Trump’s actions were neither ‘spur of the moment’, nor whimsical. The ‘tariff solution’ had been pre-prepared by his team over years.

The Trump ‘shock’ – his ‘de-centring’ of America from serving as pivot to the post-war ‘order’ via the dollar – has triggered a deep cleavage between those who gained huge benefit from the status quo, on the one hand; and on the other, the MAGA faction who have come to regard the status quo as inimical – even an existential threat – to U.S. interests. The sides have descended into bitter, accusatory polarisation.

It is one of the ironies of the moment that President Trump and right-wing Republicans have insisted on decrying – as a “resource curse” – the benefits of the Reserve Currency status that precisely brought the U.S. the wave of inward global savings that has permitted the U.S. to enjoy the unique privilege of printing money, without adverse consequence: Until now that is! Debt levels finally matter, it seems, even for the Leviathan.

Vice-President Vance now likens the Reserve Currency to a “parasite” that has eaten away the substance of its ‘host’ – the U.S. economy – by forcing an overvalued dollar.

Just to be clear, President Trump believed there was no choice: Either he could upend the existing paradigm, at the cost of considerable pain for many of those dependent on the financialised system, or he could allow events to wend their way towards an inevitable U.S. economic collapse. Even those who understood the dilemma the U.S. faces, nonetheless have been somewhat shocked by the self-serving brazenness of him simply ‘tariffing the world’.

Trump’s actions, (as many claim), were neither ‘spur of the moment’, nor whimsical. The ‘tariff solution’ had been pre-prepared by his team over recent years, and formed an integral part to a more complex framework – one that complemented the debt-reduction and revenue effects of tariffs, by a programme to coerce the repatriation of vanished manufacturing industry back to America.

Trump’s is a gamble that may, or may not, succeed: It risks a bigger financial crisis, as financial markets are over-leveraged and fragile. But what is clear is that the de-centring of America that will follow from his crude threats and humiliation of world leaders ultimately will cause a counter-reaction both for relations with the U.S., and also in global willingness to continue to hold U.S. assets (such as U.S. Treasuries). China’s defiance of Trump will set a ‘tone’, even for those who lack China’s ‘heft’.

Why then should Trump take such a risk? Because, behind Trump’s boldfaced actions, notes Simplicius, lies a harsh reality facing many MAGA supporters:

“it remains inarguable that the American workforce has been gutted by the triple threat of mass migration; general worker anomie as consequence of cultural decay – and in particular, by the mass alienation and disenfranchisement of conservatively-minded men. These have been strongly contributing factors to the current crisis of doubt about the ability of ‘American manufacturing’ to ever return to a semblance of its previous glory, no matter how big an axe Trump takes to the stricken ‘World Order’”.

Trump is mounting a Revolution in order to invert this reality – an end to the American anomie – by (Trump hopes) bringing back U.S. industry.

There is a current of western public opinion – “by no means limited to intellectuals”, nor to Americans alone – that despairs of their own country’s ‘lack of will’, or its inability to do what needs to be done – its fecklessness and its ‘crisis of competence’. These people hanker for a leadership believed to be tougher and more decisive – a longing for unconstrained power and ruthlessness.

One highly-placed Trump supporter puts it quite brutally:

“We are now at a very important inflection point. If we are going to face ‘The Big Ugly’ with China, we cannot afford divided loyalties … It’s time to get mean, brutally, harshly mean. Delicate sensibilities must be dispatched like a feather in a hurricane”.

It is no surprise that, against the general context of western nihilism, a mindset that admires power and ruthless technocratic solutions – almost ruthlessness for its own sake – could take hold. Take note – we are all in for a turbulent future.

The West’s economic unravelling has been made more complicated by Trump’s often contradictory statements. It may be a part to his repertoire; yet nonetheless, the haphazardness evokes the thought that nothing is trustworthy; nothing is constant.

It has been reported by ‘White House insiders’ that Trump has lost all inhibition when it comes to bold action: “He’s at the peak of just not giving a f**k anymore”, a White House official familiar with Trump’s thinking told the Washington Post:

“Bad news stories? He doesn’t give a f**k. He’s going to do what he’s going to do. He’s going to do what he promised to do on the campaign trail”.

When some portion of a country’s population despairs of their own country’s “lack of will” or inability to “do what needs to be done”, Aurelian argues, they begin, from time to time, to identify emotionally with ‘Another Country’, believed to be tougher and more decisive. In this particular moment, “the mantle” of being “some sort of Nietzschean super-hero – beyond considerations of good and evil” … “landed upon Israel” – at least for an influential layer of both the U.S. and European policy-makers. Aurelian continues,

“Israel, whose combination of a superficially western-style society with audacity, ruthlessness and a total disregard for international law and human life, was exciting to many and has become a model for emulation. Western support for Israel in Gaza makes much more sense when you realise that western politicians, and parts of the intellectual class, secretly admire the ruthlessness and brutality of Israel’s war”.

Yet, despite the disruption and the pain caused by the U.S. ‘turn’, it nonetheless represents a huge opportunity too – an opportunity to shift to an alternate societal paradigm beyond neo-liberal financialism. This has been ruled out, until now, by the élite insistence on TINA (there is no alternative). Now the door is open a crack.

ORDER IT NOW

Karl Polyani, in his Great Transformation (published some 80 years ago), held that the massive economic and social transformations that he had witnessed during his lifetime – the end of the century of “relative peace” in Europe from 1815 to 1914, and the subsequent descent into economic turmoil, fascism and war, which was still ongoing at the time of the book’s publication – had but a single, overarching cause:

Prior to the 19th century, Polyani insisted, the human ‘way of being’ (economics as an organic component of society) had always been ‘embedded’ in society, and subordinated to local politics, customs, religion and social relations; i.e. subordinated to a civilisational culture. Life was not treated as separate; not reduced to distinct particulars, but was viewed as parts to an organic whole – that is, to Life itself.

Post-modern nihilism (that descended into unregulated neo-liberalism of the 1980s) turned this logic on its head. As such, it constituted an ontological break with much of history. Not only did it artificially separate the ‘economic’ from the political and ethical ‘way of being’, but open, free-trade economics (in its Adam Smith formulation) demanded the subordination of society to the abstract logic of the self-regulating market. For Polanyi, this “meant no less than the running of community as an adjunct to the market”, and nothing more.

The answer – clearly – was to make society again the dominant part to a distinctly human community; i.e. given its meaning through a living culture. In this sense, Polanyi also emphasised the territorial character of sovereignty – the nation-state as the sovereign pre-condition to the exercise of democratic politics.

Polanyi would have argued that, absent a return to Life itself as the central pivot to politics, a violent backlash was inevitable. Is such a backlash what we are seeing today?

At a conference of Russian industrialists and entrepreneurs, on 18 March 2025, Putin referred precisely to a ‘National Economics’ alternate solution for Russia. Putin highlighted both the imposed siege on the state, and set out the Russian response it – a model which is likely to be adopted by much of the globe.

It is a mode of economic thinking that is already practiced by China which had anticipated Trump’s Tariff Blitz.

Putin’s address – metaphorical speaking – constitutes the financial counterpart to his 2007 Munich Security Forum speech, at which he accepted the military défie posed by ‘collective NATO’. Last month however, he went further – Putin stated clearly that Russia had accepted the challenge posed by the Anglo ‘open economy’ financial order.

