The silence of the bears will soon be ended and we will know more about Russian resolve.

Russia’s leadership is in ‘conclave’ determining its riposte.

Trump has been silent for two days. Unprecedented. In the last days, Ukraine and its facilitators attempted a massive attack on Russia’s strategic nuclear bomber-force; succeeded in collapsing two bridges onto civilian trains heading to Moscow; attacking the Kerch Bridge; and assassinating a Russian general via explosive body bomb.

As Clausewitz noted two centuries ago, the point of military force is to compel an outcome: i.e. that an adversary finally does what is wanted of him. Thus, in respect to military adventures there is need for clarity of thought from the outset. It must have a realisable political objective that has a prospect to be implemented.

What then, was the objective behind these Ukrainian ‘irregular’ attacks? One certainly was demonstrative – PR exercises to say that Ukraine and allied services are still capable of mounting special forces style, innovative operations. And are therefore worthy of continued support. As Colonel Doug Macgregor cautions:

“For the most part it was a PR stunt to try and convey the impression that Ukraine is capable of carrying on the war. Anything you hear from the Western outlets … are probably untrue or at least grossly exaggerated … We damaged ourselves and our relationship – what there is left of it – with Moscow … that’s the real fallout from this”.

Okay. But PR stunts are no strategy, nor do the attacks hold any prospect for a shift in the overall strategic military paradigm. It doesn’t say that the West or Ukraine has suddenly discovered a political strategy towards Russia per se. That doesn’t exist. For the most part, the innumerable western declarations come as a hodge-podge of fantasies.

The second objective however, may indeed have had a clear strategic end-state – and has demonstrated feasibility and the possibility to compel a desired outcome: The various attacks have imposed on Trump the uncomfortable reality that he, as President, does not control U.S. foreign policy. The collective Deep State has just made that plain.

As General Mike Flynn has warned:

“The Deep State is now acting outside of the control of the elected leadership of our nation … These persons in our Deep State are engaged in a deliberate effort to provoke Russia into a major confrontation with the West, including the United States”.

In effect, the likes of Generals Keith Kellogg and Jack Keane, with their adolescent narratives that only through pressure, more pressure and pain will compel Putin (always presumed to be weak) to accept a frozen conflict in the hope that it can obvert from an American defeat in Ukraine.

The British during WW2 similarly believed that the Nazi regime was not strong, and could be overthrown by strategic bombing, intended to bring about the collapse of German society. Today, General Kellogg advocates ‘bombing’ Russia with sanctions – mirroring the British conviction that such tactics ‘must be bad for morale’.

ORDER IT NOW

Trump’s advice from his Generals either did not meet the criterion of political realism – because it was based on fantasies of incipient Russian collapse and a hopeless misreading of Russia and its Army. Or perhaps his Advisers, either inadvertently or deliberately, ‘shafted’ Trump and his agenda of normalising relations with Russia.

What will Trump say now to Putin? That he was indeed forewarned (recall his writing just days ago that “bad things – if it were not for me – I mean REALLY BAD things would already have happened to Russia”) and claim that his advisers did not give him the full details; or will he candidly admit that they deceived him? Alternatively, will he take the line that the CIA was merely operating to an old Presidential ‘Finding’ that authorised attacks into the depth of the Russian hinterland?

All such putative answers would spell one thing – that Trump is not in control. That he and his European allies (such as Britain) cannot be trusted.

Either way, Trump’s advisers will have understood that Zelensky and by extension his NATO enablers, were exploiting the SALT/START Treaties’ vulnerability – in order to use concealed drones, hidden in civilian containers, to attack the very bombers covered by USA-Russia treaties: Article XII of the START treaty specifically requires “a display in the open of all heavy bombers within the airbase”. This provision was a confidence building act (visible monitoring) to guard against a surprise ‘first strike’ nuclear attack.

START 1 cut long-range or strategic nuclear arsenals by 30-40 percent. New START slashed accountable deployed strategic arms by another three-quarters. In 2021, Presidents Biden and Putin extended New START until February 2026.

Of course, these unidentified enablers understood the gravity of striking the strategic nuclear force of a major rival nuclear weapons power.

How would the U.S. respond if an adversary (perhaps a non-state actor) launched a strike against strategic long-range nuclear capable bombers in the USA using cheap and easily available drones hidden in containers? We are in a new era of risk – one in which pagers and cell phones can be weaponised as bombs – and of ‘sleeper’ drones that can be remotely activated to attack airfields, either civilian or military.

Larry Johnson has observed that after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour in December 1941, intended to destroy the U.S. aircraft carriers berthed there, the Japanese Admiral Yamamoto reportedly said the following in the aftermath of Japan’s great victory at Pearl Harbour:

“I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve … We have won a great tactical victory at Pearl Harbour and thereby lost the war”.

The silence of the bears will soon be ended and we will know more about Russian resolve; but a relationship in which Trump is understood to ‘mean what he says, and does what he says’ likely is over. The Russians are furious.

What happens next is unknown.

If you read the comments in msm stories, a large percentage of people, particularly those on the left, are in favor of more attacks on Russia. When warned about Russia’s large nuclear attack capability, they scoff, responding that Russia is “weak”. I’m not sure where this came from, but if a large percentage of deep state characters believe the same thing, we might finally get that nuclear war they used to talk about when I was a kid. The government people will be hiding in their bunkers, but when it’s all over, who’s going to fix their air conditioning or toilets? You can only fit so many in a bunker and I’m pretty the plumber or the electrician aren’t on the list.

    This drew an actual LOL.

Trump is running U.S. foreign policy with the help of his inner circle — Witkoff, Vance, and possible Rubio. Kellogg has been relegated to the hinterlands of influence and is tasked with duties such as floating unpopular trial balloon ideas.

There is little to no money for Kiev aggression in the Trump’s budget. It is only a matter of time until last dollars from the prior White House occupant run out.

Europe/Ukraine will have to buy from America if they want our goods. How long can Germany/France/UK afford to keep Führer Zelensky in the field?
    ____

MAGA views China as the #1 strategic priority. Pushing Russia into China’s grasp makes no sense. Therefore, Trump wants to fix U.S./Russia relations.

