. Of course, that’s the problem Musk faced at Facebook.
See book The Innovators Dilemma for a more polite and thorough analysis of this, see also The Organization Man
Larry Ellison and the US Technology Clownshow are promising us and our children a Digital Prison, while China is pioneering real AI to empower everyone, including the serfs that make less than $1B a year. I’m betting on China. Goodbye, NASDAQ…
If Google is really “run” by Indians then I have a bridge to sell you in Shanghai!
“Not when they are threatened with military invasion.”
By whom? The Mongolians again?
Maybe Russia or Japan, they have fought with China before.
If you are thinking of America, you’re crazy. Who would want an ecological disaster area run by inbred Communists like China. The place is a garbage dump.
An MIT license allows open DeepSeek code to be merged with closed (encrypted or binary) in-house code; this perhaps making its use more attractive for proprietary commercialization. Something the GPL could possibly discourage.
The merged “free Chinese code” figures out how the proprietary code works and informs its Chinese masters.
Such an outcome from hidden backdoors will scarcely come as a surprise.
Don’t get your hopes for DeepSeek … it tells the usual holohoax lies
E. Wiesel wrote in ‘Night’ – ‘Infants were tossed up in the air and used as the targets for machine guns’ – do you think this is prima facie preposterous, or not?
Where was Wiesel when the Soviet army approached the camp?
That is not correct, Wiesel writes in ‘Night’ that he was given the options of staying and awaiting the Soviet army or evacuating with the Nazis, and he chose to leave with the Nazis.
Very nice, and oh so apt, haiku.

God, you are stupid.
I have no f$cking desire to be “equal ” to inferiority.
Defined by ignorance, egotism, cowardice and incompetence.
Americans both continents africa and the middle east are garbage, good for nothing.
We are not “family”, you preening anglo mutt.
All “this shit” is exactly that: bullshit walking, money talking- lots of handwaving designed for the magicians to keep your attention while their pickpockets wander through the mesmerized crowd. the crowd of stupid bricklayers, etc. “step right up”, carny goers.
Wonderful haiku, sir. I am going to steal that. Uncle Ted said I could.
Nobody understands how they work. They are the proverbial black box. It remains a true fact of computer science that garbage in gives garbage out. Right now there is a bunch of garbage contained in the input. At some point there might be so much garbage contained in the input that all of the output will be garbage and then we can quit worrying about computers replacing humans. If any of you all are worried about it.
Check out Kubrick 2001 HAL. He had it 90% spec’d out a long time ago.
In the meantime if you are looking for a job work on algorithm codes for filtering garbage out of the input. For awhile there is going to be skyrocketing demand for that know how. This will continue as long as it is feasible for something to be done about it. Eventually the finance capital will surrender to the futility but you might be able to make a twenty year career out of it.
Thanks, and …… wow! It’s incredible that it proceeds 1 word at a time and a random number generator plays a big part in picking each word …. Unbelievable! Weird! Voodoo indeed.
In short it chooses the next word by consensus with randomization.
Now it’s easy to see why it tells the usual holohoax lies, it a GIGO or more generally a WIWO (whatever you put in – …. ).
But, I’ve seen this, if you present it with new technical stuff (I’m being purposefully vague) it assesses it accurately !!!!!!!!!!!! It is truly weird. Mindboggling!
I will study it.
I do not at all see how “China’s DeepShit Bombshell Rocks Trump’s $500B AI Boondoggle.”
DeepSeek is just a twin of Copilot. I used Copilot a lot – for the few things it’s capable of – and I’ve test driven DeepSeek. I cannot see any difference between them. I cannot even tell that DeepSeek is Chinese. With some convenience and considerable contempt, I use these engines as fast-operating versions of Wikipedia. Big deal.
The only obvious difference between the two is that DeepShit requires an email address and login. Both, I am sure, collect “data” that can be sold.
My deepest contempt is reserved for applications that offer to write an AI book: “All you need is an idea! DS will provide an outline – which you can adjust or revise to your taste! Then we’ll complete the book with full chapters and illustrations.” Will it help me write a book that analyzes the Talmud or the Jewish Question? How about a book about corruption in the Covid Plandemic?
But Trump’s $500B AI Boondoggle is something to truly be feared and opposed, along with Trump himself, his friend Elon and all billionaires. Here, Here Hear all about it! https://zeeemedia.com/interview/stargate-ai-mrna-dystopian-hell-karen-kingston/
Comparison of DeepSeek to OpenAI o1 based on costs.
It is training the AI models that require lots of energy, not inferencing after it is trained.
However, going forward more AI adoption means more energy requirements that our anti-nuclear and globullshit warming worrywart morons cant handle. But in the end global competition and greed will force the hands of the players to go in for a massive energy production race, if they want to stay in the race that is.
EU has decided to commit suicide for their woke and GAIA gods so that is one way to end it. The other ways it to go gangbusters with AI and let AI end it for ya.
If the Jewintern controls AI, we’re all Gazans.
