Thanks. I think it likely that is the intent of many of Trump’s EOs. With the ultimate goal being Supreme Court decisions. I think he may have overstated his point but I also think it is true that segregation and no welfare handouts were a big factor in controlling black behavior even in schools making those schools better. The black schools prior to 1970 were generally much different than the integrated schools of today where blacks are allowed to do whatever they want and there is zero discipline and many graduate totally illiterate. The schools back then were a reflection of the culture at the time where black behavior was not tolerated and they had a certain fear about them which is needed to control them.

At any rate, blacks across the board generally did much better in their own schools but that was due to a combination of factors. I wonder if a lot of people notice that black women are very aggressive and angry especially after being empowered by gender and race nonsense? You make an accurate point. I attended a public magnet high school, with an “honors” level of teaching, in Detroit in the mid 1960’s. It was 50% black, and 48% white, of which around 20% of white was Jew. As you might expect, several factors played into that. Everybody had a nearby “neighborhood” high school they could attend, but went there, instead (it had 36 curriculae – everything from performing arts to air conditioning and refrigeration, to architedtural & design technology, commercial art, and a science & arts curriculum with college level science and English classes.) This PUBLIC school was downtown and short of a ride in, you rode a city bus to get there, all on your own. The colored kids generally lived closer to school (shorter trip in for most) and many of the Jew kids and some whites had to board 3 separate city busses to get there. Most important was the reason you went through all that to go there. It’s CULTURE! I know it, and I saw it.

It’s ignorant to assume that all whites (and all whatever else) have households with identical priorities. In my own lily white neighborhood, there were homes where education of the kids was lower ranked than other things. It had little to do with intellect, too. I saw intellectually “limited” kids (genetics? I don’t know, you don’t know) go somewhere because they had a sense of “it ain’t gonna be given to me.” They had a tougher time in school, but figured, oh well, nothing I can do except try harder, spend less time shooting baskets, spend less time goofing off with my friends. Babies aren’t born with those drives. They derive them from parents or other adults they are regularly exposed to – generally, in the home.

Although myself apparently way smarter than average (double promoted twice in elementary school – which was apparently based on an “IQ” type test we took) I was “surprised” to find colored kids from poorer neighborhoods of similar public school background quite a bit smarter than me in that high school. And the less “sharp” coloreds were way more driven to succeed in school than many/most of the whites I grew up with.

Your intelligence doesn’t tell you there ‘is trouble outside’, that is obviously your conditioning. You’re confusing memory with perception. Your memory associates a certain sound with gunshots, certain sounds with police car sirens, certain lights with police car lights. This should be self evident. Simply imagine someone from a hunter gatherer tribe who had never heard a police siren and never seen police car lights and had never heard gunshots. Obviously they would interpret all the sounds and lights completely differently, because they have been conditioned in a different way, their memory is different.

Concerning your other example, as I said, there may be something measurable which has predictive value. However, in your example, you should be open to the possibility that the brilliant student is perceiving in real time some very subtle relationships between abstractions (in this case number). So, far from proving you right even your final example is proof that intelligence is a perception.

However that may be, I think I’ve proven to any objective observer that your own reactions and examples are illustrations of the way a person’s conditioning affects their response to a challenge, in this case an intellectual challenge. A good example of black incompetence is that of ESKOM, South Africa’s electricity provider. I always try to go with the experts in slander, spin and cognitive distortions from their own negativity bias. I suppose you could say that we did, in setting up a Constitutional form of government. It seems to me it could be justified under the general welfare clause, although if you want specifics on how they actually justified it, you’ll have to do your own research. I’m not sufficiently interested in the question to do it for you. Certainly the state has interests. How it chooses to enforce them is less important than the fact of their existence, and the fact that everyone concedes that the state’s interests can sometimes outweigh the individual (or “natural”) rights of its citizens. I think its uncontroversial that the purpose of government in a technological society is conceded to be the promotion of an orderly environment in which all may “prosper”. Whether forcing integration of society by race and sex is a way of getting there or not is for the technocrats to decide.

Jeremy Bentham, the philosopher of utilitarianism, argued persuasively against the idea that there are such things as “natural rights”. His essay is titled Anarchical Fallacies, and you might want to check it out. He considers natural rights absurd; “nonsense upon stilts”. For Bentham, only society as a whole has rights, not individuals, who only have the rights that society grants them. Society should seek “the greatest happiness for the greatest number”.

Modern technological society is inexorably moving away from the idea of natural rights of individuals — the idea upon which the USA was founded — and toward this utilitarian conception. Discrete human races and sexes are natural, but the technological system generally seeks to replace anything natural with an artificial construct of its own, and so it encourages racial mongrelization and sexual confusion.