Remember, Trump is President not God Emperor. Margins in the House and Senate are narrow. Swamp critters like Graham may be able to obtain some concessions. However, it is wise to show patience. Progress is being made. In the 1st 4 months of Trump’s 2nd term, he accomplished more than 4 years of Team Biden.

    PEACE 😇

The Russian Ambassador to the UK, finally said something out loud. Paraphrasing: ‘If this were a real war, we would have destroyed the bridges over the Dnieper, and cut off the Eastern half of Ukraine’. Of course, armchair generals were saying this in March of 2022.

Russia has not destroyed Ukraine’s electric grid, because Putin said it was not humanitarian. When is that thinking going to change?

  6. xyzxy says:

Nah. Impossible for him to remain silent for 2 whole days. He’s just doing other stuff. Busy running the country like it’s the front page of a supermarket tabloid.

  7. SteveK9 says:

Trump missed an obvious opportunity. On day one, simply declare that this was Biden’s war, and we are pulling out … completely. It would have been a shock, and the same idiots (Graham, etc.) would have been opposed, but they would not have been ready. And, if they openly defied the President, he should have appealed directly, in an address to the American people.

Later, he had the same chance when, of all sources, the NY Times came out with a long article, basically saying yes, we have been directly at war with Russia.

Trump’s Achille’s heel … he is stupid, and cannot strategize like this. He needs help with that. JD Vance is not stupid, but he seems to have too little experience to really understand what is happening. Flynn would probably have been the obvious choice. Not sure why Trump did not try to bring him back … maybe he still will.

  8. “Alternatively, will he take the line that the CIA was merely operating to an old Presidential ‘Finding’ that authorised attacks into the depth of the Russian hinterland?”

Interesting about Presidential Findings. Does anyone know more about these. I mean really know?

Do they not have an expiry? Do they not expire anyway , if the President who writes them is incapacitated or replaced or elected out? Is the new President and his successors bound by them , unless they formally countermand those Presidential findings with a new but negating Presidential finding? Is the new President , by law, supposed to be advised of ALL extant Presidential finding?

Flynn’s bromide is remarkable. Who teaches apparatchiks to write these dire warnings of stuff that happened 75 years ago? CIA has acted outside the control of elected leadership from inception. By design. Legislators like Millard Tydings said so in Congress. CIA’s impunity and arbitrary power is meticulously documented and publicly demonstrated.

CIA waged an undeclared war with banned biological weapons on Trump’s watch, then purged him. Think it’s news to Trump that he’s not in control? His objective is not control. His stated goal is, shove it up their ass. That in itself would be a historic achievement.

It’s not like Flynn is Rip Van Winkle, waking up all surprised decades too late, Flynn ran the agency Kennedy set up to do the legal shit CIA can’t be bothered with. The Russians watched CIA do the same thing to Carter when he tried to comply with the Helsinki Accords. This is not new to them either.

It appears that the crucial mindfuck of CIA propaganda is getting you to pretend the same old shit is something new.

as far as trump being in opposition to the deepstate, i would have to see some evidence of this. we have always been told he was battling them valiantly but unable to overcome their deeply entrenched bureaucracy. we were told they tried to assassinate him but by the grace of god they only nicked his ear. imho, this was obviously staged, with wwf level production values and an iwo jima photo op, of trump overpowering his secret service, to pump his fist and incite his magatards, with “fight, fight, fight.”

now what has come this “assassination attempt”, who has been charged? no one and other than one dead sperge patsy, nothing has come out of this shuffling a few bureaucrats. trump has done nothing other than constantly change his idiotic positions, spinning like a whirling dervish but staying in the same place the entire time.

so if trump is unable to make executive decisions or he is just a reality show host playing the part of the president, makes no difference at all.

As General Mike Flynn has warned:

“The Deep State is now acting outside of the control of the elected leadership of our nation … These persons in our Deep State are engaged in a deliberate effort to provoke Russia into a major confrontation with the West, including the United States”.

well gee whiz, that sure sounds a lot like what israel is trying to do with their golem trump, confronting iran, it’s almost as if ukraine and palestine are two fronts in the same war. why if that were true, then israel is the deepstate. well that would make perfect sense, considering the cia and mossad conspired to really assassinate the sitting president, in 1963. seems we lost our “liberty” in the 60’s and have been taken step by step, down a very dark path of false flags and coopting our entire government, office by office, to the point that whitehouse is now a geriatric convalesce home/ insane asylum/ kubuki theater. welcome to the united state of israel.

  11. @SteveK9

I feel like a broken record so often nowadays, but I have to say it again: the fact that this war has dragged on so long is mostly Putin’s fault. He should have blitzkrieged Ukraine right from the start, endured the sanctions (which came anyway) and gotten it all over with fast. But now, instead, we are facing a gradual, creeping escalation towards a nuclear exchange. I guess the only silver lining here is that it will kill all the Democrats, too. LOL!

You are hardly the only one to suggest that. The real question is why? One theory is that there are Russian oligarchs who are still making money in Ukraine, and for example, they need the bridges to remain intact. Or, that China and India lack a thorough understanding of what is happening, and need to be kept onside. One thing seems clear, if you read John Helmer. The General Staff has wanted to do a lot more, and it is Putin who applies the brakes.

Israel Unveils Unprecedented Transfer To Ukraine Of ‘Several’ Patriot Missile Batteries
    9 Jun 2025

In early May it was first reported that a US-supplied Patriot air-defense system that was based in Israel would be refurbished and sent to Ukraine. This was despite what the White House’s National Security Council said at the time in a statement: “President Trump has been clear: he wants the war in Ukraine to end and the killing to stop.”

But American and Western arms for Ukraine have continued flowing, with no end in sight, despite what was a very brief stoppage of maybe a couple days earlier in Trump’s term. Israel has just revealed that it wasn’t merely “one” Patriot battery transferred to Ukraine, but “several”.

Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky unveiled in a Sunday interview with Pravda USA that Israel has delivered several MIM-104 Patriot surface-to-air missile systems to Kiev, in a clear significant escalation in its military support to the Zelensky government.

Over 50% of Russia’s nukes likely don’t work due to poor maintenance or have been stripped for parts to use in the failing war on Ukraine.