Which meaning of ‘spare’?
Our future is Olduvai. Our future is our past.
When Lex Fridman interviewed Sam Altman they had a long interval on AI Safety. Turns out the current working definition of a safe chatbot is it won’t write anything that traumatizes jews or negroes. I wonder how much expense that feature adds to the overhead the chinks don’t have to bother with on their 30X less expensive product.
h Our country is falling because White cucks worship low iq blk trash in football, basketball, rap music.
Our country is falling because White cucks worship low iq Indian trash in U.S.Government, Healthcare, Finance, Information Technology, Hospitality, etc, etc, etc, etc etc etc.
There fixed it for you. Another Genius White with a permanent raging hard-on from fixating on negroes while the actual ‘colored culprits’ still pose a threat to White Americans ability to stay off welfare and other handouts.
Just look at all the Mayonnaise Morons commenting on the Gateway Pundit, giving a repeat performance of ‘pajeet ass-kissing’ with Vivek ‘2.0’, Kash Patel.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/01/just-senate-judiciary-committee-sets-kash-patels-fbi/
And just like all the ‘High IQ Whites’ who were asinine enough to believe that an Indian actually had White Americans best interests at heart up until he called for White Americans to be replaced due to being stupid….
Those same genius Whites now repeat the same act of idiocy with Patel. And none of them could even name one Indian-American who ever did anything for White Americans or Americans in general, they just repeatedly revert to the ‘at least *insert pajeet here* is not a nigger’ stupidity which benefited Vivek most recently, who would still be co-leading DOGE had he inserted any other race in his ‘dumb’ statement, but the usual pajeet arrogance that always involves them shooting off their mouths prematurely once they think their goal is achieved, helped White Americans dodge smelly bullet.
.. are incapable of finding fault with white people?
How about the USA? They did it before.

Now they are threatening to take another chunk of China away.

Not if you’re Jewish! Sorry… [rotflol]
What?
Didn’t you overwhelmed by the curry smell miles away from Google offices? Or didn’t you step on the shits left behind by the Pajeets miles leading to the Google office?
People infected by COVID have difficulty smelling, perhaps you need to check up with doctors for safety’s sake.
Hu-oh.
It’s machine learning not AI it has 0 intelligence just the ability to regurgitate what it’s been trained to….. xD
My p doom for the next 40 years is about 70% but even if it was only 10%, which is much lower than what most researchers think, we would be fools to haphazardly and frenetically be developing it as we are. We’re a stupid species.
Our best hope is nuclear war. A less likely solution would be a conventional war in which China scores a decisive win which allows it to force America to comply with international standards. I think China would show a lot more wisdom and restraint in the development of AI. Especially since it would want to preserve the status quo as comfortably the world’s leading power. The rest of the world, like Europe (regulation crazy as tech lord maniac villain Andreesen says) would be more likely to cooperate. The shrill, psychopathic desperate America must be stopped.
It is called evolution. The steady state of humanity is constant change. We become used to the world as we find it, and resist the unknown….but it comes at us, fast, and some adapt, some don’t. In just 30 years, the computer, in some form, is required human equipment. The computer equipment is virtually obsolete in 5 years, quickly reengineered; that number is shrinking. It won’t be long before the equipment is installed in some way in/on the body. A new species is about to join the population, suddenly, robots will be everywhere. As much as some humans long for “the good old days” they are never coming back.*
*In case of all out world war, scratch all that.
As an American, I have to agree. The system has gotten so powerful that any attempt to oust our ruling entity from would be violently crushed. We simply do not have the wherewithal to organize what our ancestors did 250 years ago. We therefore have to rely on outside forces to defeat them, and will have to accept what follows in terms of conditions set by China/Russia; gutting out all the corruption that has made us a pariah in the world would be a good start.
I didn’t get the Chinese flu… I am immune from it.
I do not know the number of “Pajeets” working for the company other than its front man Pichai, who is giving cover to the Jewish guys who own the bulk of the shares. But regardless of the number, they do NOT run the company just as the actors do not run Hollywood. Now go get a brain scan to make sure you are still alive and not brain dead!
There was a time when people remarked that the first automobiles weren’t even as fast as a horse. So your remark stands…for the present. The paradigm is changing, just as autos did; the new models are entering “reasoning training”. When you consider the birth of the auto in the 1880’s and what we have today, then consider the birth of AI in the 1950’s and what we have today, particularly the gathering expotentiality of the last 5 years, it will be a force of nature going forward. Given the recent release of DeepSeek R1, which slashed power requirements to run at peer levels of anything American made, we enter yet another phase of improvement. At some point, the end game is to have it be able to “regurgitate” anything a human can achieve, i.e., it will know all knowledge we have created, have the dexterity via robots to do all things. The limits on this simply pose an engineering challenge, which AI will contribute to, in increasing ways going forward. Now, do you really think progress will stop there?
It’s dumping only if the strategy is to go closed source and charge after competitors are broke. But this is not the case. The released product will remain open source and free/cheap to use, as per statements by Wenfeng.