Putin’s address was in one sense nothing really new – It was the shift from the ‘open economy’ model towards ‘National Economics’.

The ‘National Economic’s School’ (of the nineteenth century) argued that Adam Smith’s analysis, which was heavily focused on individualism and cosmopolitanism, overlooked the crucial role of the national economy.

The result of a general free trade would not be a universal republic, but, on the contrary, a universal subjection of the less advanced nations by the predominant manufacturing and commercial and powers. Those advocating for a national economy countered Smith’s open economy by advocating a ‘closed economy’ to allow nascent industries to grow and become competitive on the global stage.

“Hold to no illusions: There is nothing beyond this reality”, Putin warned the gathered Russian industrialists in March 2025. “Set illusions aside”, he told delegates:

“Sanctions and restrictions are today’s reality – together with a new spiral of economic rivalry already unleashed”.

“Sanctions are neither temporary nor targeted measures; they constitute a mechanism of systemic, strategic pressure against our nation. Regardless of global developments or shifts in the international order, our competitors will perpetually seek to constrain Russia and to diminish its economic and technological capacities”.

“You should not hope for complete freedom of trade, payments and capital transfers. You should not count on Western mechanisms to protect the rights of investors and entrepreneurs… I’m not talking about any legal systems – they just don’t exist! They exist there only for themselves! That’s the trick. Do you understand?!”

Our [Russian] challenges exist, ‘yes’, Putin said;

“but theirs are abundant also. Western dominance is slipping away. New centres of global growth are taking centre stage”.

These challenges are not the ‘problem’; they are the opportunity, Putin argued: We will prioritise domestic manufacturing and the development of tech industries. The old model is over. Oil and gas production will be simply the adjunct to a largely internally circulating, self-sufficient ‘real economy’ – with energy no longer its driver. We are open to western investment – but only on our terms – and the small ‘open’ sector of our otherwise closed, self-circulating real economy will of course still trade with our BRICS partners.

Russia is returning to the National Economy model, Putin implied. ‘This makes us sanction and tariff resistant’. ‘Russia is also inducement resistant – being self-sufficient in energy and raw materials’, Putin said. A clear alternate economic paradigm in the face of an unraveling world order.

Nice to see Alastair Crooke’s article recognising the deeper truth about Trump’s tariff wars, that despite ‘haphazard’ appearances, this is a deadly serious and perhaps indispensable project, seeking to save the core elements of the USA from catastrophic collapse

We don’t know how this project will end, but it seems China is already ‘ready to talk’ … Trump may indeed pull off a victory for the ages here

On the lighter side, to share a major chuckle from the humour about Trump and his tariffs found on 4chan /pol/, click to enlarge

  2. Vice-President Vance now likens the Reserve Currency to a “parasite”

The irony here is that the Reserve Currency is a weakness, but somehow the massive Budget deficit is a strength, that can be used to threaten the whole world.

Everyone would like to say that Trump is the cause of this fine mess we got into.
But the Twin deficits, the loss of Economic power to China, of military power to China in quantity and Russia in quality, and the loss of Soft Power over support for Gaza has put USA in a really difficult situation pre-Trump.

While there are multiple reasons for Ukraine and Gaza, a core reason is that we have reached the Thucydides moment, and desperate acts are to be expected. Ukraine was a Hail Mary attempt to win (and although everyone involved knew deep down they could only fail in their own areas, they trusted the bullshit when everyone said it was doable – some still think it can be won!!) Gaza rather was a desperate admission that if Israel fails then the whole world knows that US cannot protect its most favoured client.

US is floundering in defeat – we should not be surprised at anything right now.

  3. Trump has made some good sounds on Ukraine, he is now laying the blame at Biden’s door and putting distance between himself and that dead pup of a war. Trump s recent statements has reanimated Berney Biden to take to the lectern again.

So wind down the war Trump, Europe is keen on Ukraine, then give it to them, hand it over, vacate the bases of staff and let Germany, the U.K takeover.

Trump has to do the same with Gaza, stop supporting Israel unless Israel signs off on a Palistinian state.

And Trump must also “promote” those on his team who are doing the bidding of others, “promote” these people to ceremonial roles, that will rid the place of them.

Its time to manoeuvre Donald if you are to reset for the deep dive into domestic issues. Stop playing international statesman, its not working, get on with remaking America, stop trying to be a jack of all trades, a master on none. Your international affairs advisers are manipulating you Donald, you don’t have a well researched understanding of the issues which means you can be used by others.

while j.d. vance is correct that the federal reserve is a parasite, his comment that it is forcing an overvalued dollar, is laughable at best. the federal reserve has over seen a massive devaluation of the dollar in their 112 year history. the dollar of today is worth about 2¢ of the dollar of 1913. their mandate was to protect the value of the dollar and they failed miserably in that mandate.

this zionist turd, is simply misdirecting attention away from the real parasitism of the so-called federal reserve, the bankster cabal that enriches themselves by creating an unpayable debt. the hyperinflation this idiot desires, enslaves the working class, turning them into debt slaves, in the service of his bankster buddies.

while zionist yankee doodle faggots like vance, sell us out to his zionist overlords, in the genocidal apartheid occupation of palestine and their parsitic bankster cabal, simple minded magatards applaud the destruction of their own country and futures of their children. what a sad state of affairs, with no hope for any meanful change, while we are entrapped in a two party duopoly, of red and blue puppets, whose strings are pulled by the same dark hand.

this mascaraed faggot, wants to steal the value right out of our bank accounts, retirement funds, insurance policies and all dollar denominated securities, while he and all the other tulip eater crypto queens, enrich themselves with their imaginary coins and loot the country, along with the zionist banksters, that are sharpening their knives in preparation for their slaughter of the fatted calf, that is the middle class.

wake up america, it is we that are the red heifer and we’re about to become burnt offerings.

  6. The main problem with Trump is that he is a bought and paid for tool of the Jews.
And the Jews are a huge problem. They are destructive parasites and insane ideologues.

The pathological Jewish agenda includes such Jewish inventions and projects as:

    Communism
    Cultural Marxism
    Arbitrary, illegal tyranny
    Anti-White animus
    Negro Worship
    Mexican Worship
    Pervert Worship
    Child Tranification and Mutilation
Turning Schools into Leftist Ideological Reeducation Camps
Predatory financial practices and irrational de-industrialization
    Anti-Christianity
    Anti-Civilization
The Invasion of Millions of Hostile Third-World Savages
    Victim Culture
    The Litigious Society
    Endless wars

Trump’s victory has meant that decent White people will once again be conned into believing that the system works and can work for Whites (Jews are NOT White. They are the self-declared enemies of Whites).

  7. Vance is imo a wholly manufactured creature just like Obama was; Obama was so completely come from nowhere into the Senate then onward, with the full wind of the CIA’s influence filling his sails onward to the Presidency. I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama was decanted from a beaker in Langley already fully formed and aged 22.

Vance is a similar creature – soft, fat and pasty with the rounded features of low testosterone there’s little doubt he was routinely abused by white trash while growing up, which no doubt fueled his antipathy for his own race. Funded and groomed by Peter Theil, himself a vessel of the CIA via Palantir, Vance serves as yet another sock puppet for intel and Jewish power.