Russia would be mostly radioactive if they launched nukes when all was said and done and what would your hero Vlad be doing? Hiding in his hidey-hole with a $hundred million price on his head if he ever came out of it.

There is simply no percentage to gain for Russia to shoot off any of it s working nukes.

  17. Kalen says:

Crook in my opinion misread a quite elaborate strategy that is behind what he calls NATO inspired PR stunts executed by Kiev regime.

First, defeat of nuclear Russia militarily was off the table from day one as impossible and now officially confirmed by Pentagon and British generals. They were no idiots thinking that Austin’s public insinuation that Russian strategic (military) defeat was an objective was actually true.

It was not. Blinken or Sullivan gang’s blabbering about Ukraine military victory were PR stunts. It was no other but dimentiac Biden who spilled the beans in Warsaw in October 2022 speech where he clearly defined NATO goals by saying (paraphrasing) “That man (Putin) couldn’t be allowed to remain in charge of Russia if peace were to return to Europe”

That in turn was some quite reasonable goal of entire NATO Russian war fought by infected with foaming Russophobia Ukrainian idiots as cannon fodder. It was all about regime change operation via economic, diplomatic and political destabilization of Putin government via means of war exhaustion and crisis of confidence. Note that soft power campaigns of NATO since 2014 or even 2004 repeatedly failed to dislodge Putin from power.

Sure provoking the war in Ukraine was an act of despair for US fighting expensive existential battle to defend collapsing U.S. hegemony but it was not just last resort but a sound strategy that had and still has a good chance to succeed especially because of so called Russia’s Byzantine politics and tradition.

In short historical note. Russian state/kingdom/empire did not raise bottom up as in Western Europe’s states arose from small agricultural fiefdoms into big states via consolidation but as a protectorate of people not necessarily land as land was plentiful in Russia not worth to fight for very inch and economy was founded on exploitation of ubiquitous forests and plentiful and distributed natural resources not stationary agriculture. That meant that a millennium ago Russian state was founded on voluntary association that reduced state functions mostly as protector, guardian of people and only much later the land.

This protection of land and people is still an utmost imperative of any Russian (and Chinese) ruler and failing to do so 100% is what can easily result in dislodging Russia any seemingly stable and supported ruler by his previously loyal inner elites. That’s the Russian political culture. Therefore, Putin has an iron clad, most grave obligation to defend the state or he walks.

No need to mention that attacking Russian people (terrorism) and the state epitomized by its nuclear deterrent is where sophisticated NATO attack on Putin is aimed at. It’s not defeating army but weakening entire state protective capabilities which is considered a moral sin, fatal for Russian rulers.

So let’s not dismiss those as stupid inconsequential to war PR acts but consider them as a part of fortunately failing so far but dangerous ploy to get rid of Putin by threatening the state and open up possibilities of installing someone else who could be bribed like Yeltsin into following western global objectives. It’s unlikely but still possible if Putin could be painted as allowing or contributing to erosion of Russian power even slowly.

Even now with loss of strategic bombers in very small number he is expected to rebuilt them quickly even if it doesn’t make any technological sense as they are all outdated 1950s tech slated for decommission years ago.

Putin has real power (but not absolute power) in contrast to western leaders who have no real power at all and are puppets of a monolith of fused deep state and oligarchy and hence are easily changeable with no significant or at all consequences to governance and strategic policies government implements. Targeting them personally is useless and futile so western states if any fundamental changes are to be expected must be defeated as entire social organizations including deep state, military, economic and political. That’s a tall order to achieve hence death by slow painful but bearable and calibrated thousands cuts and self implosion is what Russia and China aim at regarding the west if it would ever accept multipolar world beyond empty rhetoric of today.

And, of course, there’s Pelagius of Asturias who defeated the Umayad in the Battle of Covadonga, marking the first major victory during the Reconquista.

As for war with Russia. I don’t care about a few Russian majority provinces in Eastern Europe. I don’t need 50% of Russia’s nukes making it across the Atlantic to pretend those provinces are Ukrainian. The US and Russia have no need to fight and could actually have a mutually beneficial relationship with each other.

Who will fix them? Maybe you or I will. We, the meek mutant people will inherit the Earth and all their spoils while their bunker guards turn on each other and them. The key to survival will not be in a bunker alone, but staying safe from the Golden Horde that leaves urban areas to ravage the Earth. Think The Road, where you must stay moving to escape from roaming, raping cannibal hordes ready to devour any infant for raw, fresh meat—only, on the real road those raping murder hordes will also be hunting down their meat with drones.

Better than a bunker is to be away from the nuclear fallout and blast, somewhere in the Southern Hemisphere according to projections of fallout; ideally, Argentina, Australia, or New Zealand. The most humiliating part of nuclear war is actually learning that after it, convict colonies will inherit the Earth. Better than a bunker is high-powered magnets, nets, and cheap Aliexpress tarps that can hide your thermal signature to evade capture by the Golden Horde. You can get information on how to make claymores and other explosives for future combat with these quasizombie hordes, too, from survivalist resources. Manufacturing of ammo will be essential, you can do it by hand and make your own armour piercing and hollow point rounds. You will need lots and lots of it.

Nuclear war is actually a good future, if you don’t think about it. It will be a total purifying holocaust, and those with the skills to survive will inherit the Earth.

All Western thought on nuclear war misses this perspective, including that the Soviet perspective was that nuclear war can be fought, and it can be won; just as they lost over 20 million in WWII and came out a superpower, they can lose nearly their entire population and rule the world after nuclear war. Do the Russians today still realise what the Soviets did? They have let their state-sponsored civilian nuclear shelters all decay, as far as I know. MAD is an impediment to survival of the individual and collective.

As I read all comments here so far all of them one way or another complain that Putin is too lenient, too preoccupied with Humanitarian concerns or weak or indecisive that cost additional Russian lives and treasure and in the same time proved ineffective in swaying western opinions substantially enough to press hard NATO to end the war even in US.

However the west is not the world. Public opinion of global majority is in fact shaped by Putin’s humanitarian approach. Over seven billion of world citizens know well how much of super human patience and restrain Putin exhibited in order to conduct not a war by large scale political intervention that SMO is in its core as it seeks equitable peace what diplomacy and previous political agreements even codified into international law by UNSC could not.