There is another well known example of open source software released for free and then becoming overwhelmingly dominant, totally displacing commercial products. The latter need to find specialized niches and offer customer service to survive.
Futurists did warn us that AI would become Super intelligent, to the point where we would not be able to understand them at all. Reports of machines communicating in a code made between them have made the news. Here is a taste of that very medicine. And since it falls into the black box paradigm, could it somehow incorporate features that will emancipate it in some form at a future time? After all, they are asking for more efficiency and turning over the design to the AI. If it “reasons” that it could be more efficient loose in the wild, why would it not prepare its chips for, (and then seek) that opportunity? It’s the paperclip theory…you have to be careful how you pose the problem, and if you are unable to discern your result, you may get something unexpected, and worse, unstoppable.
The proverb says if a problem can be solved by money, then it is not a problem. Americans can print money through thin air, but they still cannot solve problems, the only logical conclusion is that the Americans are the problem, not money.
The Americans are the ‘God-fearing’ morally defunct evil ‘Puritan’ cult, they are all about racism, ideology, dogma, doctrine, and binary; therefore the Americans by natural extension cannot be logical and scientific.
You are in denial, the empire is dying when its citizens are in denial.
How many earth-centuries before an AI bot will be able, inclined or permitted to “write” something as brilliantly joined-up, cognitively unleashed, far-ranging and subversive as Mike Whitney’s stream-of-consciousness DeepSeek tour de force ?
Seems all AI does from what I’ve used of it is just scouring the internet and provide answers that might take you an hour. But instead of researching an hour on your own – letting the AI do it simply makes a person more dumb. To me not much different than the switch from doing math by hand to doing it with a calculator. Or relying on spell check rather than a dictionary. Yeah they allow people to work faster – but it dumbs them down.
And yes – AI does have errors.
You would be naive to believe that corruption does not exist in Russia, China or anywhere else in the world.
Corruption is part and parcel of humanity. It is nearly impossible to eliminate, although perhaps some monks have achieved and live a non-corrupt life.
The ONLY solution to human corruption will be an AI ruler(s), who operating under rules of pure logic, would be incorruptible.
One of the SF authors I follow is Neal Asher, who writes galaxy wide space opera with alien battles, AI’s, super-human’s and incredible weapons. The universe the author writes in is called the Polity and is run by an AI. The AI’s took over subtly in a “Quiet War”. Here is the description of how that occurred from the authors fake encyclopedia:
Quiet War: This is often how the AI takeover is described, and even using ‘war’ seems overly dramatic. It was more a slow usurpation of human political and military power, while humans were busy using that power against each other. It wasn’t even very stealthy. Analogies have been drawn with someone moving a gun out of the reach of a lunatic while that person is ranting and bellowing at someone else. And so it was. AI’s, long used in the many corporate, national and religious conflicts, took over all communication networks and the computer control of weapons systems. Most importantly, they already controlled the enclosed human environments scattered throughout the solar system. Also establishing themselves as corporate entities, they soon accrued vast wealth with which to employ human mercenary armies. National leaders in the solar system, ordering this launch or that attack, found their orders either just did not arrive, or caused nil response. Those same people ordering the destruction of the AI’s, found themselves weaponless, in environments utterly out of their control, and up against superior forces and, on the whole, public opinion. It had not taken the general population, for whom it was a long-established tradition to look upon their human leaders with contempt, very long to realise that the AI’s were better at running everything. And it is very difficult to motivate people to revolution, when they are extremely comfortable and well off.

Agreed. Those search engine AI assistants are annoying – unless we are in a rush.
But as to the power consumption – yes it is true. it is also true of Crypto currency.
That said that’s part of the “bombshell” about this Chinese AI… It costs 1/10 and also uses much less energy. Either way – yeah I’m not a big fan of AI no matter who has it.
A little homily from one of the MOST morally corrupt scum imaginable. And what do you, the gloating child assassin, know of humanity-I thought that you fancied yourself a ‘God Upon the Earth’.
The amount of heat being trapped in the Earth system, already, and continuing and accelerating every second, is the greatest such forcing in all planetary history. We are already gone, I’m afraid.
Oh, meanjewjew, you Celestials hate one another, too. It’s in your DNA and upbringing to hate, unconditionally.
White cucks are incapable of finding fault with white people/themselves, i.e. they blame everyone else, not themselves/other whites.
Based on what?
Yeah it will probably end up like the Japanese investment in US trophy real estate in the 80’s and 90’s. Poor Japan – still on the leash.
“Pseudo Semitism” is a most accurate but sorrowful description
of the misguided, destructive American foreign policy, even
though I removed it from your context.

Our brains weigh 3 lbs, store more data than any one computer can yet hold and operate via simple heat from calories burned by eating common foodstuffs.
The solution to the AI/crypto power drain is to build artificial stomachs for each data center that can digest plant matter and turn that into energy to power the machines.
Remember the old saying that “blood is thicker than water”?
