I admit my affinity for some, most definitely not all, East Asians. My rationale is threefold:

#1) Except for some of the SE types, many of whom are receiving welfare, they are an economic asset. A related point is that blacks aren’t some homogeneous mass.

A telling episode occurred in the course of the British ‘liberating’ Ethiopia from the Italians in 1941 and reinstalling Emperor Selassie. He was an Amhara, and of course stood for the Amhara ruling everyone else. One junior British officer pointed out that for an awful lot of the various groups living in Ethiopia, this wasn’t liberation at all; it was just taking them away from one master and giving them back to their old one.