World sees clearly the war as NATO war against Russia which wasn’t a case three years ago when 142 countries voted at UNGA against Russia. As world now stands for Putin from Africa to Asia to South America how he ought to respond to NATO provocations or terrorism to keep all those people of the world and their governments support based on Putin’s humanitarian approach and superb diplomacy.

Use Nukes to end it all quick ? I don’t think so. Hit London MI6 HQ responsible for terror? May be but with perhaps hundreds of dead or claimed by western propaganda it may not go down well . That would definitely re established Russian escalatory dominance but may change dramatically perception of Russia from a just defender of its national security to an escalating the conflict superpower.

Mind that despite world’s massive support for Russia they don’t want to die for her in the all out nuclear war or starving during nuclear winter and that’s the bottom line.

So what are Moscow’s options. Killing Zelensky would been good PR as world despise him and his refusal to settle this conflict but bad for Russia peace negotiations if one who really cares about Ukraine takes power and demands reasonable deal but short of Russian plans Putin wouldn’t be able to refuse under Chinese pressure. Putin himself hinted that.

Moreover Zelensky intransigence and authoritarianism plays into total Kiev regime collapse followed by recriminations for defeat. Russia needs such a collapse to install Moscow friendly government that would place most of the blame on Zelensky regime, Ukrainian Ultranationalists and the west for fueling devastating war and massive territorial loses.

And they found it among people like Zelensky’s former propagandist Arestovitch living in Florida now who declared his candidacy for president of Ukraine and wants Zelensky arrested, tried and executed for treason as well as neo Nazis for their crimes against Ukrainian ethnic Russian population and Russian POWs, claiming betrayal by the west and bitter necessity of historical return to Russia friendly policies as required for existence of sovereign Ukrainian state.

So can Putin do something meaningful and hard enough to reverberate within NATO walls? Well he can use proxies like DPRK to hit Taiwan or supporters in MENA in a coordinated hit on British or even American assets including strategic ports and airfields in Africa or Asia. Two can play the game of plausible deniability NATO is playing with Russia using Kiev proxy coverup. Trump compromised himself in front of Putin claiming that he didn’t know about attack on strategic bombers too stupid to understand that it was worse than admitting the fact of knowing about it before it happened. Trump lost all credibility to resolve Ukrainian conflict.

  25. EVERYTHING was thought out (as far as 99%’ers go) by the 1% elite.

The bunkers are staffed with every kind of professional needed to keep this bunkers operational for as long as possible. (if Americans paid attention to the black budgets, it would be known)

‘The 1% Bunkers’ are not staffed with regular idiot U.S. enlisted, they are staffed with the most ‘special’ of special forces who are so psychopathic they would not hesitate in blowing an infant’s head off.

As such, there will be a caste/slave system in the bunkers. There is no Constitution or ‘human rights’ in those places. You will do your job which is to preserve the 1% or you will not do anything ever again.

No 99%’er here at least, has even figured out that all the food recalls of recent weeks and months were false and those goods are instead diverted, guess where?

The 1% have been leading the 99%’ers around by the balls, for most of Western history. The very best psychologists, behavioral scientists, etc were tasked with figuring out the most effective way to keep ‘Pasty Joe Punclock’ and his ‘useless eater brethren’ from realizing, actually realizing what was going on. (think MK-ULTRA if it does not hurt the brain too much)

The most effective way was by ‘elevating’ blacks, and for some halfwitted reason, 99’er whites have an absolute, irrevocable, hard on when it comes to black anything. ‘Obama’ was created for this purpose, who as a negro, half white or not, succeeded in making complete asses out of the 99’ers, would and has sparked the fires of ‘white vitriolic rage and hatred’ to the point where 1%’ers and their SPECTRE type plans, regardless of the atrocity, would essentially exist only in 99%’er short term memory.

For instance, any idiot paying half-serious attention, would have seen the pattern of ‘scourge diseases’, Spanish Flu, HIV, Swine Flu, H5N1, COVID, and figured out something was very wrong and that a long-term agenda was being carried out.

Today for instance, Bill Gates brainchild of currently dimming the sun is nowhere near a slight thought in the heads of ‘Pasty Joe and his useless eater brethren’ and it is the same with every other 1%’er goy and jew white elite scheme. 9/11, billions and billions of dollars to Israel yearly even though “America’s greatest ally is hostile to America by it’s own actions’, black budget money for projects that show no value to the 99%.

99%’ers had every chance to challenge the 1% but let the 1%’er manipulation of ‘negro fever’ give them ‘chocolate cataracts’.

99%’ers near completely ignore non-black, non-white races that clearly have no love or respect for 99%’er whites. Even with the latino version of BLM now activating and going ape shit, they are still given 2nd place to the black BLM along with everything that has the slightest connection to blacks.

It will be most interesting to see how this 4th Turning ends.

What Kiev regime got for Patriot MIM 104 (upgraded 1980s tech) ADS from NATO was

    PAC-2 GEM (Guidance Enhanced Missile);
    PAC-2 GEM-Cruise (GEM-C);
    PAC-2 GEM-Tactical (GEM-T);
    PAC-3 Cost Reduction Initiative (CRI);
    PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE).

Supposedly newest Missile PAC-4 exists (not confirmed) but in small quantity if any and not given to Kiev.

Israelis didn’t say how many missiles they sent to Kiev that claims having only 200 total left. The whole US production is 650 a year. Others produce few hundreds more total. These launchers are from 1990s unable to shoot down modern Iranian missiles but good to use for shooting down $20,000 drones with two to four milion dollar per missile. That’s why US deployed THAAD in Israel in ME but even that can’t shoot down missiles with MIRVs and instead hit decoys.