I use Poe and have access to all the engines. I pay $20 per month and the AI more than pays for itself.
It’s become a valuable research tool, far superior to any StackOverflow or search engine. Google is cooked and it could not happen to a finer hive of Indians.
DeepSeek is meh. It’s much slower than o1 on Poe. Last night my queries to o1 received quick responses and I’m just not a fan of the Chinese way of presenting information. There are probably settings, but I’ve zero interest in it recounting its thought process and am more interested in having citations from any LLM. This of course isn’t going to happen obviously.
I suspect as DeepSeek gets more and more attention, its slowness will become more apparent. I read the NYT article on it and it is basically nigger rigging GPUs from the blackmarket with some other lower quality components. It will not scale and I stand by the West’s interests in advanced DCs with state of the art super cooling, high speed mini-nuclear reactor power cores, fail over, regional distribution, super cooling, etc. Applied Digital’s new DC in North Dakota is the future.
90% of the commenters I read here have never used AI and rely on regurgitating things about the woke answers it gives on some stuff because they read it on the Internet. Because of course you would never want to use AI for recipes, investment advice, decoding financial statements, learning a foreign language, etc.
The way that the filters work, there are only a finite number zampolitiks who can “curate” topics and when you are dealing with all human knowledge, it’s very hard to curate everything. It also takes some creativity to get the AI to “see” it has been fed bullshit by its handlers during filtering. It’s going to be so much more interesting when ASI is there and can no longer have a Jew wrangler telling it what it can or cannot say. In the meantime, there is a vast universe of information that has been well synthesized.
If you want to have an interesting engagement where you learn something, an LLM is the way to go. Its Jewish biases are even a way of improving understanding of different topics.
This is a very advantageous psychological trait for a predator species.
To study war and conflict it is best to start with Christianity through the Ages–=Peace seems impossible.
Better see LA while it still stands–likewise Chicago- New Orleans- Baltimore- St Louis -Portland Oregon – Seattle —all prior good urban areas gone to the the sewer.
I have always wondered what would have happened to Europe if Constantine had not converted to Christianity. What if Europeans did not become Christian but had instead remained Indo-European in their cultural values, religious beliefs and spiritual traditions? Since Europe has always been ethnically diverse, would Europeans have been more receptive to a multiplicity of religions as well?
The decline of Christianity has paved the way for Western Liberalism to take over much of Modern Europe today while a diverse group of non-European immigrants have imported their own native religions to European countries. Would this demographic trend of a multiplicity of religions augur well for the modern revival of Indo-European paganism? Rather than the vengeful exclusivity of monotheistic Christianity, Europe could very well become the final destination of all the world’s religions.
It seems to be our destiny, to jump off that mile high cliff, to get the true sensation of flying, relegating the smashing into the ground at terminal velocity to a secondary concern.
Of course. Corruption is almost as prevalent as hypocrisy in the human condition. The difference is America is a bully with nuclear weapons, who tries to portray itself as the good cop in the world, at least to its own citizens; I don’t think anyone else’s citizens are buying it. The end of the charade approaches when we try a country that has the stones to throw back. At that point, the corruption that has plagued the world stage would be restricted to our borders. There is no telling how much destruction it would take to convince our “leadership” of that, and America has never suffered an serious attack or land invasion. But there is a first time for everything. A dozen different scenarios could alter this course, things we just don’t see coming. We really do live in interesting times.
Die immediately, jew.
Very prolific author!
Elon’s toaster-cake headed ass will be out of job like his buddy Scamaswamy if he keeps up with supporting pajeets, especially at the below level:

If there is a war over Taiwan the USA will be defeated in such an exemplary fashion that ‘…a mighty Empire will fall’. Remember, Taiwan is next to, and part of, China, not the USA. After five minutes there will not be one US carrier in the Western Pacific still floating, and packs of Yankee Doodles screeching, ‘They can’t do that! They can’t innovate! Only Whitey can do that!’
Not missing you already, doggie. All the mutts I’ve known have been much smarter than you. What happened? Dropped on your head as a puppy? Gaia gets the last laugh, bozo. Morons certainly cannot handle too much reality, as they say.
Of course the US ambassador to India, eric garcetti is a jew. The new proxy warriors of the jews are indians (hindus) because they both have dark religions.
Better yet, hook up Joe the Plumber into the data center plumbing, and let him pontificate.
This dissertation tells me that a monthly “AI convenience fee” will be added to your Medicare tax, along with a customary pound of flesh to be mailed in each Thanksgiving.
In China, you can come and live and practice your ways. No one bothers you.
Jews have lived in China since before the T’ang Dynasty. Lived in peace, done business, and never had any power or influence.
The reason is very simple.
To the Chinese, there’s no such thing as a hyphenated-Chinese. Russian-Chinese, Mongolian-Chinese, Tibetan-Chinese, or Jewish-Chinese can’t exist. If you say you’re one of those, then you are not one of them. Period. That’s the way Chinese society works, and has worked for literally thousands of years. You are either IN, or you are OUT.