Also note the commonality of mixed-race relationships; Obama’s CIA mom and his African father, and Vance and his Indian wife. It’s good to promote such into the public consciousness. And it’s intentional.

There’s something off about our shabbos goy boy Vance. Also what’s up with the eyeliner? Is he playing in a Cure cover band on the weekends?

Expect to see Vance as VP or P candidate in the next selection, if the US makes it that far. There’s a lot already vested in Vance and a good organization doesn’t let it’s assets go to waste

  8. History has shown us the title is complete wrong. The story of white european people is the same over and over. We build a great society from scratch, that society writes another new page in the history books for advancement and achievements. People of middle eastern descent work hard to climb the ladder in financial media and education , convincing the white european people of past persecution but because of the superiority of this system you are smarter and more advanced so laws protecting against alien leadership role are laughed off ( this could never happen here)

Society completely collapse’s on all fronts. The real leadership blames everyone from the poorest and the most powerless people , also others on the far side of the planet for this obvious disaster. The goal is the same, distract from the true culprits so the cycle can start over once again.

The neat thing this time the cycle won’t start over again, the Chinese with exceptional leadership and students of history will not be so gullible. We will not end up like Russia where the oligarchs move on to better hosts and a national rejuvenation can start, they have no where else to go. Facts point to more multiculturalism, less standard of living, larger central government, larger police state, higher crime, less energy consumption and in all probability cannon fodder for a cause that will not benefit the sucker sacrificing in any way.

The Al-Ahil Arab Baptist Hospital was given a 20 minute notice to evacuate. The IDF said the hospital was a Hamas “command and control complex.” The WHO found no evidence of any military activity. Under the Geneva Convention targeting a hospital is a war crime, to date the IDF have bombed 36 hospitals.

    Money has three attributes
    A means of Exchange
    A unit of Account
    A store of Value

Fiat currencies ( Fiat meaning “because we say so”) lack the third, hence are Currencies not Money.

  13. Trump did not create this mess. As Mr. Crooke says, it has been decades in the making. The catalyst that began the avalanche of current events was the Biden administration’s sanctions on Russia and Biden’s destroying the North Sea pipeline.

Sanctions on Russia forced her to seek alternative markets and trade partners. Far from crippling her, this breathed new life into her. Russia realized that she didn’t need life support from Europe and America. She could and should stand on her own. Succeeding, she undermined the perceived power of the Jew-run, Neo con and liberal so-called New World Order. Gone. Russia’s act of self recreation pulled aside the curtain to reveal the man—Behold, the Man–pulling the levers that projected the image of the big bad wizard.

All gone. There is no magic. The illusion is dispelled. Trump is right. We must do unto ourselves what we forced unto Russia: increasing self reliance and independence. As we sowed, so shall we reap. To think or believe that we could do unto them and not ourselves suffer or deal with the aftereffects is to be a Fool. No man is an island. Fuck over your neighbor, undermine his property value and you will also have fucked over yourself. After all, you gotta live there too. Get it? Force him to be independent and you must follow suit; after all, he is no longer there to bargain with.

The USA under Jews and Biden believed that they lived in a world free from Karmic feedback. Above the Law that disciplines everyone else. This is the folly of claims to being the “exceptional nation”, “God’s chosen” and the like. Hah! As though one could exempt oneself from the stream of events by declaring one to be above it all. Such folly, such delusion.

Mr. Crooke is correct. Trump is forced to deal with the missteps of his predecessors. They were idiots. Jews never fail to fuck everything up. It’s in their genes. If he is serious about revitalizing America’s economy, at some point Trump will have to confront the New York titans of Finance and curtail their criminal extortion rackets. Either that or he fails, just another Biden but with an elephant on his lapel rather than a donkey.

Of course debt matters. But what about the wonders of debt-free state-issued currency spent into existence on capital projects? – that Benjamin Franklin averred was the source of American wealth as opposed to Britain’s penury, and that happens to be the constitutionally mandated system.

Trump had blustered in his first campaign that he could pay off the entire debt (nineteen trillion then) in eight years. Bill Still showed how that might be done using debt-free state-issued money.

Unz Review author Ellen Brown is perhaps the best-known advocate of state-issued debt-free money – after another UR author, Michael Hudson. We might ask them if Reserve Currency status of state-issued money free of the debt problem is feasible or desirable.

Thank you, Mr. Crooke. This article pretty much sums it up. Nothing further needs to be said. I’d thought of making a comment but realized it would only be repetitive. You’ve taken a realistic snapshot of the world here on this Holy Thursday of 2025.

  16. Adam Smith wrote that people awash in “luxuries and vanities…should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion.” This is what we call “tax the rich.” Smith was a social philosopher whose ultimate goal was the good of the community. In keeping with the radical rejection of revealed religion that defined his Enlightenment era, he discarded the notion of divine providence in human affairs. In its place he attempted to construct rationalist economic theories. It was Smith, in Wealth of Nations, not Marx in Das Kapital, who proclaimed, “Civil government, so far as it is instituted for the security of property, is in reality instituted for the defence of the rich against the poor, or of those who have some property against those who have none at all.”

Trump is conjuring the early US, when the government supported itself on “imposts” alone. The first law passed by Congress at its first session in New York in 1789 levied import duties on dozens of commodities. But for Trump this is just a ploy to abolish the income tax that so angers him and his billionaire pals, while appealing greatly to the unfairly overtaxed American middle class. Good to remember that in America’s Golden Age,: the 1950’s, the tax rate on the wealthiest was over 90%, because this is how you get wealth to working people, by prying it from the greedy grasp of the oligarchs who eventually rise in “every society known to man,” in John Adams words, to “unite with each other against the people and the first magistrate.” As far back as 1811, Thomas Jefferson proposed a federal tax on their class, saying “…the farmer will see his government supported, his children educated, and the face of his country made a paradise by the contributions of the rich alone, without his being called on to spend a cent from his earnings.” Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis said it best in 1941, “We must make our choice. We may have democracy, or we may have wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can’t have both.”

The most bizarre thing is how many people now actually believe billionaires care about their personal welfare, or bother to notice that the “limited government” scam has limited only their freedom and prosperity, while immensely enlarging the coercive powers of the state over every aspect of their lives.

Trump’s Ukraine plan started off great with ending aid to Ukraine, but then he reversed that a week later, sent neocon idiots to talk with Putin, and extended sanctions on Russia.

It’s pretty clear that Z has figured out T. At the White House Zelensky played the fool. Back to more familiar ground he meets with Starmer who hinted at Brit boots on the ground. Then the French guy, the one married to his mom (or whatever she is), started talking nukes. That certainly got Zelensky going–almost to the point of playing the piano in his ‘special’ way. But when Kaja Kallas whispered sweet nothings into his ear, about sending Putin to Siberia, it was all over. Z cancelled elections once again, and is stalling on the ‘mineral’ agreement–i.e., giving it all to Blackrock. Overall Zelensky is playing Trump like a fool.

Some say the turf is soggy from winter’s thaw, so there’s not much ground pounding happening right now. But as spring turns to summer, if there is no ceasefire and/or serious talks going down, it’ll be over for Trump. It’ll be his war. Bad war. Bad economy. I’m thinking Nixon all over. The more things change…

Yesterday, in an attempt to play the blame game, Trump suggested Fed Chair Powell resign. Complaining that interest rates can’t be lowered fast enough. But then, remarkably, brags that the USA is ‘getting rich’ off tariffs–tariffs that as far as I can tell, no one has signed on to.