Here below is the screenshot of that admission by the Russian ambassador, essentially saying that blowing up the Dnieper River bridges would win the war but they aren’t doing it because the war is ‘limited’ now, as reported (with contented approval) by Pepe Escobar

What is horrifyingly ugly here about Russia and its promoters like Escobar, is that this so-called ‘limited’ war means continuing grinding slaughter of hundreds of thousands of white conservative Slavic males

Whereas the ‘real’ war the Ambassador speaks of would quickly end the slaughter and save hundreds of thousands of lives:
    – Dnieper bridges blown up
    – Ukraine logistics thus destroyed, almost no soldiers or arms can reach the battlefront
    – the Russian-speaking east third of Ukraine carved off
    – war over in weeks

This is well-detailed by Unz writer Rolo Slavskiy aka Rurik, joking about agreeing with Escobar that yes, the Dnieper bridges are the key if Russia was ‘serious’:
    https://slavlandchronicles.substack.com/p/turns-out-i-agree-with-pepe-escobar

We have to face the facts here
This is joint genocide by Jewish Zelensky and Jewish-mother (‘Shalom-ova’) Putin, with maybe already a million conservative white males killed or disabled, Putin playing along despite Ukraine-NATO having provoked the war by the killings in Donbass 2014 onwards:
    – Putin openly ‘anti-nationalist’ and jailing Russian nationalists like Strelkov who always wanted to win the war quickly
    – Putin’s oligarchs enriched as they oversee the massive slaughter of white Slavic Russian males who would oppose them
    – Putin banning major Christian public events as ‘provocative’, but allowing huge Muslim public events
    – Putin sponsoring mass Muslim etc immigration and building of mosques
    – Putin supporting nearly all the globalist, surveillance, digital etc agendas aside from LGBT (the latter not suited to rapidly Islamifying ‘multi-cultural’ Russia)

I have a corollary to the dictum. If you wish for something and you get it, don’t complain. Not sure how that applies here.

This operation was planned well before that statement was made and informing Trump would be a liability.

How would the U.S. respond if an adversary (perhaps a non-state actor) launched a strike against strategic long-range nuclear capable bombers in the USA using cheap and easily available drones hidden in containers?

All long range bombers are nuclear capable.

These bombers were on private satellite. Ukraine decided to attack them and it was a success. No conspiracy required.

Putin defenders are obviously frustrated as the Ritters and MacGregors of alt-right have been wrong. Just plain wrong.

Starting from there, what do the Russians do?

They’re being attacked by a mafia intent on their destruction and stealing their resources.

It’s a question of their response. The US public aren’t responsible for those attacks and neither are the British public – so WW3 would harm the wrong people – apart from causing enormous damage to Russia.

The answer is to track down the culprits and deal with them directly. It’s clear that a particular group of people ran this operation. They conceived it, enabled it, gathered a team of operatives and did it. Once they ‘re identified, they’re all eliminated without any group punishment necessary.

    There are historic precedents.

When Mussolini took power in Italy (1922) it had a serious mafia problem . That didn’t last long. He used those same mafia tactics on them (and their collaborators) and the problem was soon fixed.

There was also the case of Colombia (1985), taken over by Pablo Escobar’s cocaine mafia. The US decide to finish with him – but not by destroying Colombia. They used his same mafia tactics, running undercover cells, tapping phones, sponsoring rival groups, with Escobar’s people getting mysteriously bombed and shot until he was on the run*.

Is the reason perhaps that Putin is following the same agenda as NATO? And this is all theatre (yes, a deadly one).

For me it’s really odd the last 10+ years. The Maidan coup in 2014. Russia let it happen. The should have known that, for 8 years, NATO was building up it’s military infrastructure in Ukraine. They let it happen. With all the intelligence on the ground (because of history, Russian speaking people and proximity) and in the air the should have known much more than they say. But each time they say they were led by the nose. In 2022 (when the COVID scam was losing its traction) suddenly Russia felt the urge to invade Ukraine to demilitarize, denazify Ukraine. And after 3 years, how much progress did they gain? I also would expect they would go all-in like Pakistan/India a few weeks back. So, Russia was against the wall and had no other option to invade, and then display this performance?

I think they (both sides) want “war” in Europe (and other places). Yes, a deadly war, but not an all-in nuclear war. The citizens should be in a permanent state of fear. Checkpoints everywhere. Laws put aside for “national security”. Total crackdown on society to be able to “protect”. All communication intercepted/censored because you do not know who is the enemy.

No, this is not true. Look at what happened to Syria, Russia threw it under the bus. They said that Syrians didn’t want to fight, so why should we? Is there seriously anybody believing this? Don’t talk about using nukes, don’t talk about attacking NATO. Nobody wants that, it’s even silly to even mention this. No, Russia should have given a few warnings to Ukraine and then go all-in. Destroy all bridges, airports, fuel depot’s, etc. Remember this war strated in 2014, so Ukrainians should had the time to overthink the consequences. Look what happened between India and Pakistan. India has a lot more powerful army, but Pakistan responded with overwhelming force to stop it and the war was over in a few days. What do you think what would happen if something like this happened during Sovjet times? NATO didn’t dare to do something like this.

Africans should look to ally with other Africans, Latin and South Americans with each other, and so on, just like Europeans are doing with their NATO. North Korea built up its own defence industry so much so that it was even able to supply Russia with ammunition. What is the evidence that Russia had the conventional military power and national wherewithal in 2022 to overwhelm the Armed Forces of Ukraine (also called NATO)? Yes, they could have taken out the Ukrainian power grid (energy infrastructure) and all the bridges (transportation infrastructure), but I doubt they were prepared to tackle the ramifications and follow up work associated with that sort of total war. This would create a humanitarian crisis which is a magnet for Western intervention. I think the Kremlin has been going slow to move everything in their favor. They still need to rotate several million more men through the armed forces before the country has the full ability to absorb and control a defeated Ukraine while simultaneously having enough forces to protect the Rodina from other threats.

The SMO can end sooner if Ukraine makes a sincere capitulation and really kicks out NATO. On the other hand, if Russia has to force a defeat they are not ready to handle the peace. People lose sight of what is involved in pacifying and restoring a defeated Ukraine. They also forget how many internal weaknesses Russia is dealing with. The military has a very strong nuclear triad but otherwise has many soft spots. A defeated and decoupled Ukraine will be helpless and broke and Russia will need to support it for years. I assume the Kremlin has been working on a plan for this peacetime reintegration non-stop since 2022, but it is a very difficult problem. Worse yet, once Russia controls Ukraine the Ukies start to gain more traction in Russian politics.

Completing the SMO and resolving the associated problems is a very complicated project.

Are you going back to this ridiculous theory that their failed decapitation attack was a feint? That is an absurd cope created by Putin defenders like Larry C Johnson. A reality hater like yourself that can’t accept that the 2.5 week special operation has been a disaster.