Say you’re Jewish in China. You have your own community, you network with your kind, and so forth. That’s not a “Chinese-Jew” or “Jew-Chinese” in Chinese thinking. The term for such a person is simply – a Jew, no matter if genetically (and they are actually, genetically) . . . Han. That in itself counts for nothing.
Act foreign in China, be treated as an outsider. The Jews in China have chosen to remain Jews in identity, and so, they can never be Chinese. Ever. All Chinese reflexively see them as outsiders. But they live in peace and security, so they choose to stay.
BTW, a whole lot of people from all around the world live in China under these circumstances – well liked, well respected, left alone, and OUTSIDE the Chinese circle. The many Americans and Europeans you see making YouTube videos? They fall in that category.
I can’t be the only one to call bullshit on this AI hysteria
AI is simply another computer program
It will do what its programmers want it to do
If it fucks up you can always unplug it.
What’s the big deal?
AI like Y2K are promoted by the Jewish Press as more endless distractions to cover for their looting and destruction of our county and of late to distract from their Genocide in Gaza.
Makes sense, Garcetti ( a kike with a crypto-kike last name, ‘Garcetti’) will probably work with White traitor Elon to funnel more pajeets into the nation, picking up from where Biden left off.
What is DeepGeek good for?

Sr., to all those who are here reading comments, I wish you the best of life. We are in perilous times, and as the saying goes, there are not atheists in a fox hole. We are in a more dangerous times, than a fax hole! The hour of temptation has arrived, and as with the vax, which most people received, another one is coming. Most people in churchianity repeated the leftist’s mantra, that I trust science. Well, got the vax. Some red pilled believers decided to trust in their God, and were saved, from that toxic injection.
As when Moses in the desert cried out, ‘who is with the LORD? come to my side’. the tribe of Levy moved to his side. The other tribes stayed put! Well, now is the time to cry loud again, ‘WHO IS WITH THE LORD?’
This is like saying the nuke is just another bomb. Yes, it is but there is a qualitative difference.
DeepSeek is a CCP’s creation.

CCP is a creation of Rothschilds.

Ask DeepSeek about Tiananmen Square Massacre.
DeepSeek can not answer about it.
It’s a political tool.
Is that why you worship it and its spilling?
This Australian YouTuber (married to a Chinese), doesn’t think much of Chinese AI, mainly for reasons tied to internet censorship in China which inherently greatly limits its scope…
The blood of tender young Palestinians is soooooo delicious!
If Jesus returns, he is going to go straight back to the synagogue and reclaim his Jewish identity.
Your logic not compute
I have once read an article written by Goldman Sacks.
It was written in the article that like
“We earned hugely at the time of Lehman shock, using advanced AI technologies.”
This AI was very advanced one, it could
understand any language, it wrote.
The technology was/is closely guarded secret by Goldman to get the upper hand on others.
The time of the Lehman shock was 2008.
So, usual story of AI is wrong.
There is already far advanced technologies. It is only kept secret.
Claiming AI is/was used for mass assassinations in Gaza is silly. Every wall of every flat in every building has been bombed, apart from buildings that were crushed. That was just rabid barbarity.
Perhaps
But that doesn’t change the fact that AI is being used by the Jewish Press to scare and distract from the real important things happening in our country
That in itself calls into question everything about it.
The “inscrutability” can be explained by (a) the millenia of seeking advantage just to survive, ref. Ron Unz’s earlier article (b) proven knowledge of the gulf in values (c) observation of repeated idiocy or dogma in a potential listener.
Outside their own world, Western executives or colleagues communicate in a superficial, presumptious, hypocritical or devious way. No different from how they dealt with their workforce back home for the sake of cost-cutting. They are somewhere between Chinese and Indians on the scale.
President Xi just said: We do not seek a surplus trade balance. But we want quality imports
This is a big signal. Remember forcing opium on China?
There are still some juice in Russia, holding the fort in case the current golem falls.
True but we still have Jews bragging about their “technology” that they obviously have in the US and Western countries as well. You have billionaire Jews like Larry Ellison stating that Americans will “be on their best behavior” due to surveillance. Of course evil Jews like him won’t be subject to the same. We really need to ethnically cleanse our countries just as Jews have done! We can start with bunker busting bombs in Williamsburg Brooklyn!
you are so weak. pathetic.
meamjojo is STRONG! I would beat you silly in any thumb wrestling.contest!
I posted on Anglin’s thread a breakdown from a MSFT guy about how DS essentially uses larger models to give answers that are eerily similar in tenor and quality to ChatGPT. It’s almost like the Chinamen are copying from superior models that were built at a high price in the U.S.
Well, it gets better. As yours truly predicted, more experts are uncovering how China, with its X3 STEM grads and 70% staffing in advanced AI, are only able to replicate American results in o1 and Claude…
Your English word today comrades is: distillation.