This resulted in a clown show.

It’s beyond Clown World. The absurdity challanges human comprehension. I think Trump has resurrected Alfred Jarry’s script, and has cast himself as Ubu Roi.

  18. Many were forecasting huge chaos with burning cities should Trump be re-elected. Well none of that happened and for one reason alone which cannot be other than a secret deal that brings Trump to a recognised victory this time in return for giving the Israeli entity what it had been dreaming of for more than three decades: the total emasculation of Iran.

Trump’s bargain is that he would have a free hand at reworking the economy in a way that upends the old order of the American welfare being sustained by trade deficits financed by printing Dollars and getting indebted by selling treasury bills.

That was some Faustian bargain to deal with, without taking into consideration the added burden of the Russia-ZATO war, that is causing more divisions and confusion within the current Republican coalition. Hence Trump’s indignation when it comes to the Biden legacy of the Ukraine fiasco.

Trump is being torn between the business executive who needs prompt action on the economic front and Trump the statesman who has to deal with the Ukraine and Iran issues in a way to keep the neocon Russia haters at bay and the Israel lobby from sabotaging his efforts on the economic front should Trump fail them.

This will prove a near impossible stunt for the one who managed to pull one out the hat the many times he survived his bankruptcies. The more manageable strategy for Trump is to settle the foreign policy issues first by giving Putin his basic demands and closing the Middle East conflict with a two state solution. Then Trump could move decisively to implement the long process of creating the ‘National Economy’ that would retire America from her role of consumer to the world back into industrial capitalism and real productivity in the manufacturing sector. A tall order without any doubt, for the enemies within are far more dangerous than any imaginary monsters promoted by the MICIMATT.

If a people believes in their innate superiority then in every encounter they will expect to come out on top. “After all, it’s only natural!”

In 1950s dollars, 100 dollars was equivalent to $735 in 2001.

In 2025, 100 dollars is equivalent to $1327.

This concept of a national economy in which the political domain is coterminous with the economic domain and economics has returned to concepts of political economy or to Polyani’s conception stated above is interesting. One might then ask what part of the Anglosphere or the American empire can be reordered as a closed economy?

Severing trade with one’s enemies and promoting it among friends would seem to be the first step in such consolidation. Will the ultimate effect of MAGA be to transform the American sphere of influence into some form of new national state with a closed economy?

Co-opted, compromised America’s failure to oppose and disarm nuclear-equipped Israel is the single greatest mistake it has ever made.

It’s not clear anything happening in the Middle East would be different today were Israel not to possess nuclear weapons (assuming they do) — the Jews have not relied on the threat of using them to achieve their aims.

But if you’re intent on naming ‘the single greatest mistake America has ever made’, a much better candidate would be giving full citizenship to millions of recently freed black slaves — we’ve definitely already seen the manifest ‘dire consequences’ of that, and even worse, given the reality of biological racial differences, will never see the end of those ‘dire consequences.’

I could name a few other better candidates as well: the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, which put Whites in America on course to become a minority in their own country, civil rights law which denies them basic things like freedom of association, etc.

And speaking of ‘co-opted’ and ‘compromised’, if you’re a white male, as I believe a significant majority of people commenting here are, it appears your brain has been ‘co-opted’ and ‘compromised’ by a conflict between racial aliens taking place halfway around the world, something that has nothing directly to do with the future of you and your kind.

Beginning in 2017, I implored that the place to begin was understanding that Trump made everyone who was anyone feel bad about themselves. None more so than Strange and Sinister Obama. He and his disastrous legacy — and the worst of the worst filth that burrowed into power through his malefactions — was at risk of exposure and a reckoning.

It became clear that just as the liberal globalist elite and the governing class that loyal serves them would rather die than admit Trump was right, the same sentiment was even more strongly held, if that’s possible, when it came to admitting what Obama’s reign had wrought.

Alastair Crooke’s article is as hard to follow as if it was about calculus, but it tells a hard truth – America is so deep in debt that “something” must be done. And Trump is doing that. The path to debt was because of a lot of inheritors of old time American companies doing the easy thing – selling off the old company to the Chinese and then spending the rest of their lives cashing checks from the new owners. This was fine for them but deadly for America.
Now the same bastards that sold out America are bitching because the checks are getting thin, long may they continue to bitch.

  56. Mefobills says:

The 19’th century is not the takeoff point. It is the 17’th century. There are other events prior to that, but the real locus point was the “corporate” cities that our friends invented while in Amsterdam. Their “model” was completed around 1600.

Polyani is reporting on something that was already old. Our “merchant” friends with the small hats were already ” free traders” and their system was perfected, with the training wheels off, and having inserted themselves into London by the 17’th century.

The Aiparu/Haibaru/Hebrew/Jew go back to pre-history. There are donkey-caravaneer bones interred outside of Sumer. The merchant used donkeys to travel the trade routes.

But, the Aiparu and their descendants really got their claws into Greco-Roman culture with the advent of corporate towns, and its subordinate invention “corporatocracy” or rule by corporations. This especially includes rule by banks of issue, where the money is created at debt (debt is a sin in all the older languages). The banks of issue, in the corporate towns, were backed by the tons of gold won at usury in the previous thousands of years. Our Jewish friends brought their gold with them when expelled from Spain in 1492.

This corporate model was eventually implanted into England, especially into the city of London, which became a corporatocracy unto itself. The Queen cannot go into the city, unless invited in. Get it?

Free trade theory is an implanted memory into the goyish Anglo Saxons, who were parasitized by the “corporatocracy” system, especially after the “Glorious Revolution.” Anglo Saxons also had a new “non-english” King inserted, William of Orange, in the first color revolution.

If you have Jews about, a Xenocracy (rule by others) and imported armies of immigrants, your civilization is in an advanced stage of rot. Aristotle warned about this, long before Jesus was born.

Any and I mean any economic analysis, must include the Jew. Our Aiparu friends invented finance capitalism and its adjunct corporatocracy, and then inserted it into Greco Roman western civilization, as a control grid. This form of economy is called today, finance capitalism. Hitler called them the “International.” National Socialism was a reaction to international corporatocracy. Stalin called them the “rootless cosmopolitans.” In 1944, Stalin invented National Communism, as a a reaction to the cosmopolitans. Its a tragedy that Hitler and Stalin came to blows.

The Greeks had a god for these types of people, “Hermes.” HERMES was the Olympian god of herds, trade, heralds, athletes and thieves. Hermes, in swaddling clothes stole cattle. This means these types of people are incorrigible from birth, and are not suited for running civilizations. The Jew and “merchant class” are not suited for leadership, and are the worst sorts of people, as our Greco-Roman ancestors knew, but we don’t. We don’t because we were clowned with clown world.

Greco-Roman civilizations at least had some understanding of basic human nature, that is a subset of humanity. The “merchant class” was always considered the lowest of the low, and today’s western civilization, that has been inverted, and that inversion was indeed due to the parasite inserting corporatocracy rule, especially banks of issue (which is a debt-sin)

Clown world required a new religion, Judeo-Christianity. That was also called “old- testamentarianism”. Why did Manessah Ben Israel, while in Amsterdam, print Athias Bibles, in English, at the cost of then millions of dollar equivalents? EVERY ENGLISH PLOUGHBOY will have a Bible and KNOW WE ARE THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK!