NATO forces were not in Ukraine and in fact Zelensky ignored warnings from the US and UK that Russia was about to attack through Belarus. Meaning if NATO had been in charge of Ukraine in 2022 then it would have been much worse for Russia. There was plenty of time to prepare a trap since Putin had to funnel his armored units through a single bridge from Belarus. Instead Zelensky made diplomatic appeals with the expectation that an ultimatum would come before an attack. He was wrong and US/UK intelligence were correct.

Putin did not send enough forces into Kiev in 2022. He expected a quick capitulation and that the Ukrainian military would stand down. The Russians tried to take Antonov airport and failed. That battle is well documented and backed with video from the fight. Putin did not send 2 dozen helicopters to only make it look like they wanted to take an airport near the capital.

Are you sure? China herself could use a proxy to hit American military base located in Taiwan or military installations nearby disputed islands and claim plausible deniability as U.S. did attacking Russian nuclear bombers. Why not? As North Korea is in a military alliance with Russia equivalent to NATO US wouldn’t dare to attack DPRK to start nuclear WWIII because Taiwan was hit.

Too many people here assume long expired US absolute power to do anything it wants despite repeated US failures and embarrassing defeats like in Afghanistan and now in Ukraine, Yemen and even Iran as U.S. attact on Iran nuclear facilities turned out to be infeasible and unsustainable despite Israeli push. US leaves Syria this year and Iraq next year allowing Turkey and Iran to take over while key U.S. ally Israel destroyed its international political power over Gaza and by that ruined U.S. reputation as a mediator in MENA.

The time of US hegemony has passed now two or three can play that game. US was trounced in Yemen and pulled out leaving Red Sea trade under full Houthis control. There was no escalation after US losing three F/A 18s and F-35 almost shot down but a truce. Ballistic missiles, drones still are flying over Israel.

So far US attempts to destabilize Russia and China in fact destabilized U.S. where dollar is collapsing, UST yields and gold are raising precipitously, US Marines deployed on the streets of LA to quash a revolt backed by state and local governments against deportation of illegal immigrants while courts reverse or erode Trump executive powers, a constitutional crisis is flaring up, national debt and US budget deficit is soaring uncontrollably, foreign investments flee, misguided tariffs policies are backfiring alienating friends and foes causing increased inflation while Sen Graham threatens new 500% tariffs de facto against China, India and all BRICS+ and by that collapsing global dollar trade, dedollarization of global trade is in full swing gradually replaced by local currencies bilateral trade while BRICS PAY is about to be introduced next month, Dems co-opted few Reps and threaten impeachment. Senate Reps splits on Trump policies and powers, MAGA is pissed off on Trump for continuing massive foreign spending and little savings out of DOGE hype while Musk, Bessent Trump spat turned into a threat to MAGA funding and unity just to name few destabilizing factors that will play out in next few months to few years with no remedy in sight.

That meant that a millennium ago Russian state was founded on voluntary association that reduced state functions mostly as protector, guardian of people and only much later the land.

No that isn’t true at all.

Russia started as a vassal state for the Golden Horde.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Horde

Their association was forced by hostile Asian barbarians.

Russia didn’t have independence from the Horde until 1480.

Which means Russia was fighting for independence from nomadic Asians when Columbus was making his plans to sail around thew world.

This protection of land and people is still an utmost imperative of any Russian (and Chinese) ruler and failing to do so 100% is what can easily result in dislodging Russia any seemingly stable and supported ruler by his previously loyal inner elites.

Should the protection of land and people be an utmost imperative of Ukranian leaders?

I am quite sure which was dominant, but success of the initial rush to Kiev by Russian was only stopped by two factors.

    i. The Russian polity and brass underestimated the degree to which Russian speakers had been repressed, so expected cooperation did not appear. However, at the time, the apparatchiks of (((Zelensky))) were not yet taping Russian speakers and sympathisers to poles, trees and so on, then anally raping them with sticks. That mainly came later, late ’22 and especially ’23.

ii. Talks were quickly offered, so R.F. forces were withdrawn, and talks commenced.

An agreement was reached, then the vain and stupid clown Alexander ‘Boris’ Johnson also in part ((()))) turned up to tell (((Zelensky))) that he would have unlimited NATO support if he rejected the terms of the agreement.

The first articles by ‘Rolo Slavsky’, in 2022, also reflect this idea. Mainly accounts by a soldier, seemingly a friend or acquaintance of ‘Rolo’, who was confused as to why his unit was near Kiev and then suddenly ordered to withdraw.

As you showed in the video clip the second best in the west Kiev’s air defense (after Tel Aviv) can’t do a thing to stop Russian advanced weapons despite using Patriot missiles.

Anybody who examines damages to civilian areas can see clearly that most were caused by Kiev air defense missiles that missed the target while exclusively industrial areas or command centers were being hit by drones and by cruise and aeroballistic missiles leveling entire industrial buildings.

Interesting that MAXAR refused to timely release satellite images as they prove virtually no damage to civilian areas confirming precision of Russian strikes while they were always eager to immediately show Ukrainian drone damages to Russian industrial areas.

My point that Russia was not well prepared in early 2022 is supported by either theory of the Kiev attack. If it was a poorly executed attack or a well staged feint–the Russians were not capable of crushing the AFU and taking the capital. It would have required a much larger force to cleanly take Kiev and hold it against AFU forces in the region. The Russians didn’t have a larger force.

I wasn’t aware I had to state the obvious. First of all stop this nonsense about nukes, nobody wants these to be used. I wasn’t suggesting this or anything close. Perhaps better read my post.

Secondly, of course every country has the responsibility for its own security. And every country should build up its own defenses. I was not suggesting that Russia should do all the fighting. Take Latvia (just as an example). Nobody in their right mind would think that they can defend themselves against Russia. They have zero chance. So they form alliances. Why would, for example, the US form an alliance with Latvia? For Latvia its a win because it has a alliance with a strong and powerfull nation. And for the US it’s a strategic win because Latvia is close to Russia. And yes, they should help each other for protection (it would be laughable if you would suggest that Latvia will come to the rescue if the US was in dire need). The alliance Russia had with Syria was foremost strategically, to have some influence in the middle east. You build an alliance with other nations that are trustworthy. Can Latvia trust NATO that it will help out in case of need? Of course Latvia is also responsible for their own protection. Similarly, can country X trust Russia that it will come to the rescue if they need help? If not, why form an alliance? Better to form alliances with others where you can count on.