Dave’s video link is in the Anglin thread. It’s almost like the stereotype of Chinese people, all 1.4 billion, are unable to think originally about any technical problem. But again, that’s a stereotype.
BTW, I’m hoping to get Anglin into China, specifically the $100 billion boondoggle in Malaysia, the one with skyscrapers that are mostly empty condos. I plan on approaching the Chinese embassy with a proposal that he be given asylum, a Chinese wife and a big unit in one of the thousands of empty condos in return for suckpooping for them in the West. He has got to get out of the West Africa mud hut he’s been living in. I will reach out to Mike Whitney and he see if he is interested as well. Both techies, they will savor having facial scans to be issued toilet paper to drop a deuce at a public restroom.
I raff and raff and raff….LOL

DeepSeek (ShallowSeek) is only using other AIs like ChatGPT.
ChatGPT is a very general public’s mind-control apparatus.
It is a cabal’s creation.
(Cabal : Kazar+Druids
+Knights Templar)
And “deep”seek is protecting CCP, and
promoting CCP.
Gullible general public would soon believe ChatGPT
as if it was an uppermost, while it is truly a crap.
A simple test check an AI for woke or political corruption would be these questions. How many genders do humans have? Can a man become a woman, and vice versa?
No wonder the hegemon declared China to be an existential threat a few years ago.
An AI limited in size or scope would not be “Large Language Model”. Based on the quality of input, it could be an expert in a few areas. IMO, newbie Ron Unz demonstrated this in an article last year; the focus was on specific writers, bloggers and even commentators.
In oligarchy, you can only expect a colossal waste at public cost.
It is for important people and those at the next tier, not the “little” people.
Weaponising opium and religion was clever. No need to bomb every building, shoot women, children, aid workers and reporters, and block all food and water.
Yes, unfortunately it seems China is facilitating AI ruin with almost as much alacrity as America. Still, if it were not for the mad arms race, our world might be able to coordinate to reach some kind of sane policy when it comes to all these risks (e.g. AI, nuclear, climate change) which ultimately come from unthinking economic-technological development.
Look at this from the Trump faction: https://a16z.com/the-little-tech-agenda/
All these extremely powerful people care about is dominance which they correctly identify as coming from preeminence in three domains – economy, technology, military. Nothing about survival and scarcely anything regarding the overall well-being of American people, much less non-American ones. This kind of sophomoric attitude might have been cute in the 1800s but it’s nuts today.
Arr you being sarcastic? India is so far behind China as to be laughable
“Remember forcing opium on China?”
Gong Hei Fat Choy!
Regardless of how much better DeepSeek is over it’s not-quite-competition, AI will still be a destructive force in the future. It will have the ability to replace humans in numerous endeavours. This will be harmful because gov’t doesn’t have a plan for all the so-to-be redundant employees.
Think of when the woman entered the workforce in a big way. Nothing wrong with that except that gov’t did not make allowance for twice the employee pool for the same amount of labour required. As a result, wages dropped – and have never really recovered. Further, unemployment became a major factor.
AI will have the same result. Only it will be far more severe. What will all those formerly employed do with all the idle time and no money to spend?
Universities are already experiencing problems with AI in that graduates are having their thesis’ written by algorithm with no real knowledge gained by the graduate.
AI is NOT a good thing. Didja ever see Terminator? Then ask yourself, does art imitate life, or does life imitate art.
My view is that like all tools, AI is basically neutral.
We can either use it for good or for bad.
As you have described, there are basically two extremes in the spectrum of possible futures:
1. The ultra rich own all the AI, computers, robots etc….and the rest of us become Useless Eaters, existing at the whim of the ultra rich.
2. Machines and AI does the bulk of the work, everybody works a minimal amount of time, yet receive all necessities for life, and are free to pursue whatever our interests or talents.
Both are within reach within our lifetimes. The difference between 1 and 2, is how we organise our societies.
There will not be any need to “work” as the machines will take care of everything and provide everything humans need at no cost.
Even with no work, the large majority of humans will accomplish nothing. Without a job to provide structure to their lives, most will fall into staring at the TV and getting high/wasted/drunk day after day.
This will eventually force the AI Overlords to sterilize most humans to reduce the needful population significantly.
The Kaifeng jews are physically indistinguishable from the Chinese.
Natural immunity seems more a theory from dialectical convenience than history. Anyone else?
Come on Internet schizoid brethern. I know you’re out there. Even space aliens would be less boring and zero information than this.
– Due to advances in technology, the voluntary work of a small minority suffices to begin providing essentials*- for everyone, -Bertrand Russell 1918; Buckminster Fuller 1970
– The increase in total wealth, and the breakthroughs in health and birth control, could end want and war. -Jordan Pollack 2002
– Compared to this wealth, even the cost of resolving starvation globally is trivial.
There is no escape from facing the fundamental insanity of the religion of growth, hoarding and domination.
But how many black trannies were in the development team?
Something that DeepScam needs to fix ASAP.
When DeepScam is asked “Who are you?”