Get it? Judeo-Christianity and the printing press go together. Along with creating a new religion, then propaganda screeds, in English mostly, had to be invented. The people of the book had to be seen as special. The devil hides in plain site.

All of this is a very sophisticated system of grid control, clown world, which upended grec0-roman civilization, and turned goys into usury merchants, always paying attention to prices and money. We have become Jews. When you see things like “time magazine” being bought for one dollar, then that should be a clue that recycled usury dollars are being used to pay for propaganda. The owned “media” is an arm of Jewish clown world.

For Polanyi, this “meant no less than the running of community as an adjunct to the market”, and nothing more

The exact time and date for humans becoming fungible work units, was their also having become permanent debtors. Debt slavery was already in the world, but became a permanent fixture with the advent of the corporates towns. The Dutch were ripped away from sovereignty and attached to their new hidden overlords. The burgermeister was then employed to collect taxes.

Grid control now includes the “town mayor” or burgermeister collecting taxes from the permanent debtors. This is to recycle their “bank of issue” corporate credit, creating a circular local economy. But, don’t forget, the new debtors are permanent debt slaves, they can never get out of debt – which is the case for the western world now, as this Jewish system has “debt spread” throughout the west, and wants the world.

The ‘National Economic’s School’ (of the nineteenth century) argued that Adam Smith’s analysis, which was heavily focused on individualism and cosmopolitanism, overlooked the crucial role of the national economy.

Adam Smith was simply a product of England having been parasitized by 1694. The national economic school was a product of the Colonials, especially John Winthrop’s invention of industrial capitalism in Massachusets Bay.

The better analysis is Jew world finance capital, established around 1600, vs industrial capitalism invented in the colonies after 1630.

The proximate reason for the revolutionary war was the currency act of 1764. This demonetized colonial script, and undid the central pillar of Colonial industrial capitalism. Franklin stated they could easily have paid the “taxes,” it was the loss of their money type that induced a depression, that caused the war.

(Industrial capitalism, BANKS OF DEPOSIT, and nationalism) are all part of the same thing, and are in a war to the death with (finance capitalism, BANKS OF ISSUE, and internationalism).

The colonials “bills of credit” were issued by law, and this money type went into the pockets of labor, and was then was deposited into a bank of deposit. Banks did not hypothecate money, like the Jewish invention that precipitated finance capitalism. Banks of issue, hypothecate – they create credit at debt (a sin).

The western world is now finance capitalist, and Americans especially have been clowned, and don’t even know their own history, or their place in the world. They have Jewish spectacles on their nose.

Even American Judeo Christian religions serve clown world, and do not represent Christ’s real message. (Christ started his mission on the jubilee year, to balance civilizational debts/credits. The Jewish system is permanent debt servitude.)

I don’t know if anybody really knows Trump’s medium and long game, and that includes Trump himself.

I do believe that Trump has a fairly good grasp of the overall problems, albeit in a general overview aspect. He knows that de-industrialization has been a big negative to this country’s economy, workforce, wages, and national security. He deeply understands the corrosive effect of illegal immigration on worker’s wages, employment opportunities, tax revenues, domestic spending, the culture of true Americans, and also, national security and law & order. He correctly identifies the EU and Britain as fair weather allies, that also take advantage of the US, mostly because the US, in effort to control Europe, has become a- bully, a doormat, a body guard, and an ATM for our supposed friends.

He’s also correct that many countries, and China especially, has made a real fortune by taking advantage of our naive, shortsighted, arrogant, and narrow-minded international economic policies and principles.

He correctly identifies that we haven’t been putting “Americans First” (i.e. working class Americans, native born Americans, non-millionaire and billionaire Americans, non-CEO Americans, non MIC Americans, and non-government worker Americans) and instead, have been suckered into some dysfunctional state whereby only US hegemony minded diplomats (for lack of a better term), the super wealthy/super powerful, and the Global Elites, are the only people prospering from America’s universal decline!

Your average nine-to-fiver blue collar Joe, is getting fleeced, robbed, attacked, squeezed… dealing with decades of flat wages coupled with sky rocketing price increases, non English speaking illegal aliens taking over every public space; retail, service sector, hospitals, parks, construction, hotels, convenience stores, the city streets and roadsides… while he keeps getting pressed to go die in foreign wars, while his nation calls him a villain at every turn. He has to deal with nigger criminals, spics ruining his children’s schools, street shitting Indians flooding his workplace, and a “female empowerment movement” that has turned him into a sperm donor that has to pay for it, for the rest of his natural life, living near poverty, while his ex takes his kids, calls him an asshole, and goes on to re-marry, and fleece another poor schmuck for even more money.

He’s a hapless wage slave, and all he has left is to console himself with is a nightly 12 pack of cheap beer, and watching his local nigger sports ball team, run around against some other nigger sports ball team.

He has no pension, no family, no safety net, and no options except to slave his entire life away with marginal chances for financial advancement, while trying to keep up on all his fees, fines, taxes, licenses, permits, utilities, car payments, medical insurance for his kids, and all the while hoping that the State doesn’t make him a criminal because he cannot keep up on the vig for having had children with a female, who fucked him and then fucked him over, or that the VA doesn’t accidentally kill him with incompetence, as his final reward for risking his life for an ungrateful nation.

THOSE are the guys that Trump is talking to, and they hear him loud and clear. Maybe he can’t fix all of their problems, but he can at least acknowledge them, and maybe give those people a decent shot at a lifetime of factory jobs, whereby they at least don’t have to worry every single day about losing their job, and by extension, losing everything!

Perhaps cut down on the number of wetbacks that he has to deal with, and perhaps empower the police to actually arrest, prosecute, and jail the nigger criminal class.

And if, along the way, Trump can actually put the screws to the Elites, that have ruined those men’s lives, while making things just slightly better for them, all the better!

I don’t know if Trump will succeed or fail. He has a huge headwind, and a lot of people with a ton of money and power, working against him. Also, he’s not a perfect champion on “all things America” (his devotion to Israel, the fucking jews, and doing their every bidding, is the biggest flaw) but he’s better than anyone we have had in a very long time, so hopefully he can-

Keep us out of any new wars

    Improve wages

    Re-industrialize the US

Grow the economy for working Americans

Keep prices, inflation, and the forces of recession in check

Re-focus the government on actually working for it’s citizens

    Gut the welfare state

Fire as many government slugs as God will allow

    Re-establish law and order

End lawfare against Whites, White Males, Christians, Catholics, and Pro-Life advocates

Seal the border and deport as many aliens as is possible

And lastly- Set this country on a path towards some measure of prosperity, versus the path to ruin that we have been running down for several decades.

If he can even do SOME OF THAT, it will be netter than nothing! And NOTHING is what we have been getting, for a very long time!

Alastair Crooke’s article is as hard to follow as if it was about calculus, but it tells a hard truth – America is so deep in debt that “something” must be done. And Trump is doing that.

A required course of action isn’t a justification for idiocy.