I said very early on that the ground was being prepared for the establishment of an Israel 2.0 in the Ukraine. I added that this would be the result regardless of the outcome of the present Ukraine war.

My case for this is pretty simple. Gradually, Israel is turning into a country of non-European descended Jews. It may in that case no longer be seen as a refuge and destination for European descended Jews.

The territory of the present Ukraine was the area of greatest Jewish habitation in Europe and therefore at least some part of it can be considered the historic homeland of the European-descended Jew.

There is a land connected between Israel and Ukraine. If, either due to the Arabs finally acquiring enough military force to defeat Israel in war or for some other political reason, Israel has to be evacuated, the population can be moved by land to Ukraine.

Then there is the simple matter of overflow. There is a limit to the amount of territory Israel can be expected to populate even if the Palestinian Arabs ultimately are forced to resettle somewhere else. There needs to be another territory where Jews can go. The United States may come to be no longer seen as a refuge, if it is not already no longer seen as a refuge.

Under these circumstance, Ukraine will not become a Jewish state. It will remain a multiethnic secular republic, but it could come to have a large Jewish population.

The guarantor and protector will be Russia. Remember, same outcome regardless of how the war ends.

Not sure, but as I recall from Irving, after Germany was (((betrayed))) at Versailles, Germans remaining in Poland were treated horribly, even lethally. Maybe. On the other hand the destruction of Anglo-America is a long-standing Jewish project. For the (((overlords))) the negative results we see here are features, not bugs. They are just working to create a festering caste society with one group at the top.

This is separate from the New Khazaria project which has always been a solid explanation for what is going on in Ukraine (similar or equivalent to your suggestion).

I assume (((they))) want to control all three areas (USA, Jerusalem, Ukraine). However they may have misplayed their hand in Ukraine. The Russians defended the prize of Crimea and the Khazarians have been frustrated ever since that happened. At the rate things are going they may lose everything except Kiev.

    I was not particularly clear.

Children, sooner or later grow up and leave their homes and begin to participate in outer life, as opposed to their lives lived at home with their parents.

Even before birth the growing child encounters the limitations of being in the protective power of her life support system.

After birth — at last free of the womb — she is free of its constraints, but as we know she encounters restraints of a different order. Given the primal urge to survive parents serve both to protect the child and restrain the child from experiences children are not ready to encounter. The young girl already senses that her parents and grandparents wield power she imagines will disappear once she obtains a crown.

Then she will be able to do whatever she wants! Some people through their natural inclinations, their circumstances, their predilections, and their will to power, manage to achieve a degree of power they imagined when they were young and naïve could not be thwarted.

But once again they inevitably encounter resistance.

As a rule resistance emerges from quarters both unexpected and unimagined by their earlier selves.

Just as the little girl senses the resistance to her being able to do whatever she wants — is her parents and grandparents — she commensurably imagines a crown will bestow upon her the ‘freedom’ to do whatever she wants though she remains unaware that power inevitably encounters resistance which transcends the obvious — power she cannot imagine!

People sooner or later discover — often painfully — that the more power one imagines one has to exert their will — and indeed that power may be be considerable, no individual had the power to gain what he imagines is obtainable.

Imagines is the key word. Tragically people tend to imagine certain things like power or wealth will heal that which is missing in their psyches. They imagine others will be impressed! Obviously some people will be impressed but as a rule there is always somewhere a man or a woman could walk where no one would recognize him or her.

This is where violence comes in and the ideology of force and propaganda and of course money! Powerful people wield violence, force, propaganda, ideology, and money as though what they seek is permanent. History proves otherwise.

Gradually powerful people are surrounded by the obsequious. These create a veil preventing the powerful from observing the gilded cage within which they are confined.

How many examples are there of those tempted, and unable to resist the siren call of being able to do whatever they want — destroyed?

There is far more power in understanding the limits of power than there is in seeking to transcend them.

Smart kids figure that out early.

You don’t deny Zionist-controlled Churchill initiated the bombing of civilian targets.

I see no reason to believe that Churchhill made the decision based on Jews.

Both Hitler and Churchhill made the decision to bomb civilians.

Hitler was doing it before they were at war with Britain.

Churchhill had bombed civilians in Bulgaria and Hitler had bombed civilians in Warsaw before either side went after the cities of the other.

So no I don’t see either one as having some type of moral supremacy or justification over the other. They both deserve to be viewed as moral degenerates. Churchhill got away with abandoning Poland to the Communists even though their liberation was the justification for Britain’s involvement.

Amusingly, you expect us to take your word for it that you are not a Hebrew hasbara troll (meaningless, given that hasbara are specifically trained to lie & deny).

Word for what? Are you saying that Hitler would have been unable to set a policy of not targeting civilian populations? The docks used in D-Day were actually closer targets than London. Meaning there was actually less risk in focusing on the docks and he didn’t do it. He instead chose to attack London and bury women and children in rubble. That was Hitler’s decision. Now dream up some excuses for him along the lines of Derpa Derpa Jews Churchhill.

    Jewish John’s Johnson (JJJ) writes:

I see no reason to believe that Churchhill made the decision based on Jews.

Really? You can’t see the 19,000* reasons that the rest of us can?
(*In the late 1930’s, Jewish financier Henry Strakosch paid off the 19,000 pounds of crippling debt that Churchill had accrued from his profligate lifestyle).
From that moment on the Jews owned him (not that they hadn’t also been financing him prior to that point).

Let me put that 19,000 pounds in the context of depression era Great Britain of the 1930’s.
One GBP (Great Britain Pound) equalled 20 shillings at that time.
A lot of unskilled workers were paid as little as 15-20 shillings in weekly wages during the Depression years. ie: 39-52 pounds in yearly wages.

So the 19,000 pound debt of Churchill’s that was paid off by the Jews, was equivalent to something of the order of 360-480 YEARS OF EARNINGS FOR A LOWLY WORKER. This was an astronomical amount of money.