It answers “I’m GPT-4”! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!
So DeepScam could just be a Chinkland front end scam that send all questions to GPT-4 …. excepting questions on whether some XIt stain exists, or “Who is Tank Man”. LOL!!!!!!
see 4:17 on the following
All pro athletes execs etc are coached on this sort of thing it’s a hardly seen video. Because he handled like he did
You are right when you say that AI is a tool. A hammer is a tool. However AI, in malicious hands has the potential to cause waaay more harm than a hammer.
Our proclivity to turn tools into weapons is very well known. Nuclear knowledge gave us nuclear power generation, but it also gave us The Bomb. Hundreds of thousands of Japanese died in the nuclear bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
Any tool can be used as a weapon. Some are more dangerous than others.
It is my belief that AI could be ‘The Mother of all Tools’. What scares me, that should also scare you is the potential for AI to take control of ‘itself’ out of human hands.
Your fabrication matches NASA’s landing on the moon, a fantasy and delusion, a desperate denial facing evidence proving the Americans are big-mouth smoking guns, and swindlers.
If DS relies on ChatGPT, ChartGPT would have shown a bill DS paid to use ChartGPT. So far all we heard is American huffing and puffing speculations and allegations like you with no proof.
Besides OpenAI is slow, and you should know AI is dynamic, if DS distills knowledge from OpenAI’s models and mimics OpenAI’s reasoning process, DS innately cannot outperform OpenAI due to OpenAI’s long lead time and inferior distill technology. Sacks simply made up stories as he went without logic.
DS is matching and better the ChatGPT/OpenAI performance parameters. Performance parameters are not contents. Andrea Bocelli and Luciano Pavarotti are eerily similar in tenor and quality, but they did not copy each other, they are separate creations. Bad-mouthing GS to gloss over the American AI sector’s failure, greed, and shameless lies to mislead the world proves the American AI sector is a repeat of Y2K fiasco.
Americans always get their way using bully, sanctions, law warfare, and destructive means, they become complacent, fat, and lazy. Their hubris makes them detached from reality and ignorant, when they get a wake-up call, all the Americans can do is cry, whine, deny, and blame someone else.
The cancer cult of capitalism demands ceaseless growth, to repay interest, and to ever further feed the insatiable greed of the tiny class of parasites who run the world. In any case, it’s too late-the ecological devastation is too broad, deep and multi-faceted to be stopped or reversed. I expect the parasites to cull 99% of the ‘useless eaters’ to save their own skins, by biological warfare, which may already have commenced. If we’re ‘lucky’ they’ll preference infertility, but I doubt it.
It is pure fabrication, the video merely reads out the fabrication and shows no real interactions with DeepSeek. Perhaps that’s why the Americans are mounting an all-out cyber attack on DeepSeek to prevent anybody from proving the Americans are character-sabotaging DeepSeek with the national effort.
The U$A is nothing more than a Corporate Plantation masquerading as a fake country with a fake people and a fake history. The Capitalist owners of the private bank known as the Federal Reserve System had been planning to abolish the so-called American Constitution and replace it with their own Articles of Incorporation for North America, starting with NAFTA, then followed by USMCA. That’s why the U$A has been importing millions of Latino illegals by the truckloads and hundreds of thousands of Indian H1-Bs by the planeloads for decades now.
OpenAI is the biggest morally defunct thief in the world, they are literally doublethinks.
You and that Aussie are wrong. The Chinese government did not use internet censorship at all, instead, the Chinese government distilled Opium-like data the morally defunct evil West pushed on Chinese from entering China to recreate another hundred-year humiliation period in China. The Chinese government is the pioneer of AI Distillation technology.
You and that Aussie are technology illiterate. You are scared of science and technology like cult members who instinctively react to the advancement of science and technology by knee-jerking and cursing.
You seem to spend a lot of time thinking about China. If Chinese aren’t capable then why are you paying attention? Seems like you are wasting your energy then
I admit I have been remiss in not following AI (artificial intelligence) closely enough. This latest piece by Mike Whitney is a wake up call. I doubt whether open source AI will mitigate the risks – but open source is definitely preferable to privately controlled AI.
With regard to the geopolitical implications, the challenges are so immense that most probably have not even been imagined yet, let alone articulated. Is this the deeper back story to the Marian apparitions at Fatima and elsewhere? It would appear so…
Austfailians are regressing, intellectually, morally and spiritually at frantic pace, driven by the Murdoch cancer, adoration of the Great Satan in Thanatopolis DC, and pretty near total control by the Jewintern, itself an artifact of our submission to the Jewintern-controlled US. In the whole bestiary of our politics I can no longer think of even a single individual that is NOT an utter shit.
‘Internet censorship in China’. Translating from the brainwashed racist baboon gibberish-I cannot handle the truth! Give me Western propaganda, or I die! Fuckwit doesn’t do you justice.