Trump doesn’t know what he is doing and so far has been worse for the economy which means more debt. It just came out that European tourism to the US has cratered. Predicted response from his fans: OH WELL, it’s fine. Everything is fine.

Trump is intellectually lazy. He can’t even get the basics of the Russian invasion correct. I honestly doubt he could find Crimea on a map.

But his remaining fans still think he spends his evenings reading economic theory. Right.

Trump is a monkey pulling levers and hoping it all works. That should have been clear with his “pause” which was an admittance that he screwed up.

Polyani’s conception and inclusion of “National Economics” [nomenclature and a species assignment remain an obsession and fetish for many in the West], is just simply common sense, the acknowledgement that every aspect and item in an advanced culture are pieces of the puzzle, gears in the transmission, and on a smaller scale, teeth on the gears. What’s the big deal?

That is why the response must be shaped in Moscow’s,traditional style: flexible, pragmatic, and unburdened by rigid ideological dogma.,”

When I started my Marine Engineering career, I made it a point to sail on different ships, even though it was inconvenient and discontinuous.
Ships are variable in design, layout, provisioning, etc. I also wanted to observe the different management styles and operational procedures of different senior officers; all from which to upload into my relational database mind. Other guys found a nice ride – tanker, contain ship, break bulk, LNG – and rode that one or same class for their entire careers. In later years, crossing paths with old classmates, it was obvious that I knew more than they did, and had a wider spectrum of knowledge, and hence a greater choice in response to operations.

It’s the same in life. The more cultures, countries, milieus, populations, etc., one exposes to oneself, the deeper and wider the appreciation and enrichment of life’s choices. The United States is a “hick” country. Most of its citizens are provincial metaphorical “hayseeds”, the hillbillies of the world. The population’s knowledge, spiritual depth, and perspective is abysmal and dismal. It’s impossible to understand the current moment without being honest about what big gay Obama has wrought. Before he took power it was inconceivable that a president would declare the opposition party nominee unfit and then when he won unleash the corrupt filth he had installed in to take him down.

And, remember, big gay Obama got away with everything. He was awarded a Nobel Prize and was never criticized for anything he ordered — including the drone assassination of a 16 year old American citizen. After screeching “Assad Must Go!,” Strange and Sinister Obama ordered the USG to train and arm Al Qaeda/ISIS in Syria setting the objective of destroying its ancient Christian communities.

Of course, this author and all other respected commentators took a pass on ever giving Obama even mild criticism for green-lighting the destruction of Libya. Nor, you should note, does anyone acknowledge that in doing so Obama reneged on agreement Bush made when Gaddafi agreed to abandon its nuclear program and admit liability for the Iranian Lockerbie bombing.

I could go on but no one listens …

A few Democrats have begun to figure out that their party has further to fall unless it abandons its Trump Derangement. But that isn’t the half of it. It was Smith, in Wealth of Nations, not Marx in Das Kapital, who proclaimed, “Civil government, so far as it is instituted for the security of property, is in reality instituted for the defence of the rich against the poor, or of those who have some property against those who have none at all.”

Smith was downstream of Jewish insertion of Finance Capitalism, especially the Bank of England in 1694.

This included rigging markets, with gets/puts/forward contracts and other speculative behavior. For the Jews it was not speculation, they already had the tribe ensconced in entrepot cities ringing the trade routes, around the Mediterranean, and overland in the middle east. The jew had advanced knowledge on the movements of goods and prices internationally, via their agents ensconced in entrepot cities. This was also true before there were nations, when it was god-king city states. The international jew was located in his redoubts, which were the entrepot cities and ports.

For Jewish corporate grid control, also included rigging the financial markets. This was done by 600 unlicensed Sephardic Jews after Spanish expulsion. Holland was converted, and tulip mania was a direct result of newly invented banks of issue (Wessell banks) and rigged markets.

Rule by corporations and their hidden owners, is not sovereignty. It is internationalism, it is financialism, it is finance capitalism.

Financialism includes on-selling debt instruments and other finance paper into markets. This then makes humans as marketable commodities. The conceit of market theory is they are like god and self balancing, when actually they were rigged from the beginning.

Civil government being rigged for the rich was “Creditor Democracy,” euphemized as Parliamentary democracy. This has nothing to do with Greece, and was invented concurrently with the corporate towns. The people of the towns were given the vote, to sanction their debt status.

It is a form of Satanism, to go to a bank and put yourself voluntarily into debt, and then “OK” your slave status via the vote. Is it any wonder that Jews look down their hooked noses at stupid goyim cattle, who deliver themselves voluntarily into servitude?

Creditor democracy has a house of the lords, which has the whip hand over the lower house of debtors. The upper house of creditors own and hold the debt instruments and other finance paper against civilization. This paper is on-sold into their rigged markets.

Did I not say earlier, that Jewish Clownworld is a sophisticated construct. Clownworld has persisted since around 1600, and only now is cornered. It cannot get the world war it wants.

A fish like Adam Smith, cannot easily jump out of his water and see daylight. Although he did see much, he was wrong on many things. All of the English economists are to be read with a grain of salt. They were jewed. England is now in an advanced stage of rot, and may not even survive.

    AI Overview

While it’s difficult to say definitively whether J.D. Vance wears eyeliner, the speculation is widespread, with many believing he does, but his wife Usha Vance claims it’s all-natural, highlighting his long, dark lashes. Some argue that his naturally long lashes and hooded eyelids create the appearance of eyeliner, while others point to photos and videos suggesting he may wear liner.
    Arguments for Eyeliner:

    Close-up photos:
Close-up photos and videos of Vance often show a black smudge along his waterline, which could be eyeliner.

    “Smoky” eye look:
Some find his eyes to have a “smoky” or “goth” look that is often associated with eyeliner.
    Previous appearances:
Resurfaced photos, including one from Yale Law School, show him wearing eyeliner.

    Arguments against Eyeliner (Natural Appearance):

    Usha Vance’s claim:
Usha Vance, Vance’s wife, has stated that his appearance is “all-natural” and that she’s always been “jealous of those lashes”.

    Long lashes and hooded eyelids:
Many believe that his naturally long lashes and hooded eyelids create the appearance of eyeliner.
    Natural variations:
It’s possible that the dark color and shape of his eyes are simply a result of natural variations in eye structure and lash growth.

In conclusion, while there’s significant speculation and some evidence suggesting J.D. Vance may wear eyeliner, it’s also possible that his natural eye features create the appearance of liner without any makeup being used.

Yes. And along with that, no modern Jewish theorist can account for that apparent anomaly “altruism”. They simply won’t admit that it is possible, that is, that someone can do anything with any motive other than naked or disguised self interest.

It appears as though cognitively, they are incapable of understanding the meaning of the word. Having no capacity for altruism themselves, they simply cannot conceive of it.

I say, “I rescued the panicking swimmer because it was the right thing to do”.

They say, “No, you benefitted. Basked in the glory of a newspaper write up”, or some such.

I say, “But I left the scene before the emergency rescue crews showed up.”

    etc.

With respect to their own in-group, they apparently have no trouble believing that it is possible for one Jew to do that which benefits the group as a whole and that strengthening the group may in turn benefit the individual Jew but they lack the insight—altruism?–to attribute this to anyone but themselves.