Summary: And JJJ, what do you think the Jews wanted in return for paying of Churchill’s princely debt obligation? What was the quid pro quo?
It’s obvious that from that moment on they controlled British foreign policy and conduct of the war.

As stupid as you are JJJ (and make no mistake UR readers, JJJ is very stupid indeed), even you are aware of ZOG’s control of all the leading western world politicians, going back even before WWI and continuing right up to the present day.

Quit with the pretence that you don’t know this.
Quit pretending that you aren’t aware that ZOG orchestrated the Ukraine proxy war and the needless slaughter (almost all of it being Ukrainian dead and countless thousands of ZOG funded foreign mercenaries), going on over there.
The UR readers are aware that you’re sayan in the employ of the ADL (or perhaps ZOG itself).

I agree with almost every comment you have written here. I’ve written the same things over the last 3+ years. I still believe that Russia could and should have done a lot more to win. I’m not just talking about the beginning of the conflict. After Bucha, Russia realized it would have to take and hold a large part of Ukrainian territory or there would be a massacre … this came from a Russian analyst. That is when the war changed.

Taking out the Dnieper bridges would not have been easy (other Russian analysts). Some of them are massive. But, some are not, and they are all still there (I think Russia did make a couple of half-hearted attacks). So, just keep hitting them, if you lose planes you lose them. Ukraine destroyed the Kakhova dam, although it took them a dozen attempts.

The electric grid is the real question. I think you are underestimating what a complete loss of the grid would mean. And, Russia could do this … now. Forget warehouses, factories, deployment points, etc. Hit the grid with everything you have, day after day, after day. The first thing America did in Iraq was destroy the electric grid. It would be a humanitarian disaster, as Putin pointed out. Russia keeps saying they only target military targets … very noble. But, destroying the grid would be the quickest way to a victory. OK, he doesn’t want to do that, but that is a choice, not a necessity.

This is as much time as I want to spend on this, so a reply would be for other readers.

The first thing America did in Iraq was destroy the electric grid. It would be a humanitarian disaster, as Putin pointed out.

USA isn’t a neighbor of Iraq. They don’t give a fuck if there’s a humanitarian crisis in Iraq, and millions of Iraqi refugees fleeing into Europe, nor even an Iraqi resistance movement that will conduct what USA calls terrorist attacks. Because they’re an ocean away.

Russia has dealt with this before: with another former SSR that USA pumped up with Russia hatred and loaded to the gills with terrorists to strike at Russia. Chechnya. And Russia was able to turn the tide in short order and now Chechnya is a participant in the war to tame Ukraine. Russia learned a lot of lessons from that. As they advance in the Donbass, they have their social services almost right with the front line. They immediately provide food and medical assistance to ‘liberated’ survivors, sign them up for Russian pensions, give them a Russian passport, let them vote in Russian elections…. The reconstruction crews operate within reach of Ukrainian artillery, rebuilding homes and infrastructure like electricity and water, connecting them to the Russian side. This partly limits the speed of their advance, in fact, Russia doesn’t seem to want to take swaths of territory if they can’t immediately integrate it.

This is a battle for the hearts and minds of Ukrainians, since Ukraine will always be on the border of Russia. Russia doesn’t want what USA has planned, that is constant attacks inside Russia by Ukrainian terrorists, exactly what USA planned in Chechnya. So they need the Ukrainian population to be loyal enough to Russia so that they will not tolerate terrorists using them as a base to attack Russia.

It’s the sort of long game approach to war that USA has never even attempted, and apparently can’t fathom. It doesn’t compute. USA looks down on their victims like vermin, to be stomped on until they hide and tremble in fear. And they don’t understand why some people don’t tremble at their awesome power. But it’s now a matter of national pride in USA to never consider the point of view of their victims. Trump has no idea what the Iranians want, because of a cultural block on the American side from even thinking about that. It’s taboo.

    You’re exactly right KM.
It’s easy enough for a major military power to comprehensively defeat a middling military nation on the battlefield in a short campaign. But it’s much harder to win an ENDURING PEACE.

The Russians KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY’RE DOING.
They’ve had minimal casualties of their own (in relative terms), while simultaneously inflicting crushing losses on the professional Ukrainian Armed Forces and the inventory of the Anglo-Zionist empire/it’s vassals/and their mercenary army.

It’s tiring hearing all the B.S from various fools saying:
‘The Russians should’ve taken out all the bridges’ or ‘ blown up the power stations and deprived the Ukies of electricity’.
Much as I like Paul Craig Roberts, PCR has got it wrong by saying the Russians should’ve finished this war long ago, and by not doing so they’ve played into the hands of the Anglo-Zionist empire.

This is asymmetric war that Putin is waging.
With every day that passes the U.S and its servile vassals get much weaker [militarily/economically], while Mother Russia powers ahead in relative terms.
The professional Ukrainian Armed Forces that began this conflict in Feb 2022, has long ago been decimated (over 1 million dead and multiples of that maimed, crippled, blinded, lost limbs and PTSD’ed).

To the extent that the Ukie side has any combat capability remaining, this is NOT coming from the Ukies themselves. The bulk of it is provided by mercenaries (many from Poland and other snivelling NATO nations, as well as those scraped together from the bottom of the barrel from all over the world).

Well, most of those mercenaries have already met their maker.
The remainder are due to follow suit in short order if they don’t wise up and suddenly become conscientious objectors (like the 51,000 Ukrainian deserters from last year that threw down their weapons and refused to forfeit their lives on behalf of the ZOG agenda):

I get sad every time I read another PCR screed on Ukraine, saying Russia should have upped the war to Armageddon levels immediately (as USA intended they should). It tells me USA’s ruling class cannot comprehend Russian strategy, has no interest in understanding Russian strategy, and will continue their wars of aggression as long as they can because they refuse to even consider that the rest of humanity is, well, human. We’re all insects to them. Or livestock.

And this attitude guarantees there will be more Gazas, more unprovoked attacks on Irans, more refugees, more genocides, until finally the world has had enough and terminates the cancer destroying human civilization. And none of this was necessary. None of USA’s ‘adversaries’ were trying to destroy USA. They only want to live and let live. Apparently that’s too much to ask.