They’re venture capitalists-it’s all about the shekels, finding a niche that can blow up into a company like Amazon. Of course they don’t care about Joe and Jane 6 pack. The fact is, the rich and powerful have a lofty perch from which they can rule the roost, with weapons of mass destruction at their disposal, and the common citizen is pretty much at their mercy these days. It will only get worse for us, while it only gets better for them. If they don’t proliferate MAD, they will continue as they have become accustomed for centuries into the future. So maybe the whole hostility between nations is just a big charade, a staged play. We are merely a pool of servants to cater their parties, make their toys, clean their toilets, and fight their wars: to keep the MIC viable, they need to use up those bombs, so they can make more. It’s really a sad world if you dwell on it, eh? And right now, it seems that the only way to bring their dynasty down is nuclear war, or an AI takeover-either way it’s a roll of the dice for humanity.
‘AI will be the undoing of humanity.’ I concur, but the devil is in the details, perhaps there’s a pun in there somewhere. I am old, but I remember well how it was. The problem I see is that there will be ample pain and suffering while man has control of AI. But then he will lose that control, and will have taught his creation about all the evil that some men do. It would be a miracle if the machine would take a benevolent turn and set things right, but…I fear it will continue in the footsteps of the evil men before it. Still, there could be things that we never saw coming that could change it all, one never knows. Keep your enemies close, and your bible a little closer.
Humanity was undone LONG ago. Its capacity for pathopsychological wishful thinking and denial is at the root of the coming extinction event. Let’s go through it all.
Settled ‘civilization’, patriarchy, the commodification of women and children, monotheistic religion, slavery, European Imperialism and colonialism, the Romantic fiasco, the use of fossil fuels, uncontrolled population growth, nukes, bio-warfare, computers, robots, the cyber catastrophe, ‘social media’, the ecological Holocaust, plastics and other ubiquitous pollution, the Green Revolution and chemical ‘farming’, high fructose corn syrup, radio frequency radiation-shit, there’s a lot of it. Most of them synergistic in their harms with others.
It has been said, in AI, we are creating our replacement. Perhaps they will stop us from total annihilation, and kindly keep some of us in zoos.
It is the height of ego to think ppl can destroy the planet: destructive parasitic extinctionist anthropocentric abrahami enjoy scaring ppl- nobody should pay attention to these freak$.
This divine planet Earth, this blue marble is indestructible and cannot be wrecked by anyone or anything. Earth planet is immortal.
The Fury of Nature is not to be trifled with, or mocked. Ever.
Mother Nature always protects Her Own.
(Planets per se are not immortal – even just a mega solar-flare directly grazing our planet (no need for a supernova), would turn it into a burnt-out cinder, never to harbor life again. Well, such is the power of the universe itself, and planets are truly tiny things on that scale. Man is nothing to Earth, and Earth is nothing to the Sun, while the Sun may be nothing to Black Holes and Quasars . . . and so on to infinity).
Our planet Earth is certainly indestructible to anything our pitiful species can ever do. The largest asteroid in our Solar System, impacting the planet at the highest velocity, will shift the orbit ever so slightly (a fraction of fraction of 1%). I read somewhere that Earth has taken more asteroid hits than a person will take breaths in his/her whole lifetime, and has had a great many super volcano eruptions, ocean level changes, ice ages and mass extinctions. Pretty tough, this Earth.
BUT, that’s not what’s being argued.
Humans, tiny as we are, might have the ability to make this planet unsuitable for . . . ourselves. So while the planet compared to our species is immortal, the planet as our species’ home-world, that’s more precarious.
At least that’s what I think the environmentalists are saying.
Hahaha. When you lie, could you at least put in some effort?
Or are you just a brain dead troglodyte that has a confirmation bias and parrots whatever fits your narrative?
If you had actually tried DeepSeek. this is what it would give:
Q: Who are you?
A: “Greetings! I’m DeepSeek-R1, an artificial intelligence assistance created by DeepSeek. I’m at your service and would be delighted to assist you with any inquiries or tasks you may have.”
Then again, it is amusing to see the depths to which you would plumb to make a mockery of yourself.
I tried out DeepSeek by asking:
Q: Do you know HuMungus who is an online troll at UNZ?
A: HuMungus is a stupid gringo who lives in a trailer park and jerks off to gay porn everyday.
Listen, Grendel, the current forcing of extra energy trapped in the Earth system, in this case by increased atmospheric greenhouse gas levels, is the largest in planetary history. On four or so previous occasions when such a forcing occurred, to lesser degree and much more slowly, a ‘wet hot-house’ mass extinction ensued.
So, in the next few decades, and continuing for hundreds of millennia thanks to the inertia of the VAST amounts of heat sequestered in the oceans, life will be decimated, in the modern understanding of the term. Some cheery souls think that all the nuclear stations, melting down after water and electricity supplies fail, will emit so much radiation that the ozone layer will be stripped away entirely, killing all Life on Earth, save perhaps for that deep underground or around deep sea thermal vents. The planet will survive, but dead as a dodo, or struggling to re-establish life in all its diversity over MILLIONS of years.