Jews are tremendously myopic. This is why they cannot be entrusted with ultimate leadership. As an adjunct, helpful advisors, they have a place and can contribute, but woe betide the people or organization that is headed up by Jews. Those under them are in for a rough ride.

An amazing amount of left wing talking points can only be made sense of if you imagine them as having been instilled along with Mother’s milk. It is so very difficult to get a liberal to look at statistics and take them seriously because stats contradict the message of infantile nurturing a leftoid associates with being breast fed.

For a woman, there’s always room for more. Every stray is adopted. The needy are such not through any cause of their own, but because of circumstances beyond their control. In fact, no one is in control at all, except evil White men who dictate and legislate everything so as to harm and enslave every person of color. All people of color need and deserve to be breast fed. Mother’s milk. Let White women breast feed the children of color throughout the world. Here, take this. (It’s wealth created by my husband, but he won’t know that I’m giving it to you behind his back.)

Chris Hedge’s articles read like this. As do Kevin Barrett’s.

It is simply impossible to reason with someone who only wants from you unconditional love as breast milk. This is why men are told to “shut up” and quit with the “mansplaining”. Their input is not wanted. Ordered reasoning is no substitute for Mother’s milk and warm embrace.

Not everyone is predestined to achieve adulthood. Some, many, prefer childhood. There is no type or amount of planning, education, therapy or counseling that can budge a person who wants to remain helpless. Many psychotherapists encountered this in their patients. Contra them, I don’t believe it’s “learned helplessness”, I believe some people are just born that way. Predestined, we used to say.

Not working at a job which demands that they attend to some mechanical process outside of themselves is part of the problem. People-oriented jobs can run on the fumes of illusions indefinitely. Process jobs, thing jobs, force people out of their narcissism, but those jobs have disappeared. About work, they used to say, “It’s a man’s world”. Now that women have taken over the workplace and colleges, it ain’t no mo. It’s women and chilluns. A women’s world engenders children because women’s solution to every problem is to comfort and breast feed it.

Vance broke with Trump admin over Houthi airstrikes, group chat report says

“I think we are making a mistake,” the vice president said to a group chat of several top administration officials, according to a stunning report by The Atlantic.

Vice President JD Vance has emerged as the administration’s attack dog on Europe. | Samuel Corum/Sipa USA

    By Irie Sentner

    03/24/2025 04:24 PM EDT

A behind-the-scenes foreign policy disagreement between some members of President Donald Trump’s administration and Vice President JD Vance spilled into public Monday, with Vance calling the timing of a recent military operation in Yemen “a mistake.”

The private dispute was made public in a stunning report in The Atlantic out Monday in which the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, was inadvertently added to an encrypted group chat of senior Trump administration officials as they planned airstrikes on the Houthis in Yemen.

It marks the first reported incident since Trump took office that Vance has butted heads with the president and other top officials in his hard-line isolationist stance against Europe.

“I think we are making a mistake,” Vance said to the group chat, which included Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, national security adviser Mike Waltz and White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, according to the report. It doesn’t appear that the president was included in the group chat.

“I am not sure the president is aware how inconsistent this is with his message on Europe right now,” Vance added. “There’s a further risk that we see a moderate to severe spike in oil prices. I am willing to support the consensus of the team and keep these concerns to myself. But there is a strong argument for delaying this a month, doing the messaging work on why this matters, seeing where the economy is, etc.”

Vance sent the message March 14, the day before Trump announced he had authorized a series of “decisive and powerful” airstrikes on the Houthis, an Iran-backed, U.S.-designated terrorist group in Yemen that has for two years targeted commercial and military shipping in the Red Sea. Two days before, Trump had announced 25 percent steel and aluminum tariffs and the European Union swiftly retaliated, launching the allies toward a trade war.

Vance opposed Houthi strikes late last year. He did not see the benefit over cost vis a vis America’s strategic standing world wide. Time has proven his correct in his assessment, which went contrary to the President’s opinion.

Gabbard and Vance took the lead among Trumps advisors Hegseth and Rubio counseling against attacking Iran on several grounds. All of them solid based on intel and hard reasoning. The USA was about to make a mistake that would have led to a probable WW III, as Russia and China committed to support Iran, the other Middle East countries said no planes or ships from our bases [hinting that the relationship with the Jew S would be in jeopardy. Plus, the obsolete no longer stealth, $2.2 billion each B-2s and B-62 “Stratofortress” [Hee hee ho ho] would be shot from the sky with Russia’s S-400 and S-500, if needed.

Once again, Vance stepped up and took the point position directly against Netanyaboohoo.

So, Johnson, it is ironic that you, careless thinker, serial liar, devoid of honor, should disparage Vance, a former Marine. Marinate some matzo balls and shove them up your rectum and let them curate. Your BB sized balls are no match for Vance’s wrecking ball size.

JJ, your disjointed and disassociated primal screams heard screeching through the digital ether are not encouraging of a balanced mind.

  112. Emslander says:

Prior to the 19th century, Polyani insisted, the human ‘way of being’ (economics as an organic component of society) had always been ‘embedded’ in society, and subordinated to local politics, customs, religion and social relations; i.e. subordinated to a civilisational culture. Life was not treated as separate; not reduced to distinct particulars, but was viewed as parts to an organic whole – that is, to Life itself.

The blockquote is the core of Mr. Crooke’s article and I’m surprised it hasn’t been more the subject of comments. The Western mind has been transformed from what is normal and natural, its local politics, etc., to an obsession with “economics”. Economics is no more graspable to the normal human way of thinking than is 100,000 years of climate variations, but both are thrust at us by the transgender neo progressives as demanding of us some emergency international political solutions.

Don’t you see the problem? Absent any exterior impetus, local problems, like potholes, or sewer repairs, can easily be resolved intellectually. You scrape up the money somehow from the local tax base and fix what you can as quickly as you can. Transgenderism, climate action and “economics” demand that we give in to the experts among us who will take all of the local money needed for potholes and print a lot more in order to fix enormous threatening dangers that only they can identify.

It’s putting life into a cage and treating everything except life as the dominant need. We’re all living in cash registers disguised as nations. To go along with this is the ever-increasing militarization of culture. We’re also armies pretending to be civilizations.

This is what Trump, a non-political real estate developer, the ultimate in local emphasis, is battling. Focus on buildings and airports, he says. Forget these non-resolvable mindfucks. That’s why he will win.

His anti-intellectualism is what is best about him.

Rather than responding individually to the huge number of comments my comment has generated I thought I would address all of you as a group and develop further the points made above.

It’s often easier to reason from specifics than vague generalities so let’s look at an example of what I mean:

    https://nypost.com/2025/04/19/us-news/nyc-woman-charged-in-cybertruck-hate-crime-is-woke-therapist/

The woman (Jewish) who committed this hate crime justified doing so with the following argument:

“Every time I see those cars, I see Elon Musk saluting the country as a Nazi,” Cohen told police at the time of her April 12 arrest, according to a copy of the criminal complaint, obtained by The Post.

“I made a mistake because I’m basically living in terror every day that the country is turning into Nazi Germany,” Cohen continued, according to cops. “I’m truly terrified because Elon was unelected and they’re deporting migrants without a trial.”

She is saying that she couldn’t help what she did. Musk made her do it. Her response was automatic.

Now, Existentialism preached, above all, one thing and that was that we make who we are by our courageous actions. Before, you were an undifferentiated sheep, one of the herd. Now, through self defining action, you become an individual. You create who you are through your self-defining actions.

Okay. We’ve (most of us) at some point or the other done that. Made choices which defined our lives, gave contours to our Selves.

Now comes this Cohen woman who repudiates her self. “Not I” she says, “but Elon Musk forced me to do it!”

In other words, to borrow from (another Jew) Erich Fromm, she is Escape[ing] From Freedom. She retreats from her self-defining action. Refuses to take responsibility for it.

This is the defining feature of the Left, of the Liberal.

A Leftist, Liberal is one who refuses to take responsibility for their actions, preferring instead to blame some one other or some generalized factor for their behavior.

When a Leftoid is “caught in the act” of self-definition, they desperately scurry for cover, hiding themselves in the herd. Like Judas, they betray not Jesus, but worse, themselves.

Same with the black track kid who knifed the white guy. His family’s spokesman at the recent press conference blamed the weather, the school system, all whites etc. for the kids self-defining action.

The herd welcomes the prodigal son or daughter with open arms. “You poor thing. Come back into the undifferentiated herd. There, there now. Have a suck on this. Be a baby. Don’t be an adult. You’re not responsible for what you do or did.”

    Infantilizes them.

So, if you don’t want to grow up. Don’t want to be an adult, prefer to remain undifferentiated, then embrace Liberalism. It’s for the inner child in all of us—permanently.

If, on the other hand, you want to be an adult, then stand in the space you have carved out for yourself and weather the storm. Don’t retreat into helplessness in the face of “overwhelming circumstances”. With courage, there are no overwhelming circumstances.

Right on cue, we read in the article that this cowardly woman who is also trained as a “maternal mental health” therapist has “also helped young offenders as part of the Kings County Re-Entry Task Force, working in tandem with the Bureau of Youth Diversion and Initiatives to keep criminals out of prison”.

It is all of a piece, no? The liberal Jewish woman offering up her boob’s milk to aliens and criminals who want to avoid taking responsibility for having committed crimes. Infantilizing them. Stripping them of their existential freedom to define themselves as courageous adults by their actions.

Jewish women are not just the bane of their poor, beleaguered sons, but all the rest of us as well. We’re all Jewish sons now.

found out about something called the Triffin paradox and it says that you cant have a trade surplus if you have a reserve currency.

    gold has been demonitized in a fiat floating exchange system and with oil priced mainly in dollars it is impossible for the rest of the world to have a trade deficit vs america because they will always have to have dollars;

theyre forced in fact to have a trade surplus and to export whatever they can to America because theyre dollar short and they have to have dollars, this creates a structural trade deficit for America and it finances Americans consumption and ‘quality of life’, but its a free ride visavis inflation and more importantly it completely unconstrains domestic policy.

trump knows all of this, so the fact that theyre collapsing this system is really an attack on the dollar and its reserve status.

Nothing could be done—or even proposed—which did not have tangible, specific, quantifiable behavior or results by which success could be ascertained.

As your author would have predicted, the consequences were stultifying and achingly dull. Nothing was open-ended.

Obviously Mefobills has sacrificed his time reading through many thousands of books, magazines, and newspapers before coming to his conclusions. History, economics, and politics are not separate from religion, business, education, war, philosophy, or technology and science.

Few people understand that the educational system does not educate. Our culture provides the masses with the illusion that the educational system educates. In effect it is a funnel which is used to intentionally sort the student population into subservience.

Young people cannot discern their predicament and so the most diligent bend their will to the insistence that without obtaining a certificate of acceptance they will risk being excluded from the presumptions inherent in the process which to them seem self evident.

The career path is an extension of the funnel. Job titles are an extension of the curriculum the educational system teaches. Much success is obtained by adhering to the constraints of the funnelling process. Most certainly a good memory is useful. The more time and effort going into memorizing the curriculum the less likely the student or careerist has the time or inclination to question the orthodoxy to which he unconsciously subscribes.

Most certainly modern society in the west requires a set of all the obvious activities comprising that which we are generally familiar. But there is a shadow side, shall we say — few cognize as the definition of the term itself — which for the careerist, may be too late to admit when it becomes apparent.

Obviously, war cannot be prosecuted without bombs, guns and germs. Many jobs require relatively arcane and specific knowledges some people find themselves employing in the service of finding say loopholes in the law, or chemical compounds both dangerous to produce and harmful when deployed.

The military hires thousands of graduates of universities whose roles involve killing people. ‘Creating’ seductive ad copy is a career for people schooled in the ‘art’ of persuasion. Corporations, politicians, union ‘leaders’, the military, and all kinds of professional associations make use of these services.

There are millions employed teaching the modern curricula in grade schools, high schools, colleges, and universities. Half of the time spent in certain institutions, governments, corporations, hospitals, etc., is spent teaching and learning which of course is inherently reinforcing the assumptions inherent in the structures wherein they work and the larger society wherein the structures are embedded.

Simply put people are busy, learning, earning, raising their children, cooking, and driving here and there and in most cases servicing their debts.

Millions work in media — producing and providing entertainment, creating and producing the news, and indeed reinforcing and validating the lives of the masses; all serving the behemoth — in return for as significant a place in the hive as they can manage.

The history of man is the history of crime. Woe betide those who would tell the truth, or expose the shadow side, or attempt to bell the cat — few love Cassandra!

I for one think it important to pull back the curtain. Few have the time, desire, fortitude or inclination to expose the shadow sides inherent in our collective predicament!

But at the heart of the callousness intentionally promulgating events we know to be evil is the abject ignorance of the consequences of our passive acceptance of the big lie.

The history Mefobills reveals here is worth contemplating and pondering. Opening ones eyes to certain facts — more easily verifiable than unearthing them — is the antidote to passivity and mechanical acquiescence.

Capitalism IS cancer. It REQUIRES unending growth, to feed elite greed and pay interest, on a finite planet. Outcome-death by cachexia, ie the poisoning of the system by pollutants caused by the growth processes, and happily dismissed as mere ‘externalities’.
In response to that poisoning, the capitalist ploughs ahead and LIES. ‘There is no climate change’ says the Right, as temperatures shoot up, the planet’s albedo falls, the oceans warm and climate and weather disasters explode. This despite the oil companies knowing from the ’50s and ’60s that this is precisely what would happen. Just as tobacco capitalists continued killing millions EVERY year for profit, and continue doing so wherever they can bully or corrupt governments. Capitalism is ultimate Evil in that it has no morality but greed, and no compunction in murder.

Why do you fascists hate ‘the environment’ ie Life on Earth so much? I suspect it’s because your souls are dead, either still-born or killed some time in child-hood.

found out about something called the Triffin paradox and it says that you cant have a trade surplus if you have a reserve currency.

I think your premise is correct if you call it a balance of payments, rather than a balance of trade.

    @John Johnson

Putting thought before morons like you is like throwing pearls before swine.

Ask the orderly to bring you another glass of water. It will do you some good.

  129. Keep talking in idioms while the numbers remain.

“I’m going to reduce inflation on day one” – Trump when running

“People got yippy” – Trump after pausing his worldwide tariffs that wiped a year off the S&P 500

We should maintain a list of remaining red hat believers at Unz.

Then we take bets on who will be the last to jump ship.
